Location wise, a better college than any other college of AKTU.

Placements: There are no placements for civil and mechanical branch students. Unless you are in computer science or IT or EC branch student, you will not get any placement. On-campus placement is very low. The companies like TCS, Kronos, Tech Mahindra come to this college and offer a decent package to the students who score more than 80% in all the four years separately.

Overall, average college infra and extracurricular activities are below average

Placements: Very low placements in core and non-IT branches. Civil and mechanical like branches have very little placements. Computer science and IT branch have around 70% placements with an average package of 3 to 4 lacs. In the 2016-17 session, the highest package is 13.5 lacs.

I was satisfied with the spacious infrastructure. It was a satisfying learning experience.

Placements: The placements in my college were good. Many of the companies like Infosys came for mass recruitment, and there were different kinds of roles offered like software assistant and executive as well. If I talk about the average stipend, then that is difficult to explain because some of the companies were offering more but the vacancy was less, and vice-versa.

Good infrastructure, perfect faculty. One can easily develop his/her skills.

Placements: The placements are just okay, not that good. The placements of computer science students are 100%. Some of the students of IT branch also got placements. But if we do good in curriculum activities and study with full dedication, then surely we can get placements easily.

Overall, college is good. Teachers are good and supportive. Placements are good for IT branches.

Placements: Here in JSS Academy of Technical Education, the placement scenario is better than other AKTU affiliated colleges. For the branches of computer science and information technology (IT), placement is very good. For these branches, the average package goes around 3.5-6 lacs per annum. The highest package was of Rs.13.5 lpa offered to 2 students of computer science department by Kronos. Last year, the highest package was 12.5 lacs. Even the students belonging to EC department get an average package o...

Good infrastructure and facilities

Placements: Placement was very good. I was placed in two top-notch companies PAYTM and Infoedge. Apart from these, other companies which came to our college are TCS, Adobe, Tech-M, Aricent. The average package provided was around 3.5 lakhs. A majority of companies provide technical profiles such as system developer and tester.

Good infrastrucure and facilites

Placements: The college provides decent placements. Companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra, Aricent, Infoedge and Paytm come to our college. AON offered one of the highest packages in our college. The highest package offered was 7.8 lakhs, the lowest package was 2.8 lakhs and the average package in our college is 3.25 lakhs.

Dissatisfied because of no placement for civil engineering students.

Placements: The placement of core branches is not good. The college doesn't bring companies for core branches. If you opt for computer science or information technology, then you will definitely get placement in well-reputed IT companies. The average package would be 2.5 to 4 lakhs per annum.

Somewhat satisfied with infrastructure. Not satisfied with placements 2017.

Placements: 20% of the students of my batch were placed. The highest package was 2.5 lakhs and the lowest package was 1.5 lakhs. The roles offered were of a software engineer. 40% of the students got an internship from the college. No stipend was given. Companies visiting were Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, etc.

I'm satisfied with the infrastructure of the college.

Placements: Many companies conduct their drives on the campus but many of them are software based and offer around Rs. 2 to 4 lpa. Some mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, etc. also come to the college. They prefer students having no running backlogs and having 65 or more percentage class 10th onwards.

Placement is good but faculty is not so good.

Placements: Placement is very good. Minimum 80% students are placed every year. In my senior batch, almost all the students are placed. And almost all the students got good packages. Overall, we can say that this college is good for placements. In senior batch, almost 90% students got on-campus and 10% got off-campus placements. So it is a good college for placements.

JSS is a place to learn and cherish.

Placements: It provides good placements in all the branches. It is in a nice location so easy opportunities and a good exposure to the current scenario. One can get easily placed if he has the capability within. Placements depend on your Curriculum Vitae, internships and obviously your percentage.

Satisfied with the atmosphere, however not much as expected. Job opportunities are there.

Placements: Companies like Kronos, HCL, Indian Army, Samsung, TCS, Indian Navy, Mahindra, etc. visit the campus every year. Placements of average 5-6 lakhs were there last year with highest getting nearly 18-20 lakhs on campus and 30 lakhs off-campus. Companies do visit regularly and the training and placement cell of the college is working to enhance this rate.

Average placements and good infrastructure.

Placements: Not so good in placement. But it actually depends on an individual that what he/she has done in the college life. Students from computer science and IT get maximum placements as compared to mechanical or other core branches and civil has the minimum placement offers. The placement of MBA or MCA is not as good as B.Tech.

Good infrastructure, decent faculty and average placement.

Placements: Placements were not so good for my college. IT companies that came for the majority of the streams included Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Birla Soft and others. The average salary hovered between 3.20-3.50 lakhs per annum. For the civil stream, companies like L&T came but recruited only a handful of students. As a result, a majority of the overall students remained unplaced. No internship system as such from the college. Students are expected to find internships through their own resources. However,...

Satisfied with the college with respect to today's scenario of engineering colleges in India.

Placements: Placement is really good for CS, IT, IC and EC branches but not so good for core branches like EE and ME. The lowest package is 2.5 lacs while the highest is up to 12 lacs per annum. Samsung, IBM, Wipro, TCS, Torrent Power etc. companies visit for placement. Generall, they offer graduate engineering training posts. Almost 80-90% students got an internship.

The faculty needs to update their teaching methods and strictness on attendance must be reduced.

Placements: The placements in JSS are above average. I mean they are better than other UPTU colleges. Tech Mahindra visits the campus first and is the mass recruiter. Infosys also comes at times but during my final year, it black listed JSS. After that, companies like Cronos, Newgen, Infoedge, MarkIT visited the campus. Students of Computer Science, IT are easily placed. A few of Electronics & Communication get placed. But there is no placement scope for Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing Technology, IC ...

A great college for studying but the campus is not good.

Placements: Talking about placement in JSSATEN, it is very fluctuating every year. The core branches like civil and mechanical suffer a lot as the core companies never visit the college as a result of which, most of the students have to be placed in some of the IT companies with a very low package. The maximum package on campus by far has been 6 lakhs approximately. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Infosys and other software solution companies visited the college. If you are going for a private college affiliated with AKTU then this college will be the right one.

Placements: Placements in my batch are very disappointing. Only 15 students out of 61 are placed till February end. The average package of my branch is 2.9 LPA and the highest is 3.25 LPA. The other branches like computer science and information technology have got a high percentage of placement with some decent salaries. The highest package to the CS branch students was offered is 12 LPA. The most important thing is that out of 15 placed students, there were 5 students placed in a core company but with a m...

A good college if your primary aim is studies only, not for creative mind.

Placements: Approximately, all the students get placement in a TCS, but very less are going to high scale placement. Nowadays, getting placement in 3rd year is impossible. Everyone gets a placement if he/she scores 70% or above. The average salary is 3.5 lakhs per annum. There is e-cell in our college where all the skilled students get the internships.
