A review of JNTUH College of Engineering, Hyderabad.

Placements: Placements are good only for the circuital branches. I still haven't experienced the placement process as I'm yet to complete one more semester. The minimum salary package offered is 3 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is more than 12 LPA. As far as placements are concerned, the college is good. However, the college is not that good if you consider the rest of the aspects.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the college.

Placements: There are not so many placements. Only 50% was placed. Most of them eould be startup companies. The average salary offered by all most all the companies is 15000. the highest salary would be around 30000 (thirty thousand rupees only). Average chances.

IDP course in JNTUH College is worst better to join in good reputed private college with that rank

Placements: I am from IDP ( Civil + MBA ), Frankly speaking we IDP students did not get or eligible for any of the core companies except for the CSE students. Though I am from civil background I got selected in TCS because it is open for all branches. Some of the companies rejected us as we are IDP students because we don't have AICTE approval.

Good faculty and infrastructure as compared to the fee but a low placement record.

Placements: The placement is not so good over there as in Hyderabad usually the universities are managed by the government, so the tuition fee is less and they focus on studies only. However, there is a placement team which takes care of the placement and internships. A couple of companies like Wipro, TCS and Excel come regularly for placements however mainly small and local companies are responsible for placements so the package amount is less. Usually, the package is around 2 lakhs to 2.96 lakhs. The inte...

A government college with few faculty members. No placements.

Placements: There were no placements for our batch and seniors. There is a placement wing but they don't care about the training. Few students got placed with a package of 3-4.5 lakhs per annum. All the students who were placed are from ECE and CSE background. Neither of the students is from the civil and mechanical branches.

College life was good and there were no timings to enter the campus. There were no stringent rules and regulations. Students from all cities were there in our campus. The placements were good and the average package offered was rupees 3.2 lakhs and about 75% students got placed from the college itself. The faculty was of a mixed bag and were helpful and were very knowledgeable. Labs were properly equipped with equipment. The fests were also awesome.

It would be better if the college try to provide placements in core companies.

Placements: Only 5% of the students got placed in our course. The average salary package offered was around 3 LPA. TCS was the top recruiting company. Around 50% of the students got internships. The role offered was trainee engineer for some people. There are not many good placements for our course.

A bit average infrastructure, but really good faculty and placements.

Placements: A good number of companies visit our college. 90% of the students get placed by the end of the course. Coming to the highest package, it fluctuates every year. This year the highest package was 14 LPA from our branch, the lowest package was 3 LPA, and the average package was around 5 LPA.

Good college with lots of encouragement to learn new things but lacks in teaching .

Placements: Though not all got paced in the area of their interest and few among us placed in software companies and few were left empty hands. Hostel boys are very active in activities of college and sports. They enjoy at the top of the level. 70percentage of students got placed.

It has good placements for non-core branches but not so good placements for core branches.

Placements: Around 25% of the students from civil engineering batch got placed. In our course, the highest salary package offered was 5.25 LPA, the lowest salary package offered was 3.25 LPA and the average salary package offered was around 4 LPA. Tata Projects Limited is the top recruiting company of our college. A role like an assistant manager in Tata Projects Limited is offered to the students. Around 20% to 30% of the students got an internship.

An average college to study in.

Placements: Placement is available only for namesake no real placements here. The college is also not that good it is only a normal college. And the syllabus is also too tough you don't know about the exam here in tough and to clear a paper is the toughest thing to do.

Placements in our college are bad for our branch.

Placements: Our senior batches had good placements as lots of core company visited the college to recruit students. But for our batch, until now, only one company visited, so placements are very less for our branch. We asked our principle about placements, and he told he would try his level best to provide placements.
