Our college provides good placements and infrastructure.

Placements: Placements are very good. Both IT and core placements are available based on the student's skills. Top recruiting companies visit our college for recruitment. Internships are also offered in this course. The salary package is decent.

The best college of my life.

Placements: The placement cell of our college is so good as many companies visit our college to provide jobs to the students, as 70 percent of students are selected by reputed companies. The package we get is good at INR 17 lacs per annum.

It is a satisfactory college with every amenity.

Placements: Above 70% of the students from our course who are eligible for placements got placed. You need to qualify in all exams in the semester and should not have arrears to attend placements. Core companies offer a salary package of around 4 LPA-5 LPA, while software companies offer a salary package of 4 LPA. Depending on your choice, you can prefer any role. We have to get internships mostly on our own efforts, and they are not paid internships.

Our college is well built with poor faculty members.

Placements: During my study around 60% of students were placed. The highest salary package offered is 6.45LPA and the minimum salary package offered is 1.8L The top recruiting companies include Hyundai, Volkswagen, Accenture, Vendanta, CTS etc. Top roles offered by the companies were programme analyst and GET.

Kongu Engineering College.

Placements: No placements in this waste college. Only IT company jobs that too can't believe when we will get the offer letter. I have been personally hurted due to this. We can't expect Mechanical Core companies. Please don't prefer this college as they get extra fees for placement.

A place one can enjoy the atmosphere without curriculum.

Placements: The placements where good they organised it in a proper way. I got placed in Accenture. But only few core companies came into picture. Overall it's good when compared to other colleges in terms of placements. You just need to ensure before joining how the previous year placements where and then one had get into this organisation.

Not satisfied. The students don't seem to have a better future.

Placements: The placement is comparatively high for computer and IT jobs, but if you want to get a core job, you have to try on your own mostly. Not many core companies come to the college for placement. The placement training is mostly for IT jobs whichever department you may be. They don't appreciate internships, only a smaller fraction of students go for internships.

I study in ECE and we have the best of experienced and dedicated faculty. Since my college is autonomous the whole curriculum is designed to provide flexibility to students to choose among interdisciplinary subjects as per one’s personal interests and choices. The campus provides an awesome range of facilities and infrastructure for sports and fitness. The institution also provide better transportation facilities which almost connects the every part of district to the college. The overall placem...

Our college was just like any other engineering college. The faculty members in our college were not much experienced to handle the students. It was the major reason for the students to have a hindrance in their knowledge search. It was more like a school atmosphere rather than a college atmosphere. It will be better if the students were given a better exposure apart from the syllabus. They should be developed with an application knowledge more than a theoretical thinking.

Campus is very clean. Infrastructure is good. Lab facilities are awesome. Hostel is perfect to stay but food is not up to the mark. Rules are strict. Industrial visit is restricted to one day only so we can’t visit places far away from the college and so we can’t learn many things in one day.
