Review of JNTUA College of Engineering, Ananthapuramu.
Placements: 80 percent of students are placed. The highest package is 10 lacs per annum. The average package is 5 Lacs per annum. The recruiting companies are TCS, Kia, Mahindra, and Cognizant. Maximum students got internships. Roles offered are of supervisor, production lead, etc.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure with more than a dozen buildings with good digital classrooms and library is awesome. Here, the library is like a treasure where we hunt the knowledge, and it is pleasant in university. Hostels are there with good mess and proper rooms. Canteen is also there. A small medical hospital is there for emergency purposes.
Faculty: Faculty members are good, and there are professionals in their respective subjects, and they are good in every teaching aspect. Each year consists of 2 semesters, in which the questions are a little bit difficult with 10 subjects in each semester with 4 labs and 6 theory subjects.
Other: Clubs are there like wellness clubs, sports clubs, higher education clubs, fun clubs, peptox clubs, and other clubs. Campus is good with stress and other with 100 acres of land.

Review of JNTUA College of Engineering, Ananthapuramu.
Placements: Almost 35% of our 2024 batch passed out students were placed during the campus placements. Companies like TCS, Accenture, and L&T hire students from our college. 10.2 LPA was the highest package, 3 LPA was the lowest, and 4 LPA was the average package secured by the students. Students won't get internship opportunities in our college; rather, they would search for internships themselves. GET and system engineer were the highest roles offered.
Infrastructure: The college lecture halls, campus, and seminar halls are well-equipped with furniture, projectors, and Wi-Fi facilities. The library has each and every academic material required for the students. The college hostels were neat, the food quality was good, and the menu will be changeable according to the students opinions. Also, the hostel fee was very affordable as well. The college has a medical room with a doctor, a canteen, and a sports playground encouraging talents in all possible corners.
Faculty: Every department has 5-6 professors with M.Tech. and above degrees and more than 10 assistant professors who are very qualified but don't teach according to the students needs. The course curriculum is good; the students who follow it could be great engineers and have a bright future. The semester exam difficulty level will be medium. The pass percentage is around 85%.
Other: As I was aware that the mechanical engineering field can lead to a successful career in design engineering, I've chosen this course. If the teaching methods and the training facilities are good, a number of students may be settled at higher positions from JNTUA, which is not happening at present in our college. The good thing about the college is that it promotes self-learning sports, fun-filled activities, culturals, etc.

If you read it, it definitely helps you.
Placements: 20% of students will definitely get placed in college placements themselves. Other students will get placed off campus, and most students choose higher studies. The highest will be 21 LPA, and the lowest will be 2.5 to 3 LPA. Amazon, TCS, and Wipro are the top recruiters in IT. When it comes to mechanical, L&T and Medha Servo are at the at the top. Every student will get an internship, but it will not be a paid internship. Because most companies will be startups, which makes internships easy. Graduate Trainee is the most common position that students get.
Infrastructure: Lab and workshop facilities for mechanical engineering is quite good in Jntua. Wi-Fi will be available in department and lecture halls but not in hostels. Classes will be taken in lecture hall building which is quite good and ventilated with much space. Library is also good. Mostly students come less to the library so we can sit peaceful to read. ID card is must to enter the library and u can blend the books for 28 days; if we surpass that, we have to pay $6 per book for 1 month. Hostel rooms are okay, but 1st year students have to share their room with 5–6 people, and that number decreases by 1 as we get promoted to the next year. The quality of the food will be nice. Not a thing to bother, I can say. The canteen is not there, but so many outlets will be there for food options when you just get outside of the campus. Ambulance will be there for students to take them to the hospital in case of emergency; otherwise, the dispensary will be there up to nine pm with a doctor and a nurse.
Faculty: Teachers will be qualified with at least a postgraduate degree. The number of professors will be very low when it comes to the department. As in every engineering college, the teachers will help you more than the students. They are helpful if you ask them. You can be industry-ready if you make the projects by yourself and follow every rule; it depends on every individual. But college will be helpful in both ways—to construct yourself or to destroy yourself. Semester exams are not difficult to pass as well as to fail, but they are difficult to get more than 9 points. The pass percentage is higher, like 98% in every class.

Overall, it's a good college to pursue engineering.
Placements: Almost 20-25% of students were placed in campus placements for the 2024 passed-out batch of Mechanical Engineering. The lowest package was 3.36 LPA, and the highest was 7 LPA. L&T, TCS, and Accenture were the major recruiters during our period. No students got internship opportunities through campus, so they had to find internships through their contacts. The highest role offered to a fresh Mechanical Engineering graduate was Graduate Engineer Trainee.
Infrastructure: Every department’s lecture halls, seminar halls, and the central library have Wi-Fi. The canteen was recently closed. The newly built lecture hall complex has good infrastructure, including a projector. The library holds a large volume of books, magazines, and journals. The hostel facility at JNTUA is excellent due to its good quality, affordability, and cleanliness. The college has a separate medical building and a large playground for both indoor and outdoor sports.
Faculty: The teaching faculty are highly qualified with master's degrees and Ph.D.'s. However, only some teachers mentor and help students, while others just teach for the sake of attendance. I believe self-learning is important to thrive in universities. The curriculum is well-structured, with about an 80% overlap with the GATE syllabus, offering students a brighter future. The difficulty of the end-semester exams ranges from easy to medium, and the pass percentage for our batch was around 85%. However, for the junior batches, the pass rate dropped as students with lower qualifications are choosing core branches in universities, believing it to be more beneficial.
Other: I got a good rank in the AP EAMCET exam, and being from Dharmavaram, a nearby town, JNTUA was my first option. I chose this branch as I met the cutoff. Mechanical Engineering is an excellent field, covering design, aerospace, automobile, and machining concepts. Mastering these areas will make you a renowned engineer. It would be better if students were trained from the second year onwards to become industry-ready and improve communication skills. The institute organizes events year-round like College Day, Sports Day, department fests, and Information Day. It also encourages students to participate in community activities such as NSS and NCC, providing good societal exposure.

Since, according to information provided, your rank is 95th, that is under 100. You'll easily get admission in any of your desired colleges accepting APECET. Moreover, in the top colleges, you might get CSE or M.Tech other than B.Tech. Best of luck.
