Candidate must have passed VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. from schools situated in Tamil Nadu.
Tamil Nadu native candidate who have passed any of the VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. or their equivalent exam from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu can also apply. They should produce Original Nativity Certificate.
Children of Central Government Employees, irrespective of their nativity, provided their parents or guardians (only if both parents are not alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years can be eligible to apply.
Sons & daughters of All India service Tamil Nadu cadre officers are eligible to apply. A Self declaration from the parent in this regard is to be produced.
Children of employees in the Public Sector or Government recognized institutions had been working in their organisations for the past five years are also eligible, irrespective of their domicile.

Our college had good placements every year, and I am satisfied with faculty members.
Placements: Many students got placed in our course. The highest salary offered is Rs. 90,000 per month. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 70,000 per month. Top recruiting companies are related to core companies. Many students got internships in companies like L & T, etc.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and the whole department are Wi-Fi enabled. There are separate labs for all departments. All labs are high-tech. Classrooms are very clean. The library of our college is modern, and all departments have a separate core library. All games are available in our college.
Faculty: All teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good. There are three CIAT exams per semester. Our college has an exam cell. They strictly correct exam papers. Semester exams are difficult.
Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in it. The best thing about our course is it is easy to learn.

It has good infrastructure and friendly teachers but below average placements for civil engineering.
Placements: Placements in core companies are not much enough, but for the software sector branches, many companies had visited here. For the civil engineering branch, none of the top companies visited here. I am expecting that nearly 50% of the students will get placed in the next year. Students can do internships as per their own interests but without knowing about students who are interested in internships, college won't offer any company for internships on its own.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and labs have a good environment and have good Wi-Fi network signals. The food offered in the canteen is also good. The building is sprawled over 4 floors, but the elevator did not work yet. So, I had faced very difficultly from the very first year. There are two entrances to our college. Securities are very strict, and they are not allowed to go outside the campus.
Faculty: Teachers are absolutely good here. They are qualified and well knowledgeable. At any time, they clarify doubts and encourage my ideas. We are also called by the faculty members and make us ask doubts related to the subjects. But they do not introduce any new innovative ideas in the civil sector and do not teach current techniques which are used now in the industry.
Other: Civil engineering is the evergreen course, and I liked it very much, so I chose it. In every government sector, civil knowledge and ideas are must required, and they are useful in daily life.

It has good infrastructure and a good education.
Placements: It provides a good quality of education.
Infrastructure: The college provides good infrastructure. Bus facility, canteen and separate ground facility are available. The college provides separate hostel facility for both and girls. The course offers courses like civil, mechanical, electrical, electronics and CSE. Separate labs are available in the college. Wi-Fi facility is available in college and hostel. In the hostel, they allot 4-sharing rooms with a cot and attached bathrooms. Gym facility is also available.
Faculty: Faculty members teaching quality is good, and they give good result in all examination. In college, they conduct special classes and special test for weak students. They conduct symposium and paper presentation for student knowledge improvement. In each semester, they conduct industrial visit for students to gain knowledge.
Other: I have chosen this course because civil is the main course in all engineering courses. The college provides many technical service courses like survey, AutoCAD and many civil related courses for our knowledge improvement. Cultural and sports activities are encouraged in this college.

Good college and good environment.
Placements: I joined in 2010 in B.E. Civil engineering and passed out in 2014 with 8.5 CGPA with First class and Distinction. I was placed in company named WIPRO with an annual salary package of 3.25 Lacs per annum. I was offered sport and other cultural activities.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are good with 4 sharing with attached bathroom facilities. The food served is very good. Besides this they have a study hour at night 8 o clock to 10 o clock. Every Friday some movies are shown. Wi-Fi facilities was also available to us.
Faculty: When I joined the college the teachers were fresh out of the college. Their understanding was not up to the standards as expected form the college mentors. Lab facilities were also poor. Study materials were given to every one. No proper guidance was given.
Other: I joined civil engineering in this college because of the reviews of the other branches of this college. Cource is good, however the college can improve upon the lab and practical sessions.

I would suggest this college for below average and average students.
Placements: Almost 15 to 20 companies visit our campus to conduct placements drives. Nearly 60% of the students got placed in various IT and BPO companies. Only a few core companies visit the campus. A student is allowed to get placed in only three companies. If he was offered PPOs in three companies, he is not allowed to apply for any placement drive. The highest package offered is 6 LPA by an MNC. I'm not sure about the lowest salary package offered.
Infrastructure: The campus is Wi-Fi enabled, and speed of the Wi-Fi is high. The labs are equipped with high-class instruments and machines. The hostel facilities are good, and they provide good food and accommodation. Sports are not much encouraged, and even sometimes, the college doesn't allow the students to participate in competitions held outside the campus.
Faculty: The college always looks for better results, so they are strict during the semesters. We don't have any other activities. We must liaise with them at least to pass in the examinations. Even a good teacher becomes arrogant during the semester. Teaching methods are more usual, nothing interesting.
