Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as options or related vocational courses in the fields of Engineering and Technology, or any other examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana, with the mentioned marks in aggregate (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) or equivalent along with bridge course or courses conducted by it for candidates enrolled from the academic year 2000 onwards. Candidates who have appeared for the final year of 10+2 and who are awaiting for their results are also eligible to apply on provisonal basis.

It provides good placements.

Placements: KIET gives no opportunities for students for being placed in placements. This college provides a special coding batch for students who are interested in coding. The average salary package offered is 4.5 LPA so, it is the best average salary.

Infrastructure: It provides good laboratories for students. It has a central library having thousands of books. The food provided at the hostel is well hygienic and feels like homely food. It provides grounds for playing sports.

Faculty: Faculty members are from IBM and Talentio. They have good knowledge sharing skills so, their teaching skills are good. They provide industrial tours for being ready for placements. The semester exams are difficult to get to work so, students have to prepare well.
