The infrastructure is old but you'll ended up being a good human from this college.
Placements: In my course around 70 students are studying. there's no package offered in the college. Students have to intership individually, the college does not provide it. I'm a sociology student and later on I want to study as a social worker so mostly the NGO's will recruiting the most of the jobs.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is not that good but they provide a lot of facilities like they have a central library but some department has their own library also. I'm not a hosteler but according to some sources we came to know that their food is good. The college also has a medical room in the campus.
Faculty: The facilities are very friendly and highly qualified professionals. They owns their own method of teaching. About the curriculum, currently I'm pursuing FYUGP so there's lot of subjects included and it's compulsory to study. Sometimes it's a bit tough to maintain good marks in all the subjects but these subjects helps us to learn new things instead of going in the same flow.
Other: I choose this course because I wanted to study it. Besides jorhat college is very well known for it's department of sociology. Therefore I wanted to take admission in this course. As a improvisation the campus can be improved more . They organised a lot of events for the students. They also provide scholarship . Extracurricular activities are sports, dancing, singing, weight lifting, and lot more.

Really good faculty members with nice environment.
Placements: This college does not have placement facilities and doesn't promise job placement. It's just a regular college with a good environment.
Infrastructure: The hostel facilities are only available for girls and are located inside the college campus. The hostel is very vast, and the ecosystem is very good. The warden of the hostel is good and allows students to leave the hostel during the day until 5 pm. The college has good infrastructure, and the classrooms are very clean.
Faculty: The faculty at this college are very good and provide scholarships for backward students, especially ST and SC students. Admission is free for ST and SC students. The teachers are cooperative and kind-hearted and provide us with a great deal of knowledge. The main building, called Rusa Bhawan, houses the offices. The teachers should be commended for their kindness and helpfulness.
Other: I am pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in English at this college. I chose this college because it is one of the best colleges in the Jorhat district for this subject.
