College had decent placements and the faculty was top notch.

Placements: At our college, there were an average number of placement opportunities for the CSE. Around 45% of the students get placements in our college. The highest package offered was 9 LPA. The lowest package offered was 3 LPA. The average package offered at the college was 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies in our course are TCS, WordPress, Wipro, Tata Technologies, etc. At the college, around 60% of students get internships.

Our college is very good. I would not recommend joining this college.

Placements: Only small companies visit our college to recruit students.

The college is not good at food and transportation.

Placements: Mostly the first and top mark holding students got placed from the college. There are no placement opportunities for mechanical engineering in core companies. Placement training is given, but the placement shortage in our college.

Our college is far better in previous years and before. Now it is average, but not at its best.

Placements: The highest salary package offered is 2.47 LPA which I heard from our senior. Wipro is recruiting many students from our branch. Maximum of 50% of the students got placed in the last few years, but now it is average. Top roles offered are managing of team leaders from various sources.

It is a good campus, but I am dissatisfied with placements provided..

Placements: The campus was fine and good to study. But it was worst for placements in civil and mechanical streams. None of the recruiters visited the campus to recruit students from these departments. Our college doesn't show interest in our department also.

The college is good. They can even improve their food quality according to fees.

Placements: Nearly 40% students gets placed in our college. The pay depends on their ability. WIPRO, GUVI, FURNITURE, TVS, CAPGEMINI etc. Are some of the companies. In my course nearly 60% students gets internship. The college management conducts many competitions.

Overall, the college is average. Average faculty members and poor surroundings.

Placements: There are a lot of placement opportunities in IT companies like Wipro, Zoho, Kart, etc. We are allowed to attend interviews in other Jeppiaar institutions too. But, there are not much placement opportunities for core branches like mechanical, electrical and civil. So, it is better to choose IT and CSE department for placements.

The management of the college is good, and the food provided is the best.

Placements: The college provides good placements as our college is under Sathyabama University. There were 60% of the students from our batch got placed. Reputed MNCs visit the college for placements as it is one of the Jeppiaar institutions. Our institution is better than any other institution in Chennai.

Good college and good placements in 2015.

Placements: A lot got placed in wipro in my batch. There will be placements. Don't keep any backlogs in order to attend it. Mostly it was IT placements not core companies. Good for the IT inspiring students. The average salary of 2.8 Lacs per annum is offered. Mostly it was software related roles. The students with good CGPA will be given priority.

Students here have really good opportunities to explore their knowledge and to get placed.

Placements: To say about placements, it is good and fair. As the IT sector has fallen down since the past few years the choice of students of getting placed has reduced when compared to past few years. But minimum 50% of the students will get placed. The placement cell in our college is quite helpful in making us face the challenges, but when compared to our senior batch the percentage of students placed has increased about 10%. The companies that visited our college are Byju's, Wipro, Systech, Capgemini, M...

Satisfied with studies, food, and discipline but failed to enjoy my college life

Placements: While considering placements, this college plays a moderate role. Various companies like Wipro, HCL, Capero, Kaar Technologies, Spiral Up, Zoho, TVs, Caterpillar, Directi, Kumar System, etc. come for recruitment and they choose a few students by conducting various rounds like written test, programming, personal interview. Out of 500 students, they took only 45-60 on average.

College has improved it infrastructure but yet it has to improve. All department labs are good enough to what you required. Teachers are really supportive and encourage in all aspects and ready to help. There is no canteen as food in college is compulsory. Sports day is there for the sake of name and in cultural day only two days will be given to ready for it. If you’re ultimate goal is to study where teachers are supportive then go for SRR. But if you want to enjoy the college life means then ...

It's a good college and very good infrastructure. I like this college more as they provide food unlimited and NV mostly. Teaching is not that great, should be improved. I think People who want to enjoy their life, this is the best college for them. College is at OMR where you can get more knowledge about Corporate Companies and as it’s in Chennai, students will get all the facilities.
