Best college in town. Should be on your number one list .You won't regret it.

Placements: Placements are excellent. Out of 600 students, more than 550 are placed. Everyone from IT and computers are placed in one or the other MNCs. Packages range from 4 LPA to 14 LPA. Microsoft, Morgan Stanley, Colgate, Godrej and Accenture are a few of the recruiters.

A decent college for students in Mumbai.

Placements: The placements are decent in the college and usually, computer engineering and IT students get good placements. Companies such as JP Morgan, Microsoft, Barclays, L&T etc. visit the campus, apart from regular IT companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, IBM etc. The highest package is around Rs. 10 lakh and the minimum package is around Rs. 3 lakh. The average package is around Rs. 3.5 lakh. The roles offered are decent and comparable to those offered in good engineering colleges. The internship scen...

Review of KJ Somaiya EXTC branch 2017.

Placements: Placement is really good. The placement office in the college tries its level best to bring the college and get people placed. Various training lectures are also held in the college so that the student can crack the aptitude. Companies that are coming are Accenture, Trekbin, L&T and Infosys.

Placements are excellent, infrastructure is good but lacks in the campus life.

Placements: Placement was quite good. More than 60% of students got placements through in-campus interview. The highest salary for the last year placements was 8 lakhs per anum and lowest was 2.80 lakhs per annum. Various companies like TCS, HCL, Infosys, Capgemini, Larsen and Toubro visited last year. Students were selected for the post from system engineer to junior network administrator and many more. Approx 40% of the students got internships from college. The highest stipend was 25,000 and the lowest ...

Absolutely great college to study in if you are studying only for placements.

Placements: Placements were moderate for core mechanical engineers and were good for IT companies. The highest salary was 6 lakh per annum and the average was 3.5 lakh. Companies like Godrej, L & T, Bluestar, Accenture, TCS and Infosys came. Roles like design engineer, associate manager and technical sales engineer were offered. To be honest, no internships were offered.

Amazing infrastructure and good placement.

Placements: KJ Somaiya College of Engineering profoundly called as KJSCE is pretty famous for its placement as compared to all the other colleges with a minimum package of 2.5 lac/annum. The companies hiring the students mostly include IT based companies and some core companies. KJSCE provides 100% placement as per the results of last 2 years.

Nice college but can be avoided if other colleges are available since the fee is very high.

Placements: Placement was good. Companies like Larsen & Toubro, Godrej, Wipro, Accenture, TCS, Infosys, etc. visited for recruitment. They hired almost 50% of the students. Placement team is not very efficient. However, it changes after every 3-4 years hence probabilities of a better team are there.

Next best college in Mumbai after IIT.

Placements: The placements are a bit dependent on your branch. Computer engineering placements were maximum and minimum was electronics engineering. The companies visiting are around 75 or more and maximum average annual payment should be 8 lacs. Companies like JP Morgan, Microsoft, Accenture, Infosys, Colgate, Barclays, L&T and much more visited the campus for placements.

A little dissatisfied with placements in 2016 but everything else is exceptionally good.

Placements: The placement cell of the college is very good. Although at my time, there were not as many companies visiting for campus placement for mechanical aspirants. The overall scenario now is much better. There are highly reputed companies like Godrej and Boyce, L&T, Mahindra and Mahindra amongst the popular ones that come for recruitment. Even the college strives its best to help students get placed.

Very good infrastructure and facilities but the faculty is not very satisfactory.

Placements: From what I have heard from my seniors, the placements are not very good. Although good companies like L&T, Mahindra, Accenture, etc. visit for placements but the number of students is relatively less. The average salary offered is 3.5 to 4 LPA. Many roles ranging from technical to marketing background were offered.

KJ Somaiya College of Engineering. Its really worth taking admission here. Excellent experience.

Placements: About 40% students got placed in Mechanical. Placements are really good when it is about IT and computer branches. The average package of a mechanical engineer graduating from KJSCE is 3.6 LPA and the highest package in 2016 was 5.5 LPA offered by Godrej & Boyce. When it is about IT and computer branches, the placement package goes till 12-15 LPA. Companies like Intel and Microsoft also come to recruit students.

Totally satisfied with my college.

Placements: Almost the whole batch of computers and IT streams was placed at 90% students. The stipend varied from 2 lacs to 14 lacs, and the average stipend offered was 3.25 lacs. I got placed in DCB with a 4 lac package. Many get placements in Infosys and Accenture for sure.

Really good infrastructure and a campus to die for.

Placements: The placements in our college are really good. As far as I have seen 90% of the students have been placed. All kinds of companies with different requirements visit our college. Companies offering more than 5 lakhs come under the dream company in KJSCE. People who get such jobs can not apply for any other job.

Placements: The placement process is pretty good. Around 40 percent of students were placed from my batch in JP Morgan, Indus Valley Partners, L&T InfoTech, Diebold, Accenture and Infosys companies recruited students in the IT profession. Some of the core companies which recruited from our campus are L&T, Godrej and Reliance. Mock interviews and aptitude tests were conducted to groom us before the placement process. Great college. Poor placement for mechanical. Great infrastructure.

Placements: For my batch, placements were horrible. Out of a total of 50 companies up till now, only 5-6 core companies have visited the campus and a total of 10 companies which accepted BE in the mechanical stream. Out of 150 students, around 25-30 only have been placed which is like a 20% of the total count.

Average faculty, good facilities and a nice campus.

Placements: Placements in KJSCE are decent, fairly good. Won't say they are too good or too bad. More than 75% students get placed every year, on the basis of past few years knowledge. It is not that the other entire 25 % do not get placed, but among then, some pursue higher education or business. Highest pay package: INR 12 LPA, one student. Average pay package: INR 3.5 LPA Minimum pay package: INR 2.5 LPA The significant recruiters are Infosys (mass recruiter), JP Morgan (10-15 students), Google/Microsof...

Absolutely satisfied because of faculty, good placements in 2015, really good infrastructure.

Placements: It was pretty good during my academic session and it was even better in the next year. Almost 80% of college got placed and from my branch, almost 90%-95% students got placed. The highest offered was around 18 LPA and the average salary offered was around 3.5 LPA. Most of the students got placed in Accenture and Infosys for the role of a software engineer.

A college with a great campus and many job placements.

Placements: Placements are very high in this college. It offers placements from several multinational companies. The lowest salary was around 2.5 lakh and the highest according to me was around 8 lakh. They get good places in various types of big companies. Around 70% students got an internship from the college.

A prestigious autonomous institution.

Placements: The placement percentage is actually high for both the computer branches i.e. Computer Engineering & IT as well as for EXTC whereas not that high for branches like Electronics and Mechanical as most of the students from these go for post-graduation. The placement season this year have seen companies ranging from Microsoft to Godrej. There are also a couple of mass recruiting companies like Accenture & Infosys. The mechanical branch saw a less number of companies whereas the telecommunications br...
