JSS Noida Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,

Placements: The placements were good 3 years back but since then the placements have been degraded. Earlier, we use to have 25 companies but now they are reduced to just 15 and that too, they are hiring very few students. The placement cell has to be changed because they just sit there and do nothing for their students.

Placements: The placements are quite good for CS/IT/EC, etc. but not so good for ME/CE/EE, etc. Companies like Times, Saint-Gobain, etc. visited the college campus for placements. The maximum package goes up to 8 lacs in mechanical engineering. aMost of my seniors went for off-campus placements, some opted for GATE/ PSUs and a few opted for MBA and civil services examination.

Placements: There are good placements in computer science, IT and almost all the core branches except for civil. The average salary is about 4-5 lakhs per annum. About 80% students got placed. TCS, Infosys, Wipro, etc. recruit the students. Students get internship according to their knowledge and interest.

Placements: The placement of our college goes up to 7 to 8 lakhs per annum for core branches. But for CS and IT branches, it goes higher. The minimum package is 12 lakhs per annum. Many companies visit our college per year like TCS, Infosys, Ambuja Cement, Tech Mahindra and much more.

Placements: The placements in JSS College are better than other private colleges in NCR. The average package was 3.25 lakhs last year and the highest package was 12 lakhs per annum. About 82% students were placed last year. Companies like HCL, Wipro, TCS, Kronos, ION Trade, etc. come in JSS almost every year. Overall, if you are ready to work hard, you will a good placement here.

Placements: Being a core branch, very few companies visited the campus for placement. Ambuja Cement was one of the companies that visited our college for campus placement. Out of 60 students that were eligible for the interview for the placements, 12 students got placed. Maximum salary was 6 lakhs offered and minimum 3.5 lakhs. 8 other students got an internship with a stipend of Rs. 12000.

Placements: Placement is very good. Many IT and core companies visit here. Average package is around 3-4 LPA. Maximum package in 2016 was 12 LPA. Infosys, TCS, Tech Mahindra and Texas Instruments etc. visit the campus every year. Texas Instruments have made their centre of excellence in this campus.

Placements: The placement of this college is quite good as compared to colleges present nearby to our college. It is one of the reputed engineering colleges in India. Placements: For electrical students, the placements are not so good but you will get placed in a good company like Bajaj, Infosys, Tech Mahindra and Cummins with a starting package of around 3.6 lakhs per annum. But for the CS and IT students, the placement is very good as all students get placed with an average package of around 3.8 lakhs per annum.

Basically, the CSE and IT branch have almost 100% placements, despite this, there are many other companies who visit campus for other branches too. So, if you are a good learner with good communication skills you can easily get the job for 8 to 12 LPA.

Out of 60 odd students, 35-40 students i.e. 60-65% students get placed in software companies like TCS, Wipro, Kronos, Trianz,etc 1) The highest package -7.1 LPA (by Kronos). 2) Average package -3.2 to 3.8 LPA. 3) The lowest package - 2.9 LPA. The roles offered to the students are related to software development programming, data analyst, MySQL-trainee ,Database Programming, C++ and Java basic knowledge.

Infrastructure is way better than any other college of AKTU. You won't find A.C. in classrooms like other colleges but you also won't find green trees all around in other colleges. Surrounded by big companies and hence a good chance to get internships and many other opportunities. Hostel is spacious, rooms are big, and care is always taken for hygiene of students. The College is good and the Teachers are very cooperative. The quality of education is good. Good Practical exposure is also provided. Labs are in good condition. There is a little problem with respect to the stream of study. Most of the people don’t know the stream Manufacturing Technology and this creates problem in some PSU. I was a mechanical engineering student (2009-13) batch and I owe JSS for such a wonderful experience. What I loved most is that there were no dress code. At least in college, we don't need someone to tell us, what to wear. It is sad that 95% of UPTU college follows the dress code. College societies, apart from studies these cultural and technical societies improve the management / social skills and personality of a student.
