A good place for self learners, not very good infrastructure and faculty.

Placements: Placements for CS/IT branch are satisfactory for an average student (60% + scorer). Non-CS-IT companies rarely visit so there is very less chance for a student to be placed at a good company. IT companies like Kronos and Ions also offer packages like 7-8 LPA. Tech M, TCS and Wipro tend to offer 3-3.5 LPA but since recent years, the mass recruiters do not prefer visiting the college. Roles like that of a software developer, trainee, and web developer are common. Looking towards the internship, i...

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the faculty, placements are good for CS and IT departments only.

Placements: Placements are good for CS and IT departments but not for the other departments. The salary they offer is very low and due to the management of the college, many companies have blacklisted the college. The college actually doesn't try to call in the companies for placements.

Unsatisfactory placements considering the number of students.

Placements: Placements during my tenure were average. The majority of the students placed were from computer science, information technology and electronics & communication engineering. Average CTC offered ranged from 2.75 to 3 LPA whereas the highest package offered was around 8 LPA. Some of the major recruiters were Tech Mahindra, TCS, CSC, Kronos, etc.

Good for CS and IT branch. Bad for other branches.

Placements: The placement for CS and IT branch is very good. There were around 250 students in CS and IT and more than 200 got placed. The placement for other branches was far below expectation. Hardly any company visited for other branches. The highest package was given by ION trading 10.5 LPA. Three students were placed in ION. The other companies which offered good package were Infoedge and Kronos Three mass recruiters visited the campus which are TCS, Tech Mahindra and Wipro. They collectively took mor...

JSS is not upto the mark but yet better than other AKTU private colleges.

Placements: I joined the college considering the placement records it had in the past years. But with the year unfolding the placements were reduced. Although software companies were yet coming in bulk and CS and IT had almost 100% placements. We also had to compromise by sitting in those software companies that did the mass hiring. As far as core companies are concerned, it was very disappointing for us that very few or no core companies arrived for hiring. I being from Manufacturing Technology branch ca...

JSS has a vibrant campus and crowd but the placement cell is not up to the mark.

Placements: Placements scenario is very bad in JSS. Very few companies have come this year and there is only one mass recruiter. TCS refused to come and tech m. blacklisted us. No company comes for civil and hardly any company have come for mechanical, electrical and IC braches. Most of the companies come for CS/IT followed by EC.

A good college after all IITs, NITs, and other reputed colleges (BITS, etc)

Placements: Placements are not that great as compared to other reputed colleges as good companies doesn't visit JSS and other similar colleges. Although, placements are totally dependent on your calibre and smart study. Quite good companies like Infosys, TCS, Wipro, and some other small visits here giving a maximum package of 8 lakhs. Internships were not majorly offered and no support for them from JSS.

The college supports cultural activities and events. Sports and games are not promoted by the college. The crowd is mediocre. The campus space is not well utilized and the canteen food is just fine. The placement scope in civil engineering is not much as the core branch companies don't visit the campus.

JSSATEN which is better known as JSS academy of technical Education, Noida is a private college affiliated to AKTU, Lucknow (formerly UPTU). It is one of the top ranked colleges in UP known for its campus placements, especially for computer science branch and the quality of students studying in it. The students studying here are more diligent as compared to other private colleges in the state. The placements of CSE and IT branches are outstanding but with respect to core branches, there are fewe...

If you get the inside hostel then your life is easy otherwise your life is hell outside. And there is politics for hostel. Most of the male faculty is less experienced. Mess is good. Somehow if you ended up there then start doing preparation by yourself right now for your career.

JSS Academy of Technical education is located in the heart of Noida, Sector- 62, flanked by companies in the ever growing industrial hub. The campus comprises of a football/cricket ground, basketball courts, food court and 2 car parking. The buildings have spacious classrooms and the faculty is dedicated enough. This college is not up to the mark in quality of teaching. Lab instructors do not teach well. Classes are not conducted as per schedule. Placement is pathetic and no good companies visit the college. Majority of the placements happen in pool campus in some other college, where preference is given to their college students. Pre-placement preparation is also unsatisfactory. Even though the campus facilities and exposure which it provides through its events is fabulous; the Placements are only aver...

College is fine, faculty members are friendly but placement record is not so good. Though department of computer science promises placements, other departments needs to work on this. Library is good and overall infrastructure of the college is satisfactory. Faculty is good and friendly. Events are organized at regular intervals but the quality of events is not of very high standard. I would say that the college still needs to work out a lot on its overall management.
