Frequently Asked Questions

Q:   How is the faculty for B.Tech CSE at K. Wagh Institute of Engineering Education and Research?

A:

It's a good college. The professors are very helpful and they guide your very nicely at every step of your college life. Also different kinds of technical and non technical festivals are held there which help you to grow in every field. And the atmosphere of the college too is good. You will have lots of fun plus you will have an opportunity to learn many things too.

It really depends on what you want to pursue. Nashik is an industrial hub having surrounded by MIDC's. If you're passionate about the industrial sector and you like Nashik as a city, then K.K. Wagh is the choice you're looking for.

But the opportunities for CS/IT sector are limited as compared to other places like Mumbai or Pune.

Having said that, I would say K. Wagh is a nice college, however it lacks in providing exposure to students as it does for students studying in cities like Pune/Mumbai.

Also I agree with the facts that  has provided in his answer. Go with these, and make a wise decision.

Q:   Is K. Wagh Institute of Engineering Education and Research very expensive for B.Tech CSE?

A:

It depends on which branch you want to choose in general if you want to get admission in CS/IT (2019 pattern) you have to pay avg 3 Lacs to 4lakh. As my many batch mates got admission through management quota they have paid 4 Lacs in 2019.

I am an Alumni of kk wagh college of engineering but I got admission on merit.

But I have friends who got admission in college through management quota and they paid almost 1–2 Lacs (2014–15) course

I hope this information helps you out.

All the best!

Depends on your marks. They have specific range of marks, According to which your amount will be decided. It starts from 1lk or something. Though I'm not admitted through management round, this is all I know.

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

Absolutely satisfied with the college. Good infrastructure and good teaching.
Placements: Very few students are placed. Praj Industries visited the college campus. INR 3.5 lacs per annum is the average package. INR 5 lacs per annum is the highest package. Adani Thermal Power Plant Company also visited KKWAGH.
Infrastructure: There is excellent infrastructure, including a mess, a canteen, and a wide range of Wi-Fi. So many staff members are available. In the College of Karmaveer, Kakasaheb Wagh College of Engineering, Nashik, Maharashtra, India, 422007 labs are available.
Faculty: Semester exams are very tough to clear. Some of the subjects should not be there because they are not used in practical industry. Teachers are very helpful, qualified and very good at teaching and making students industry-ready.

Our college is very good.
Placements: Placements for chemical engineering students are low when compared to other branches. Many top companies visit our college and some students get recruitment. The highest salary package offered varies between 6 LPA - 7 LPA. The average salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. The salary packages offered in other courses vary.
Infrastructure: I am a day scholar, but I heard from my friends that hostels are better.
Faculty: Faculty members are good compared to other colleges. They always help us to clear our doubts. They help us to pass exams by providing notes. Semester exams are tough for chemical engineering students. Practicals are also regularly carried out so that we can gather good knowledge.
Other: Sports and events are conducted in this college.

Absolutely satisfied beacuse of all facilities, good placements and good infrastructure.
Placements: In our branch only 30% students were placed. The highest package we got is 5 LPY and the lowest is 1.5 lpy. Almost 70% students got internship in many companies like Agrosearch, Catapharma, RCF, etc. Top Recruiting Conpany till date - JNK India pvt. Ltd. Thane.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure in our department is good, we are having Wi-Fi facility, labs and classroom are good and the Library is also too good. Quality of Hostel food is Average means not too bad and not too good. Canteen facility is good enough. Medical facilities is also good and the sport facility is really Amazing all types of sports activities are available n also teachers are also there for teaching various games.
Faculty: Teaching faculty is really good expect 1 2 teachers all teachers are well educated n experienced teachers. Semester exams are really very difficult but all questions are already teached by teachers n the pass percentage is 90%. Overall All teachers are Well Qualified.
Other: I choose chemical engineering because it has too much scope in future and I really interested for working as a chemical engineer.

Overall college campus life is good with not many things to do.
Placements: In our course 20+ students were placed during campus placements, the top recruiter was TCS, and the highest package was 12+lac per annum. IT companies more than our branch-related industry, the lowest package was 3+lacs per annum and the average package was 5+lac per annum.
Infrastructure: The boy's hostel has less seats, but rooms are available near the college area which is within walking distance. Gyms and sports, and medical facilities are excellent, and these amenities are supportable for student's life and can help enhance their overall college experience.
Faculty: The faculty is extremely helpful during exams and in preparing students for the industry, well-qualified faculty in our college with PhD, and there are three tests taken every semester, the first semester then the test ends, and last, the examination at the end is taken 70 marks.

Very satisfied with my college and its facilities.
Placements: About 50-60% students get placed every year from my course. About 4-5 LPA packages are offered. 70% students get internships. Our teachers also help us and they prepare us for the big competitive exams like GATE. The library has books for such preparations.
Infrastructure: Very nice infra of the college. The college has Wi-Fi system in the college premises. A very nice mess and a Gymkhana department is available. Canteen and time to time medical facilities are provided. People who work in the mess and Gymkhana department are very kind with the students. They also make very good food for us.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and friendly as well as very intelligent. Hard semester exams but they require 40% to pass. The college also makes some plans like industry visits with the college bus facility. Teachers also tell information about the industry.
Other: My selection of course is value for money.

You need to go through the long process. First, you need to clear all subjects of first of year having CGPA more than 8.00. Vacancies must be present in your desired college. You need letters from your previous college (TC).
