It is an ideal institution for good education and campus life.
Placements: Being a premier institution based in Mumbai, there were umpteen placement opportunities provided by the official placement cell of the college. These were mostly inclined towards management and commerce-oriented courses and witnessed companies such as various banks (like ICICI, SBI, IT-based companies, Infosys, etc). It may not be possible to corroborate the exact packages, but they were all around 3 LPA to 5 LPA, depending on the companies.
Infrastructure: The college has umpteen space for all college-related activities (like seminars, festivals, events, and screenings). The entire campus is fully air-conditioned, which is an added bonus. There is a library, a humble canteen and a big gymkhana too. The infrastructure is getting a new makeover in one of the buildings, so expect more.
Faculty: With regards to the course B.M.M. (Mass Media), the curriculum is well-adapted to the present times due to the autonomy as compared to other institutions, but there is always scope for more improvement. The faculty are experienced, but at times, the students may be required to pull themselves up by their own bootstraps for various opportunities. However, it's better for other institutions to have the same course.
Other: I'd like to see more practical-oriented sessions because our course demands that. The events are plenty good, so any ward is supposed to be getting great exposure to the happening in the city.

It provides good faculty members with the best infrastructure.
Placements: Our seniors told that the college faculty members give a letter of recommendation to the good students, and a lot of seniors get good internships in some well-known companies with a good pay structure.
Infrastructure: Our college has two buildings, one which is referred to as the old building and the other which is referred to as the new building. B.M.M. lectures are conducted in the new building, and the classrooms are huge and well lit. There are air conditioners in every classroom. Sometimes there is a slight network issue in the new building. Library and canteen are there in the old building and are well maintained.
Faculty: Professors are qualified and helpful. They are very polite and teach their subjects well. There are a lot of practical assignments given by all the professors which help students to get a more practical approach in each subject. The course curriculum and the assignments are designed in such a way that it makes all the students industry-ready. The semester exams are not very difficult if the student has been attentive in the lectures.
Other: The events in our college are fun and it is an experience one should never miss. The campus crowd is good. Extra curricular activities help all students to explore their interests and also pursue their hobbies at the same time.

Overall, it is the best college one can get into.
Placements: Our course is one of the most well-known courses in our college. About 60% of people get placed from college placements, and the rest pursue further education. Companies like CNBC, BBC, DNA, etc., come for placements. Though our college doesn't provide internships, surely allows students to work as well as manage studies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. Our college has 2 buildings, one new and one old, and a huge auditorium. The old building has courses like B.Sc., B.A., chemistry labs, etc., along with the canteen in that building, which serves amazing food. The new building shelters students who opt for courses like BMM BMS and BM.
Faculty: Our college is famous for its faculty members. We have professors who are teaching in the college for over a decade now. B.M.M. has a faculty of 15 teachers who are more than amazing with their subjects. The exams are just fine, but what is important is the attendance. You need to have a minimum of 75% attendance in order to appear for exams.

Amazing crowd, best course offered by Jai Hind!
Placements: Placements were offered by top companies working in the media sector with respect to our industry, advertising, PR agencies, SMM. Average package was something around 20K per month to 35K per month as the highest. Around 70% batch got placed as some others looked for their Masters degree or outside placements.
Infrastructure: The college campus is a fun, safe environment. Amazing canteen, well-equipped classroom, and proper South Bombay vibes. Good seating area, open area, indoor play rooms, best foyer to chill around. Wi-Fi, best canteen in the south Bombay colleges. Jai hind doesn't provide hostels, but there are good PGs/hostels or flats in and around.
Faculty: Best faculty available for this course. The faculty members are all industry known people and visiting faculty members are the most fun people to know the insides of our industry. Some of the visiting faculty were, Span Verma, the comedian, Akash Motiani, a well established director and many more. Our beloved HOD Dr. S Varalaxmi is the brand for Jai Hind college's B.M.M. course.

It is a nice college with good teachers and a decent crowd. Our college is nice to study.
Placements: I don't have much idea about the placements of our college. However, our college provides decent placements. In our college, there is an office related to placements queries, etc., where you can approach regarding placements. This office contains teachers to help you.
Infrastructure: Facilities are very good here, and the infrastructure is also good. Our college has two buildings, i.e., one old building and one new building. There are air-conditioned classrooms, Wi-Fi facility and smart classes facilities in every classroom, but there is no hostel and mess.
Faculty: Teachers here are very good, helpful and knowledgeable. They provide genuine exposure to the outside world to students by providing them with projects to make them ready for the industry and to interact with people of the industry. They will make you learn from videos, presentations, etc.
Other: I have chosen this course because I like to learn about the media. This college is very good for media studies. Our college provides lots of projects related to real-life, which are fun and provide much to learn. Our course organises a fest and other extracurricular activities also, so if any student wants to apply for them, they can apply.

Hi Anjali, You need just 60% marks for eligibility in this course after that you need to take entrance test and interview (in some institute). Almost every college and institute holds a entrance test for admission. Only a selected ones takes direct admission through your numbers. All the best.

It is difficult to get a seat with this percentage in the Colleges you are trying for. Still, keep trying till the last if more seats are vacant may be you can get a chance.
