Q:   I got 14513 rank in TS EAMCET (obc). Can I get seat in JNTUH.

A:
Based on the previous year's cutoff, a rank of 14513 in TS EAMCET under the OBC category may not be sufficient to get a seat in the B.Tech programs at JNTUH. However, the cutoff varies every year, and it is difficult to predict the exact cutoff for the current academic year. The cutoff for admission to the B.Tech programs at JNTUH through TS EAMCET varies every year and depends on various factors such as the number of applicants, the difficulty level of the exam, the availability of seats, and the category of the candidate. It is difficult to predict the exact cutoff for the current academic year. However, based on the previous year's cutoff, the minimum TS EAMCET rank required for admission to the B.Tech programs at JNTUH was around 20,000 to 25,000 for the general category, and for the OBC category, the cutoff was around 30,000 to 35,000. Please note that the cutoff varies every year, and it is advisable to check the official website of JNTUH or the TS EAMCET counselling website for the latest cutoff ranks. Also, meeting the cutoff rank does not guarantee admission to the programme as the final seat allotment depends on the availability of seats, the candidate's preference, and other factors.

All about my college life.
Placements: Almost 74% of students are placed from our course. The highest salary package offered is 45 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA. Top recruiters are TCS, Amazon, Deloitte and more. Almost 65% of students are placed in top companies only.
Infrastructure: My department is ECE. Infrastructure of our department is nice. We have good classrooms and labs are equipped with good facilities also. We have separate library in our department and we have almost all books in library. Coming to hostel, I'm not a hosteler so I don't know about that.
Faculty: Coming to faculty members, all professors who teach students are well-educated only. All faculty members are very helpful and friendly with students. Coming to exams, internal exams are somewhat easy. But coming to semester exams they are not easy we should refer to many textbooks.

The Good Government University.
Placements: Around 50% are placed in our course. The highest is around 45 LPA, and the average is around 6-10 LPA. We get fewer internships in our college. But there are some semiconductor industries interested in our department. We need to go to another outside company, which is a better option.
Infrastructure: The campus is huge and has been old. In case the building is not renewed, the classes, labs, and libraries are quite good enough for the students. We get Wi-Fi access in our hostels, which is a favorable factor, and the mess is good.
Faculty: The teachers are quite helpful, highly qualified, and provide knowledge very well. In my opinion, the quality of teaching is good enough for the college. The course curriculum is good in making it relevant for students and industry-ready, and the examinations are quite hard, really difficult, and the pass percentage is about 75%.
Other: I have chosen the course on my own interest, to study in ECE. I wanted to work in the core sector departments of the defence ministry, and the course is quite helpful for me. I play basketball on our campus.

The events in the college are actually good.
Placements: The top roles offered from our electrical and electronics branch are from the core side. The least was about 4 LPA and the highest was around 15 LPA. More than 50 percent got placed. The GPA of all the students is low, so it is difficult for the companies which come.
Infrastructure: Classrooms: Spacious, well-lit, and ventilated classrooms with modern teaching aids like LCD projectors, sound systems, and blackboards. Laboratories: Well-furnished laboratories with advanced instruments and apparatus. Library: A library with e-resources. Auditorium: A venue for conferences, workshops, seminars, and other events. Administration block: A well-designed block with offices for the principal, vice principal, HODs, faculty, and other staff.
Faculty: When you get targeted by the faculty, it is difficult to pass that particular exam. The semester exams are conducted strictly. The syllabus does not get completed for the examinations. We should make sure to prepare by ourselves. The pass percentage is less as the evaluators always think to fail us.
Other: Nothing much to say about the course. Except the classes everything else is good.

If not IIT or NIT, JNTUH is there for us to fulfill our dreams.
Placements: CSE and CSE specialisation branches have very high placements. The average salary package offered is 13 LPA and the highest salary package offered is 55 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA. About 86% of students get placed. ECE and EEE students also have very good placements in numbers and placements. Many companies offer good roles in their respective fields.
Infrastructure: The campus is very good. Each department has separate blocks. It offers every facility like labs, Wi-Fi, etc. Hostels are also good but still need to be improved. The canteen also needs to be improved. The university provides free medical services to students which is very great to hear. Sports, games, and everything are also encouraged. Tournaments are also conducted. There is a separate indoor stadium. There is also a gym with restricted time only morning from 5 AM to 8 AM and evening from 6 PM to 8 PM.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good. Their teaching skills are also very adaptable to our brains. The quality of teaching is top-notch. Students who are in their respective fields can achieve well in life with the knowledge provided by our university. Semester exams are difficult because they are very tough in standards. We have to prepare well and get more than 8.5 CGPA, which is a tough deal. Faculty members are good. They are PhD holders. Their guidance and teaching way are really good. They are really helpful to grow up in a career.
Other: I am interested in the cybersecurity field so I have chosen this course. From my EAPCET rank, it is the best choice. Some parts of the campus can be improved in infrastructure. Events and fests are conducted once in year. The campus crowd is high. Everywhere there are a lot of students which is very joyful to watch. Scholarships are also provided by the state government. Some private scholarships are also acceptable. Extracurricular activities are also included on campus like clubs for dance, art lectures, etc.

It is an excellent college to improve and learn perfectly.
Placements: Placements are just good. The percentage of students who got placed in mechanical engineering is above 7.5%. The highest salary package offered is 11 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies like General Electric, Bosch, ABB Group, etc., visit the college for placements.
Infrastructure: Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University College in the mechanical engineering course provides modern laboratories, good facilities, and a library to read and improve knowledge. The hostel in my review is average. The mess available in the hostel is not bad.
Faculty: Faculty members are excellent. They encourage us to improve our knowledge. The teaching quality is average, but some faculty members' teaching is perfect. Semester exams are difficult. We are now in R22 regulations. According to R22 regulations, we have to write 2 mid-term exams and get average marks.
Other: Our batch is good at conducting all activities like events, fests, etc.

Jntu has provided many opportunities to enhance skills.
Placements: So far, about 80% of the students in my course have been placed. The highest package was 24 LPA, the average was 8 LPA, and the lowest was 3 LPA. The top recruiting company was Goldman Sachs. My college also offered some machine learning and other roles.
Infrastructure: The hostel food is nice, and the sports and games are good. They conduct sports regularly and encourage the students by giving rewards and gifts. On the negative side, there is much to improve, such as the Wi-Fi and computers, which need to be updated. Also, the library is good enough, but the quality of the hostel food is not as good as we expected.
Faculty: The faculty may teach us what is in the book, but we don't get much knowledge from that. We must explore things on our own, and the faculty is not good enough to help us do that. The curriculum is quite nice, though, and if we follow it, we may be ready for the fourth year. The semester exams are much more difficult, as it is JNTUH, and the pass percentage is about 75%.
Other: I am interested in computer science, so I chose to study it. I think coding is very interesting, and it is the best thing about the course. However, the computers in our labs need to be improved and updated. Also, we don't have enough funds to conduct events, so only a few events are held each year.
