Frequently Asked Questions

Q:   Is K. Wagh Institute of Engineering Education and Research very expensive for B.Tech CSE?

A:

It depends on which branch you want to choose in general if you want to get admission in CS/IT (2019 pattern) you have to pay avg 3 Lacs to 4lakh. As my many batch mates got admission through management quota they have paid 4 Lacs in 2019.

I am an Alumni of kk wagh college of engineering but I got admission on merit.

But I have friends who got admission in college through management quota and they paid almost 1–2 Lacs (2014–15) course

I hope this information helps you out.

All the best!

Depends on your marks. They have specific range of marks, According to which your amount will be decided. It starts from 1lk or something. Though I'm not admitted through management round, this is all I know.

Q:   How is the faculty for B.Tech CSE at K. Wagh Institute of Engineering Education and Research?

A:

It's a good college. The professors are very helpful and they guide your very nicely at every step of your college life. Also different kinds of technical and non technical festivals are held there which help you to grow in every field. And the atmosphere of the college too is good. You will have lots of fun plus you will have an opportunity to learn many things too.

It really depends on what you want to pursue. Nashik is an industrial hub having surrounded by MIDC's. If you're passionate about the industrial sector and you like Nashik as a city, then K.K. Wagh is the choice you're looking for.

But the opportunities for CS/IT sector are limited as compared to other places like Mumbai or Pune.

Having said that, I would say K. Wagh is a nice college, however it lacks in providing exposure to students as it does for students studying in cities like Pune/Mumbai.

Also I agree with the facts that  has provided in his answer. Go with these, and make a wise decision.

Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

Remarkable engineering journey with great placement opportunities and courses.
Placements: The placement activity of college depends on various parameters like aggregate SGPA throughout engineering, active backlogs and dead backlogs, skills level required for the company, extracurricular activities, etc. Nearly 60% of students were placed from our batch with 10 LPA to 3 LPA packages. In companies like GLATT, Mahindra, and CIE. 100% placement was there in Automation engineer.
Infrastructure: The available classrooms and labs in the department are very good. Department of Robotics and Automation offers multiple high-facility labs like automation lab, software lab, robotics and industry 4.0 lab with individual Wi-Fi connections to each lab and classroom with proper connectivity.
Faculty: The Teachers, HOD, assistant professor and faculty members were really helpful throughout the process and had great knowledge in their fields. Yes, this course makes students industry-ready, if they try to stay connected to the course throughout their engineering. The exams are quite difficult, no malpractices are available.
Other: This course is a new and emerging course of engineering under SPPU. Industries are majorly focusing on the automation of their plants, so it had a high chance to stand tall among other branches. Colleges had good activities like MAfick, KPL, etc.

Dynamic learning environment with supportive staff and modern resources.
Placements: I have opted for robotics and automation. This course is regarding industrial robotics and automation. In our branch, 27 students are placed. The highest package is 8.5 lacs, where 8 students are placed at Glatt Solution Pune and the lowest package is 3 lacs, where 4 students are placed at Sachha Engineering Pune.
Infrastructure: Our college has advanced labs in which there are four brand new roots and one Industry 4.0 setup. The classrooms are very advanced, like an e-learning setup. The library of our college is very good and has online facilities like searching for books in the racks.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and kind in nature. They are qualified. Most of the teachers had completed there Ph.D. in their field. The course gives students a handsome experience, which helps them upscale there professional skills. The exam is quite easy.
Other: The college conducts a fest named Mafic, which is the best event I have experienced yet. Many student clubs are formed in college, such as SARA, Elite Club, etc., which give the student the opportunity to represent their skills.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty, good placements, and the average campus and college .
Placements: I attended the K. K. Wagh Institute of Engineering Education and Research. I was very satisfied with the placements at K. K. Wagh College. The average package was around 5,00,000-6,00,000 LPA, and an average of 70% of students got placement through the college. These are good numbers when compared with other institutions in the city.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities are not good, the college does have good laboratories with good equipment for practical work. The classrooms are not cleaned, but they are usable. The hostel is average.
Faculty: The curriculum at this college is good. As an autonomous institute, it provides a really good syllabus that focuses on the practical knowledge of the students. However, the teaching faculty is not up to the mark and they are not good enough.
Other: The campus and crowd are average, and yes, I chose robotics and automation, as it is the emerging trend and I loved building roots.

I am satisfied with this college.
Placements: Almost 75% of students got placed in our college. The highest salary package offered by Druva is 18 LPA. The average salary package offered is around 4 LPA - 5 LPA. Companies like Dhruva, eQ Technologic, FinIQ, Bosch, Jio, Tata Motors, Mahindra, etc., visit our college. About 90% of students got internships from our college.
Infrastructure: Our college provides jammers. Each class is Wi-Fi enabled. Students and teachers can use Wi-Fi. Each room has a projector. The library has all books. It is peaceful. There are many hostels, but the seats are few. The mess provides average food. Canteens are average. Medical facilities are good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They teach us in the online and offline modes. Students get practical knowledge. Every year, we have two semesters. The pass percentage is 75%.
Other: It is a good college. I recommend joining this college. Robotics and automation is a new department. It is a mix of IT, electric, and mechanical departments. Many clubs in each department provide practical knowledge. Our college encourages sports.

Honest review for K. K. Wagh Institute of Engineering Education and Research.
Placements: 80 to 90 percent of students are placed. Everyone gets internship. The average package is 4 lacs per annum. There is a training and placement unit for the students that helps them prepare for campus placements. Nvidia has also visited and recruited from our college .
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is little too old but cleanliness is maintained. Classes are equipped with Wi-Fi and fans but sometimes the light feels a little dim. The canteen is overpriced for the quality of the food. The sports department is very good; there's a big field for football and cricket and separate courts for basketball volleyball, etc.
Faculty: The teachers are friendly and helpful. Their teaching methods are also good. They are approachable for doubt-solving. Most teachers are postgraduates. The Hods have PhDs. The college is autonomous, so the syllabus is aligned to the interests of companies. The exams are hard but not very extreme .
