Our college does not provide placements.
Placements: According to the college, they have a 100% placement rate. It is not true. In the previous year, only 10 students were placed with a very low salary package. The only problem in the college is placements. They don't have the proper placement facilities. They must improve the placement facilities.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the hostel is not good. Many students join the nearby PGs. The food they serve is not nutritious. They don't serve the food at the proper time. The campus has a huge lawn where students can study and spend some time with their friends.
Faculty: Teachers here are very knowledgeable. They clear your doubts at any time, even one day before the exam. Exams are conducted two times a year. There are 3 internal tests in a semester. The overall teaching is good.
Other: Campus life is very good. I enjoy being on campus.

It has a really good infrastructure, and faculty members are excellent in their way.
Placements: About 50% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered is 7 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 5.6 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Many companies will visit and select good students on the basis of their communication skills and academics. I have learnt a lot here in the field of coding and how to execute it perfectly.
Infrastructure: There are good labs and classrooms here. They provide good food, and sports are also conducted. Hostels are good, but I stayed only for one year in the hostel. Later I left and joined in PG. Canteen facilities are very good, and they serve food according to the menu. Staff members in the canteen have a good relationship with students.
Faculty: Teachers here are really helpful and very good. The course curriculum is relevant because it makes students ready for industrial demands. The teaching quality is exceptionally good because we have good teachers, and they are very friendly.
Other: I have chosen this course because I am interested in BE in electronics. Fests are organised once a year.

If you are looking for a budget friendly college then you're at the right place.
Placements: The placement percentage for students in electronics and communication was around 80–90%. The highest package was INR 18 LPA, and the lowest was INR 2.4 LPA. Top recruiters were IBM, Amazon, and Flipkart. There is no guarantee of an internship from the college. Many roles were offered, such as front-end developer, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is decent and amazing and has all the facilities, like Wi-Fi, seminar halls, an auditorium, and a library. Classrooms are well-equipped with projectors. There are tournaments for multiple sports. The hostel is decent and good. I don't know much about the hostel, as I am a day scholar.
Faculty: The faculty members here are awesome, friendly, and knowledgeable, and their teaching is effective. They are ready to help in any scenario. Internals are a bit hard, as they aim to prepare students for VTU examinations, but the teachers are always ready to help.

The college has really good infrastructure with well supporting teachers.
Placements: There are no placements, but the college is better than average. Nowadays, most of the companies started coming for campus selection. You can spend 4 years peacefully. Last year, Wipro, Infosys and Concentrix visited our college for placements. There will be no fear about the placements in our college.
Infrastructure: The facilities provided are good compared to other colleges, and you have a good environment in the college campus. And for games and extra-curricular activities, there is separate staff, and also indoor games, gym and good labs are available in KNS Institute of Technology. Events are conducted in the college, and the scholarships are also available to the students.
Faculty: The teachers are very good, and they help us with all actions. The quality of teaching is average, but it is more than enough, as we will be on the campus more than the classes. You can enjoy on the college campus, as we can see friendly teachers in KNS Institute of Technology.

Other: The college is good and the faculty is also good. One thing which is lacking here is creativity. We never had a chance to grow in terms of the extra-curricular activities. Also, there is no campus drive for students falling in the 2nd class division.

A:

KNS Institute of Technology had conducted admissions for the BTech courses. To get into KNS Institute of Technology, 70% percentile is more than sufficient with a score of 140. However, students can also get admission at a percentile of 60 for the related counselling. Further, there is an COMEDK eligibility percentage criteria for students which they need adhere to. For more details, candidates can check the information given below.

  • The qualifying examinations prescribed for admission for B.E./B.Tech is the second PUC or 10+2 Higher Secondary or equivalent examination recognised by State/Central Government; the last two years of study shall comprise of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with English as a compulsory subject.
  • The General Merit candidates should have passed with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% in respect of SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka State) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and should have passed these subjects individually. Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Computer Science or Electronics as one optional subject. However, changes, if any, in the eligibility criteria by the AICTE/VTU will be adopted.

Course Curriculum Structuring for B.E./B.Tech at KNS Institute of Technology

The course curriculum at KNS Institute of Technology for B.E./B.Tech programs is structured to cover both theoretical and practical aspects of the respective fields. Here's what our research reveals:

* IT Industry Relevance: While some faculty members mentioned that the course curriculum is not directly related to the IT industry, others stated that the curriculum is designed to make students ready for industrial demands.

Here are the specifics for each program:

# CSE (Computer Science Engineering)

* The curriculum covers topics such as programming languages, data structures, algorithms, computer networks, software engineering, and database management systems.
* Faculty members emphasized the importance of focusing on theory, while others highlighted the need to balance theory with practical applications.

# ECE (Electronics and Communication Engineering)

* The curriculum includes subjects like digital logic design, microprocessors, electronic circuits, analog communication systems, and microwave engineering.
* Students reported that the faculty members are knowledgeable and helpful, making the learning experience positive.

# CVE (Civil Engineering)

* The curriculum covers topics such as mechanics of solids, structural analysis, transportation engineering, water resources engineering, and construction technology.
* Although details regarding the curriculum structure were scarce, students praised the faculty members' dedication to teaching and supporting students.

# Mechanical Engineering

* The curriculum includes subjects like mechanical measurements, thermodynamics, machine design, and manufacturing processes.
* Similar to other departments, students appreciated the faculty members' expertise and willingness to guide them.

# ISE (Industrial Engineering)

* The curriculum covers topics such as operations research, production planning, supply chain management, and human factors engineering.
* Unfortunately, limited information was available regarding the course curriculum structure for ISE.

Overall, the course curriculum at KNS Institute of Technology aims to equip students with a strong foundation in their respective fields, preparing them for future challenges and opportunities. However, some areas require improvement, particularly in balancing theory with practice and ensuring relevance to the IT industry.
