The top college with all the required abilities.

Placements: There were many software companies, which were interested in all branches like Accenture, TCS, Zoho, Oracle, and some of the core companies like Vedanta and Attibir. Regarding the core placements, there will not be any assurance because of the experience that is needed in that field, so the companies do not opt for the engineering colleges instead they go for M.Tech students. You can be easily placed in the IT field if you work a little bit harder. So, in the end, you can be placed if you work a...

Brief of JNTUHCEH : satisfied - good placements for 2014-15 and average infrastructure.

Placements: The placements in our batch were great. All time high specially for Mechanical Engineering. A lot of the credit does go to our previous batch students who joined their campus selected companies. Around 80-90% placement was reached if you include IT or non-core jobs. Core jobs would stand at 35-40%. The highest package was 13.5 LPA (CTC), the lowest was 2.5 LPA (CTC) and on an average around 4LPA (CTC). Internships were very few but the one that beats them all was the BOEING externship for 2 stud...

It was great to become an engineer.

Placements: The placements were offered only for merits, and 5% job opportunities are there. It is tough to survive with the competition. It depends on how you focus towards your career. You can have great future outside if you have a good score. Learn a couple of designing software, and you will definitely get a job.

A great technological university, but they don't use technology in the college (Not up to the par).

Placements: We are a batch of 61 students, and the primary placements for our batch were IT and software company placements. The list of companies that we (seniors also except Vedanta) are eligible (Metallurgical Engineering) is Tata Consultancy Services, Accenture, Zoho Corporation, Oracle cloud, Vedanta Aluminum. The percentage of the students placed out of 61 students ae 42% (25 students are placed). The highest salary offered is 7.95 LPA by Vedanta Limited - Aluminium & Power. The average salary offered...

Dissatisfied that much but one must improve self-preparation.

Placements: UGC introduced IDP course and AICTE did not approve this course. IDP students have fewer opportunities when compared with the regular B.Tech course, but the core companies offer more package to IDP students when compared to the regular B.Tech. The salary offered to the students was in between 3 to 8 LPA. Both the core and software companies visit the campus for the placements. Around, 40% of the students got the internship.

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty and facilities.

Placements: The placements are very frequent and good. Many companies visit the college for recruiting jobs. Big MNCs come to college, and our students get most of the government jobs. The companies like Microsoft, Google, BHEL, etc. give jobs. The government companies also visit.

Good college but only for the students of good EAMCET rank holders.

Placements: The placements in the college is also good as compared to many other colleges. Nearly 60% of the students got placed in our senior batch to my knowledge, and in our present batch, the placements are going on. Many companies like TCS, L&T, Infosys, and many multinational companies recruit from this college.

A good and nice place to learn and make our future.

Placements: The university gives huge scope to the students by offering a wide variety of corporate and government agencies to place their students. Most of the private agencies include L&T, Jaiprakash associates, Lanco Infratech, Reliance Infratech. 3 of our seniors have got placed in Lanco and L&T Metro Constructions. Their pay scales fluctuate between Rs. 35,000 to Rs. 45,000 per month. They are offered jobs in the positions of site engineers.

Placements: The placements were quite good. Around 80% were being placed every year. The package will be ranging from 3.5 LPA to 15 LPA. 100% internships are provided by the college. Some of the companies involved are TCS, Tech Mahindra, L&T, Tata, etc. It's good in the view of placements.

We have full freedom in campus to acquire the knowledge.

Placements: The placements are good for the IT sector. But the students who are placed from the core are less. As students need M.Tech degree from the civil engineering point of view, the civil companies are not interested to hire students from the B.Tech colleges, but we can attend its companies placements. Last year, overall 78 IT companies hired students from all branches. In the civil department, 80% of the students got placed in their core sector. An overview of JNTUH College of Engineering, Hyderabad

Placements: Not many offers come to civil, but IT companies do hire people from all streams. For CSE students, you will get few good opportunities and you need to prove and grab them. ECE, EEE and mechanical do get good placements with many other offers in core department also. Civil engineering gets a few core companies like L&T but they take very few while others get placed in IT companies.

Excellent infrastructure and average placements.

Placements: As we're from a non-technical branch, JNTUH CEH Metallurgical Engineering Department has "0" Core companies. As we're studying in reputed college like JNTUH, some IT companies like TCS, Accenture etc., are allowing to participate in the campus selection. So if you want to join in this department and have interest in IT it's one of the best options since some other colleges do not allow core branch students in IT company placements.

Placements: There are software companies more than core companies offering a job for BTech students of metallurgy in our college JNTU. There should be more than 65% getting a job in those companies both software and core, however, software companies would prefer students with more percentage but the government companies would satisfy with at least 65%. Placements: There are placements in our college, but most of them are in IT only. Major recruiters of our college are TCS and Oracle. From a class of 60 students, only 15 of them are placed in core companies in mechanical. The average package per annum in our college is 4 lakhs and the highest package in our college in the year 2016-17 was 12 lakhs per annum.

Good faculty and infrastructure as compared to the fee but a low placement record.

Placements: The placement is not so good over there as in Hyderabad usually the universities are managed by the government, so the tuition fee is less and they focus on studies only. However, there is a placement team which takes care of the placement and internships. A couple of companies like Wipro, TCS and Excel come regularly for placements however mainly small and local companies are responsible for placements so the package amount is less. Placements: No core placements are present in JNTU, unless you are on the main university campus. The companies which mostly visited are BPOs and consultancy companies. The maximum placed students would be not greater than 35% in mechanical engineering. The average package is 2.8 lacs, the highest would be 4.2 lacs and the lowest is 1.6 lacs. When it refers to internships, all are off-campus with no stipend.
