Placements: 75% students were placed. The highest salary -15.5lpa the lowest salary- 3lpa Top recruiting companies - TCS, cognizant, Wipro, Gradeup, NTT data, RTDS, paytm 10% internships offered in 2019 with PPO. Best placements for CS/IT only. Then comes ECE and MBA. Others have to survive on pool placements.
Placements: About 10% of students from our course got placed, and no companies came for core branches. Students who were placed are only those who attended for mass recruiters. In our college, no companies visit for core branches, and roles are not useful. I don't have an idea of the highest, and the lowest packages and students got placed in mass recruiters got an average salary package of 3.5 LPA. Students don't prefer an internship.
Placements: I was in batch 2015-2019. Our batch faced the worse placement of all time. No top recruiting company came to our college. Most students got placed in tcs and cognizant which was off campus. The highest package was of 6 LPA and the lowest was of 1.8 LPA (unbelievable).
Placements: As a final year student talking about the placements in our college, they offer a decent one if you are talking about CS/IT branch. Till now approximately 30-40 % of the students have been placed in the start of the academic year itself. Top recruiting companies for our branch are KRONOS, GRADEUP, TCS, NEWGEN, LYBSIS and the salary offered ranges from 15.35 - 3.5 LPA. Also talking about the internships approximately 60-70 % of the students GOT internships in various companies based on there know...
Placements: Only 5% of the students got placed from EE branch. The salary package offered was range from 3 to 3.5 LPA. Wipro, Trianz and Tech Mahindra were the top recruiting companies of our course. None of the students got internships from EE branch. The salary packages offered were good for CS, EC and IT branch. Almost every student got placed from these branches. The highest salary package offered in our course was 12 LPA, and the average salary package offered was around 3.5 LPA.
Placements: Placements at JSS are not good. Electrical branch students get to attend drives of IT companies like Wipro, Tech Mahindra, etc. Almost 10-12 out of 120-130 students got placed in IT companies. Salary packages offered by these companies is about 3 LPA. Even the placement rate of CS and IT branches is around 50%.
Placements: Placements for electrical engineering are not much high. About 30% of the students were placed, which is very less compared to the placements offered by contemporary colleges. There is little to no placement training provided for students. Hence, the placement rate is low.
Placements: I am preparing for the government job. The placements for the electrical engineering department are moderate, but the placements are good for the students of the EC and IT departments. Students need to get an academic score of 65% to sit in placements. We also have special classes for personality development and to prepare for interviews. The college helps the students to get placed.
Placements: In 2015, only one specific civil company visited our college and recruited only three students out of 120 students. Rest of the students were allowed to sit in only one mass recruiting IT based company's drive. In 2016, not even a single company visited our college for recruiting. But students were allowed to participate in the placements conducted by Tech Mahindra. No student got internship opportunity on campus.
Placements: Placements were disastrous for the students of ECE department. Don't even imagine to get placed in a core ECE company. Only 35% of students were placed, and that too in IT companies like Tech Mahindra and Aricent. Roles offered were of software engineers only. An IT company offered the highest salary package. The highest salary package offered was around 7 LPA, and the average salary package offered was around 3.50 LPA. Don't even try to calculate the salary package of ECE department students.
Placements: Placements could have been better given the advantage of the location of the college. All the years I've studied there, the same set of companies used to visit the college for placements. The placement cell could have put more efforts in inviting companies like TCS and Infosys, which did not come for many years. The highest salary package offered was 7.3 LPA by Innovacer and the lowest salary package offered was 2.8 LPA by Fiserv.
Placements: Not many placements are offered to the mechanical students, only a few students might got placed from our college. The same was the case with my senior batch. CS and IT branches have good placements. The package offered was not good, it was approximately Rs. 20,000-25,000 per month. This college is more like a school. The only way for the students to get placed is to clear GATE exam by attending coaching classes outside.
Placements: Placements in the IT sector were decent. Students were placed in Adobe and Ericsson with CTC close to 9 LPA to 10 LPA. Mass recruiters were Deloitte, Infosys and Tech Mahindra. Average package offered was around 4 LPA. Non-IT field students were placed eventually according to their domain, but the average CTC offered for them was around 3 LPA.
Placements: The placement scenario in our college is not much good but better than other UPTU colleges. The mass recruiters hire a maximum number of students. A better percentage of students got placed from our batch than our seniors for sure as many mass recruiters visite our college for our batch. Hardly 2-3 reputed visit for placements, but it depends on students only to get dream salary packages. The placement cell is not caring for students, so students are trying to get placed on themselves. There are...
Placements: Placement was below average Only 1 student got campus placement out of strength of 59 the highest was 21k p. m. in marketing the lowest offered was 8k per month And on internship part only 2 co. was invited and 1 of them offered job to male students instead of providing internship.
Placements: The placements are on the lower side, especially for the mechanical branch. The students go for GATE exam and other government exams so that they can get the job after graduation. Some core companies visit the campus only for female candidates. The placements for the computer science/IT is quite good, and there was an offer of above 12 LPA.
Placements: The placement rate is very less in my batch. Just 20% of the students got placed. The highest salary offered is up to 7 LPA, but the average salary is up to 3 LPA only. Around 40% of the students got the internships from the college without any stipend. The companies like Timex, TCS, Wipro, Indian navy, Ashok Leyland, etc. visited the campus.
Placements: The average package for computer science ranges between 3-4 lpa. The major recruiters were Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Infosys, etc. Apart from these, the local Delhi and Noida based companies visited. The highest package offered was about 8 lpa. All the above average students do get placements without any hassles.
Placements: Very few placements this year. No core companies visited the college. Only a very few students are placed from the electrical branch and that too in IT sector. What's the point of doing B.Tech from core branches if the job is in IT sector? The placement management is very poor.
Placements: The college ensures placement to around 60% of the students. The highest package is around 10 LPA but the average package is around 3 LPA only. The placement scenario is favorable for computer science and information technology but not for other branches. The placement for our pass out batch 2016 was relatively better. Significant companies visiting campus for CS/IT include Kronos, Ion, Info Edge, etc. Mass recruiters include TCS, Wipro, etc. which offer 3.3 LPA as the salary. Unfortunately, the...
