Good placements in the IT and CSE sectors.

Placements: When talking about the placements, I would say the college has a potential of roping in big MNCs as it has happened this year around when Microsoft visited the campus, but for the core students, I would recommend you guys to work really hard to get through the placements. Fewer core companies visit the campus but one thing is for sure that each and every student will get a job at the end of the placement procedure.

Somaiya- Be proud to be called a student of this college.

Placements: Placements were always good at KJ Somaiya, Vidyavihar. The placement cell head has contacts with MNCs, startups and other companies of all domains of engineering. Also, teaching institutes had come for placements at last for hiring. Maximum placement is for IT. In 2015, Morgan Stanley gave the highest package of Rs. 16 lakhs to students. (2 students were selected). Then other companies came like Barclays which offered Rs. 7.2 LPA, Diebold (6 LPA), Indus Valley Partners(6 LPA), Seclore (5.2 LPA)...

Absolutely fantastic campus with many sports facilities, good placements of current year.

Placements: Placements are pretty good here. Almost everyone got placed and those who didn't got placed are going for further studies or their academic scores are less. Highest salary :-10L and lowest:- 2.75L. Companies like Accenture, Infosys, Capegemini, Microsoft, Media.net, Oracle, Indus Valley Partners, Barclays, L&T Infotech and many more visited our campus. Roles of Associate Software Developer, DB Admin, Web Dev were offered. Around 20-30% No idea about stipend. ...

Infrastructure of the college is good and faculty is average. It is nearby to Vidyavihar railway station. College has world class facility for athletics and football. It boasts of a sprawling campus which is lush green. Canteen is pretty cheap and flooded with students. Labs are well equipped and students get ample opportunities in extra- curricular activities. The bonus is that it has a very good placement cell and placements are decent enough.

An excellent college for engineering with one of the finest campuses in Mumbai. The faculty is cooperative and all of them boost for innovations. With teams like Orion Racing India, Red Shift Baja Racing, Team Onyx for aeromodelling, Robocon etc. students can get live experiences of working in team for projects. The placements are good and the college has a good reputation in the industry. The library is quite well equipped with variety of books and a large reading hall.

The college environment is very good. It supports students in both technical and cultural events. The faculty is also supportive. The college campus has improved a lot and also allow students to improve in sports also. Many committees and teams are formed. Festivals and days are celebrated. The job campus is also good. The college facilities are good but the fees that students need to pay is not worth for technical knowledge they provide. The placement that is provided through campus recruitment is well organized and the coordinator takes care that maximum students get placement through campus placement.

A very huge college campus with good facilities provided like basketball court, football ground, cricket ground. The college campus is so huge that it is itself a small station and the college crowd is also pretty decent, but what's worth this college is that if you study hard and get good grades, the packages you can get are very excellent. The highest package goes up to 16lacks per annum and the rate of students getting placement is very high.

The crowd in the college is quite diverse. Teaching is not quite up to the mark. Many extracurricular and curricular activities are held and one can join depending on their interest. There is a football ground, cricket ground, and badminton and tennis court serving gymnasium purpose. Somaiya has two hostels for accommodation. Canteen is superb but being a Gujarati College Non-Veg is not available. Labs are good but you have to make effort to learn anything as the faculty members are not so good...

Best thing about this college is placements. The college made sure that most of us get placed in a good company. Plenty of well-established and renowned companies visit this college and hire a good number of students. You have an upper edge over others if you are from the Computer or IT Department. Another good thing is the huge campus and the amazing canteen that it comprises. In terms of fests and events, I am not very satisfied. The fresher’s party, cultural fests, BE farewell are some things...

K J SOMAIYA has one of the best college campus in Mumbai. You will find almost all Gujaratis in the college with theplas & dhoklas. The attendance of student has never been an issue in Somaiya in any department. The canteen doesn’t offer non-veg food, it is strictly prohibited. The cultural activities taking place in the college every year is just awesome and refreshing. Studying at Somaiya is a proud thing for many students.

Infrastructure of the college is very good. Canteen food is nice, there are two eateries, one is main canteen and the other is a snack-bar which provides all types of snacks such as bhel, pani-puri etc. Some of the faculty members are very good in teaching and some are equally bad. The best part is that there is a R&D lab called riidl where I worked as chief project innovator, here you can develop innovative projects. College fests are decent. Placements have increased from last year as it is au...

The college has great infrastructure, great amenities & good hygienic campus. The College has a Big Name in Mumbai but the fees is high when compared to other engineering colleges in Mumbai & faculty is just okay. I would recommend my college to students who can study on their own & are not dependent on teaching of the college.

My college has the best campus. The infrastructure is not so good but all practical labs and library are well maintained. So who ever has a Gujarati minority, I suggest you to take admission in Kj Somaiya college of Engineering. College canteen is also good and the teaching staff members are also very good. But only drawback is the fees. It has fees of 1.20 lakhs which is almost the highest in Mumbai.

Very good college with good placement record overall. Especially for Computer Engineering and Extc. Now getting the autonomous grand, the companies would be rushing in. Also the college campus is one of the best in Mumbai spread across 65 acres. The engineering canteen is very famous for all types of food. Especially for cheese, bread pakoda, south Indian delicacies and Chinese.

Best college if you are looking for placements after graduation. Students take admission here because of the placements. Placements at KJ Somaiya College of Engineering (KJSCE) are good and have a track record of placing at least 70% students. Comps and IT being at the top. 95% of the companies are software based companies. Though the average salary is same as any other engineering college that is 2, 50,000/-pa, the highest salary was 9.5 Lakh.
