Effectiveness of Placement Cell for BE/BTech Courses at Bonam Venkata Chalamayya Engineering College

The placement cell at Bonam Venkata Chalamayya Engineering College seems to have mixed reviews from students and alumni. Here's a summary of what they have to say:

* Average Placements: "Only 5% of the students got placed." - This suggests that the placement rate is relatively low.
* Low Salary Packages: "The highest salary package offered was Rs. 16,000 per month and the lowest salary package offered was Rs. 8,000 per month." - This indicates that the salaries offered are not particularly high.
* Limited Company Visits: "I don't even know the names of the companies that visited the campus." - This implies that the number of companies visiting the campus may be limited.
* Good Faculty Support: "Teachers are qualified, each and every one are friendly and always helpful. Maximum focus on practical knowledge rather than bookish knowledge." - This highlights the strong support system provided by the faculty.
* Need for Improvement: ".they (placement cell) don't want to know how much the students have understood." - This suggests that the placement cell could benefit from improving its interaction with students to better understand their needs and abilities.

Overall, while the placement cell appears to have some areas for improvement, the faculty support and emphasis on practical knowledge are notable strengths. However, the placement rates and salary packages seem to be subpar.

Absolutely one of the best colleges with good infrastructure and very good facilities.
Placements: Minimum 6 CGPA percentage were placed in the mechanical course. The lowest package is 3.5 Lacs per annum, and the highest package is 12.5 Lacs per annum. Top companies are Wipro, ServiceNow, Honda, Tata Consultancies. 8 CGPA internship for core companies. All roles are allowed.
Infrastructure: In bonam venkata chalamaya engineering college have so many best facilities, best faculty, and good labs. The entire college has Wi-Fi and sports. So many types of games are conducted in our college. So many extra and cultural activities are conducted in our college.
Faculty: In our college, very professional faculty members teach classes. They are very helpful to students and many times explain topics until students understand the subject. Teaching-wise, it is great. Semester exams are a little bit critical, but it's easy to pass the exams because of the faculty members' teaching. The pass percentage is above 75%.

Absolutely satisfied because of the faculty, good placements in 2024, and really good infrastructure
Placements: I am telling about my senior passing-out batch. 40% of students are only placed in my course. The highest package offered in our course is 8 LPA per annum. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Wipro, Hexagon, and Virtusa. Only 50% of students got internships from our course in Wipro and Infosys companies.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available for our department include Wi-Fi in many classrooms, labs, and the library. In our hostel, we have AC, and the food in the mess is very hygienic, but the hostel fee is too high. Medical facilities are also available, and many sports programs are conducted.
Faculty: In our department, teachers are very friendly and helpful in clearing our doubts. They are qualified and knowledgeable, and their teaching is good. In our department, semester exams are very strict. They do not encourage malpractice and conduct exams under CCTV cameras. The pass percentage of our department is 83%.
Other: In our department, extracurricular activities are conducted, but they do not conduct events or fests.

Sampreeth reviews of my college.
Placements: The maximum salary offered at my college is 7.5 lacs per annum. Our college has fewer placement opportunities compared to other colleges, with a passing mark requirement of 74%. The majority of top companies that recruit from our college are Vartusa companies, offering lucrative job opportunities.
Infrastructure: The lecturers at our college are providing quality education, and the labs are well-equipped. However, the hostel facilities are subpar, with poor food quality and lack of cleanliness. Additionally, the college management lacks proper maintenance of medical facilities. On a positive note, we have access to sports equipment and even have a pet available.
Faculty: The professors at my college are highly trained and skilled individuals who provide us with valuable assistance. Passing semester exams in my college is challenging, requiring us to work diligently and intelligently from day one. However, this prepares us well for the industry and ensures a bright future for the next generation.
Other: The Artificial Intelligence and Data Science course is going to rule the world in the coming days, so in this course I'll improve my skills, so I suggest taking this course.

The extracurricular activities are great.
Placements: 66% of students are placed in this course. The highest package is 24 lac per annum, the lowest package is 5 lac per annum, and the average package is 10 lac per annum. There are several companies that are recruiting for this course: Amazon, Infosys, the Adani Group, IBM, and Tata. The top roles offered in your course are manager, software engineer, hardware engineer, web developer, and machine learning.
Infrastructure: Good facilities and infrastructure are available in my college. 24/7 Wi-Fi is available, and free Wi-Fi is all over campus. College labs and classroom libraries are important because they help students learn, develop skills, and improve their academic performance. Library allows students to interact with books. A classroom library functions as a gathering place for students to meet and talk about their relations to books with a more positive attitude towards reading. The quality of hostel facilities can vary greatly, but generally, most hostels provide well-lit and ventilated rooms.
Faculty: Yes, teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is fine. The course curriculum is relevant; it makes the students ready. The faculty of the dedication, expertise, and approachability of professors and staff members. The people who teach in a university, college, or US high school, or in one of its departments.
Other: I chose this course because of my deep interest in it, which aligns perfectly with my desired career path. I was particularly drawn to it as it will provide me with the necessary skills to explain how the course will help you achieve your goals. Extracurricular activities provide a setting to become involved and to interact with other students, thus leading to increased learning and enhanced and cultural activities.

Very good hygiene in our college canteen.
Placements: The highest package offered at BVC College is around 65 Lacs per annum, while the average package is approximately 6 Lacs per annum. Unfortunately, I couldn't find information on the lowest package offered. In terms of placement, Statistics BVC College has a decent record, with around 67.65% of students getting placed. The college also provides internship opportunities, with some students getting internships at companies like Visakhapatnam Steel Plant.
Infrastructure: Every week there is a single period for our branch; we will attend to the library period that is there. There is a good facility in our college library. In the college, every student wanted to visit the college for the library. Also, the faculty also supports the students to attend the library and study the textbooks.
Faculty: In our college there are some good teaching faculty and non-teaching faculty. With regard to the teaching faculty, they are very encouraging to the students, and they will help the students to achieve their interests. Our college is an autonomous college, so it will be easier for semester examinations.
Other: In our college there are two canteens, and one canteen is for only curries and food, and another canteen contains also food and pens and books. They maintain very good hygiene in our college canteen.

I'm not satisfied with this college .
Placements: 72% of students were placed in our course. The highest package was 6 LPA, and the minimum package was 2 LPA. Unfortunately, there is no assistance provided while doing internships. Many companies recruit students from our course, but those who did not secure internships in college may have to seek opportunities outside of the college.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for our course or department are not bad, but they are not sufficient for students' needs. Unfortunately, the hostels are the worst; they lack basic facilities, and the food quality is poor, often prepared with old or expired ingredients. Additionally, the rooms are not of good quality.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, although some may not be. While some teachers kindly assist us, others behave rudely. Overall, the teachers at my college are not entirely bad, but there are a few exceptions. The semester exams are challenging to pass due to the difficulty in understanding the paper's instructions and the evaluation process.
