Placements: Placements are increasing significantly throughout the year. The CSE, IT department has top-level placements in the college. This year 100% of students in the IT department got placement. This year 335 students got full-time offer from top companies and 54 students get internship offers.

Placements: Our college provides very good on-campus placements every year. Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, GFG, TCS, Ericson, and Yellow AI visit our college every year to recruit students. Many of our alumni work at Google, Microsoft, Uber, Disney+Hotstar, and IBM. Around 100% of non-core placements are provided. Students crack internships from the second year at Google, Amazon, Desis Educare, and Microsoft.

Placements: 80% students were placed in our college. But in our department, all the students (100%) are placed. This year the highest package was 44lpa and the lowest was 4.5lpa and the average package was 9.5lpa. Top recruiting companies in our college are Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, and any start-up, etc. All students (100%) got internships from our course in Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Juspay, etc. Top role offered in our course is SWE.

Placements: Specifically from CE and ME branches, almost 70%- 80% of the students get placed. Top recruiting companies like TCS, Larsen & Toubro, Wipro, Amazon, BYJUS, CTS Cognizant, and various MNCs visit the college to hire students. The lowest salary package offered was 7.5 LPA. The average salary package offered was 9.5 LPA. Microsoft, Uber, Amazon, Google, and Swiggy are the top recruiting companies. Approximately 60% of students got internships in companies like Capgemini, Yellow AI, Payatu, etc.

Placements: In the academic year of 2022, our placement rate is 96%. More than 40 companies came into our college like Amazon, Rakuten, Juspay, Jio, Worley, etc. The highest package is 44 LPA, the lowest package 9.44LPA, average package14.2 LPA. Top roles like software engineer, management, etc. are offered.

Placements: Electrical engineering is one of the best branches in Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College. The average package offered in this course is about 7 LPA. For non-core departments, the average package offered is 9.5 LPA in 2018. The highest package offered is 44 LPA in 2018.

Placements: In 2022, Jgec CSE got 100% placements! Two student got into Microsoft. Other companies includes Goldman Sachs, Urban Ladder, Coda Payments etc. The highest package is 44lpa, on+off campus average is 20lpa and on campus average is 9.44lpa. 16 students were given internship in amazon and several of them got full time offers. Placements: Almost 88% of students are placed in our course. Others opt for higher studies. There are various roles offered in our course, like SDE and R&D.

Placements: About 40-45% student got placed during placement programme and about 10-15 % were selected in off campus. Previous year the highest package offered was 33 Lacs and the lowest package was 2.8 Lacs. Top companies like Amazon, cocacola, Tcs, CTS, Hpcl offers internship as well as placement. Placements: This year a total of 96% of students from our college got placed with the highest package of 44 LPA from Microsoft and an average package of 9.51LPA (on-campus) and 20.20 LPA (off-campus). Several companies like Amazon, Juspay, Media. Net, Goldmann Sachs, Netmeds and many more came to our campus for recruitment. Apart from IT companies, core companies like L&T, MN Dastur, Haldia Petrochemicals, Tata Power, Shapoorji Pallonji and many more also visited our campus for recruitment.

The top roles offered are web development, app development, UI-UX, cyber security, artificial intelligence, IoT, and many more. Top recruiters are Microsoft, Google, Cognizant, IBM, Tech Mahindra, etc. Almost everyone gets an internship.

Placements: Placements are good in the CSE branch. Students get placed at companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Uber, TCS, Goldman Sachs, and many more. One of our classmates in second year has already gotten an internship at Google. Twelve of our seniors also got internships at Amazon.

Placements: The placements are really good for IT and CSE but not for core streams. The core streams do have the worst placements ever but if a core student does want to shift to IT then he's most welcome to do so. The placement committee is very helpful and does give you all the information you would want regarding any MNC.

Placements: Almost 70% of the batch got placed in various sectors like IT, Telecom, etc. The highest package was offered by BEL which is 7.6 LPA. Majority of the students got placed in TCS in IT and EIS domains. Five of us got placed in Vodafone Idea Ltd. The average package offered was 3.5 LPA.
