For admission to a BTech programme at Jawaharlal Nehru Engineering College, the aspirant must fulfill the course-specific eligibility criteria. The selection for JNEC Aurangabad BTech course is based on PERA CET, MHT CET, JEE Main and MGMU-CET score. Additionally, candidates must pass HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subject or Computer Science or Information Technology or Informatics Practices or Agriculture or Engineering Graphics or Business Studies with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together to apply for BTech course. After the completion of the selection rounds, aspirants need to pay a course fee to confirm their seat in the college. The total seat intake for BTech course is 630. The total tuition fee for BTech is INR 1.50 lakh. Admissions to JNEC for all of its offered courses is completely entrance-based. Students must clear the relevant entrance exam and obtain a valid score in order to secure a seat at the college.
