I got a great campus life. The college and environment promote education in the best possible way.

Placements: TCS is the major recruiter. Placements are quite good for CSE, ECE and IT department. This year, the average salary package offered for ECE students was around 5 LPA. Almost 80% of the students got placed. However, due to the rich coding culture if college developed by keygen coders club and developers club and several other factors, the off-campus placements get better. For ECE students, the highest salary package offered was 41 LPA, and Google offered it. For CSE students, salary package offer...

College fees is quite inexpensive, satisfactory placements, course curriculum needs to be updated.

Placements: Almost 80% of our students GOT placed. TCS is the mass recruiter of our college and always recruits most of the students. Companies like Wipro, Cognizant, Erricson, Kreeti Technologies also visit our college and recruit the deserving candidates. Core companies like GoSpeedyGo, Sankalp Semiconductors mainly recruit Electronics students. But, every year the number of placed students are decreasing.

No 1 Government College in Bengal.

Placements: The placement statistics are fairly well here. TCS is the mass recruiter, taking an average of 100 students every year. Few of the students GOT placed in huge companies like Google, Microsoft with a package of more than 30 LPA. Infosys also take an average of 10 students every year. Few core companies also come here like Kreeti, Sankalp, Veda IIT. This year new companies like Gospeedygo came for recruitment.

Although the college is satisfactory enough, the course curriculum needs to be revised.

Placements: Our college placements are fair enough. TCS is our major recruiter, recruiting somewhere around 100 students every academic year. While on one hand, the number of students getting placed at TCS is dropping with every year, on the other hand new companies like GoSpeedyGo have started coming to our campus for recruitment. Other companies like Wipro, Ericsson, Kreeti Technologies too take part in our recruitment process.

The college is worth for money and has good facilities.

Placements: Most of the students were placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 40 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 4 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies like TCS, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, Kreeti, Microsoft, etc., visited the campus. A large number of students got an internship from my course to various top-notch companies.

It is a good college to deal with.

Placements: Placements are very good. More than 75% of students are placed from our college. Many students are receiving a salary package of above 8 LPA. More than 5 companies visit college regularly and give good placement. Overall it has good placement records every year. But if you are capable enough, then you will get placed.

Good college for pursuing degree.

Placements: Placement is good for CSE, IT and ECE departments as IT companies like TCS, Infosys, Tech mahindra etc. Visit our campus for placement every year, one of the student from ECE department got placed in "Google" with package of around 12 LPA, yes it is the highest package ever in our college, before this, the highest package was 9 LPA that was offered by HUL to 4 students of mechanical and electrical. Now when we talk about placement scenario of Mechanical and Electrical then it is really very bad,...

KGEC is the best place to learn and grow.

Placements: Placement opportunities offered in 2018 have been encouraging enough. Placements of any student do not solely lie with the college; it is also a responsibility of students to be active enough to learn and develop their skills throughout the course. Almost 88 students were placed in TCS, and almost 13 students got placed in Infosys. These two companies were our major recruiters. Companies like Capgemini, Hexaware, and Kreeti Industry hired a few students. In 2019, one student got placed in Google...

KGEC is the best government college in West Bengal.

Placements: Placements completely depend upon your capability and how you prepare yourself for your interview day. This college will only invite TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Infosys and other small IT companies for placements, and the job profile offered is of project engineering. Few other core companies come for campus recruitment, but they hire very few students with low salary packages and a long list of terms and conditions. If you really want something good in life, the only thing to do is to believe in you...

This is one of the best colleges in West Bengal.

Placements: The placements in our college are good over the years. Most of the students got placed in the college placements. Last year, the highest package offered by Hindustan Unilever to a boy student was 9 LPA. Most of the students got placed in companies like TCS and Wipro. Most of the students got placed in the companies from the IT-sector in other states.

Overall, a decent college.

Placements: Placements in the college are quite decent. If you are in a core department like mechanical and electrical, you will not get many opportunities. But for other departments, you will surely get some opportunities to get placed in a decent company. But you have to choose wisely.

Our college is a symbol of love.

Placements: There are average placements in the college, but our placement cell is trying to improve the placements to be better than the previous years. We need good companies that want good engineers. IT sector companies are our main recruiters, and we need many companies from manufacturing sectors. Our government, college authorities and alumni help us in placements.

The college provides good placements, and the campus atmosphere is good.

Placements: The college provides good placements. Maximum placements are provided in TCS and other companies. The minimum of 65% of the students got selected in TCS, this year. The average salary offered was Rs. 20,000 per month to Rs. 30,000 per month. TCS offers the roles of a programmer for newcomers. I think it's useful for poor students.

KGEC- A developing engineering college.

Placements: The placements in our college are neither good nor bad, but not up to the mark. Irrespective of the branch, you are going to land up in an IT sector most probably. This year, the scenario has changed a bit. People from ME are getting placements in HUL with a package of 9 LPA.

The review of Kalyani Government Engineering College, WB.

Placements: The placements are good for ECE, IT, and CSE students in software giants like TCS, Capgemini, etc. But the placement is not that good in core companies for EE and ME students. The placement stands nearly at 90% for ECE, CSE, and IT departments, but it falls less than 20% for EE and ME departments.

Placements: Our college has an active training and placement cell. They conduct placement drives in many companies either famous or not, for different branches. According to our position in class, we can achieve placements in different companies with different salary structures.
