My life at KJC—Extremely happily spent years, good teaching faculty, and campus.
Placements: There were around 400 students in the psychology batch, which was divided into various batches. 100 students were placed. The package was a maximum of 400,000 per annum. Big Four, NGOs, and various organizations are the recruiters. Many students got internships at IIT and NIMHANS.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and the library are all very nice. The infrastructure is beyond good. The college manages the CMI fathers. There are 5 canteens on campus, 2 medical rooms, a basketball court, a music room, and other extracurricular activity rooms. The college also provides NSS and NCC training.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and friendly. All of them are highly qualified, NET qualified, Ph.D. holders, and psychologists. The teaching quality is 10/10. All classes are smart classes. Exams are based on courses. The pass percentage is 45%. The course curriculum is very nice. It might seem hectic, but it's all worth it in the end. It includes more practical and exposure knowledge than theoretical.
Other: To become a psychologist, I had to do a Master's in Clinical Psychology. The best aspects of my course were field visits, practicals, and in-house fests. Publications, dissertations, seminars, and conferences contributed significantly to both professional and personal growth.

It is a good college to study in.
Placements: There were 72% of students who were placed during my years in the course. The highest salary package offered is 6 lacs per annum and the lowest package offered is 3 lacs per annum. The top recruiting colleges are Sree Drama Krishna Hospital and Anan International Schools. The top two roles are school counselor and psychologist.
Infrastructure: The college facilities are very good and decent. The infrastructure is good. The classrooms, library and labs are clean and good. The Wi-Fi facility is good in college. The facilities in the hostel were good, and the quality of the food was very good. I served biryani for a week.
Faculty: All faculty members are very dedicated and experts in their fields. They are very friendly. They graduated from top universities. The course curriculum is easy to understand. Semester exams are conducted at the college very strictly. The pass percentage is 36%.
Other: I opted for my course because of my interest.

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty and the good placements for MBA and M.Sc. Psych.
Placements: The package offer starts at 35,000, and a lot of students have gotten into internships at this college as soon as they get out of it. And the college has a great tie-up with the best colleges, and that helps us grow in those fields. More than 80% of students have been recruited for placement in college.
Infrastructure: This college has a lot of facilities and amenities. Classes, libraries, labs, etc. are provided by the college. Wi-Fi is available all over the college, and we can use it for studying purposes. The college provides three main canteens. All kinds of food are available for the students. Hostels are also there. Medical facilities and sports are also available at the college.
Faculty: Masters are difficult, and we also have to work hard to achieve them. Teachers are highly qualified, as are people who have Ph.D.s too. They help them study very much and help them gain knowledge as well. Semester exams are a bit hectic but still, they actually help us in the future.
Other: In Kerala they don't provide M.Sc. industrial psychology. So I was very fond of this course, which they have provided. A lot of events and programs are given by the colleges like ethnic day, sports day, annual day, etc.

Good infrastructure, facilities, and green campus, a good curriculum, and average placements.
Placements: It was 45% for to place in a course, the highest was 90% and the lowest was 45% in our course. It was the TK company for our course. It was 60% of students got internships from our course and in TK company and the top role offered in our course was a junior engineer in civil engineering.
Infrastructure: The facilities available inside the college are very good and there are 3 spacious and resource-filled libraries. Lab facilities and tools available are also adequate. The hostel is not available inside the college campus but around the college run by different organizations and affiliated with the college. Several PGs for boys and girls with varied prices and options exist. Mess ranging from Kerala, South, and North Indian foods are available every month.
Faculty: The course curriculum is good, provides good theoretical foundations and there are at least 2 practicals per semester that add to the theory being studied. Assignments and various activities including seminars and practical records add to the assessment mark considered. The semester exams vary in difficulty. General, Clinical, and Counseling psychology exists, with a general stream providing clinical and industrial psychology specialization in the second year.
Other: The course provides a wider basis to extend the theoretical knowledge especially if you are coming from an integrated course in your undergraduate. The college timing is an almost full day in your PG and that differs based on your streams and for each day. College fests are awesome and participating is not restricted but has auditions. The connection between teachers and students could be more but again that depends and varies. The campus is so green and soothing.

Our college provides no internships, poor department functioning, and needlessly expensive.
Placements: I am studying clinical psychology. This is the first batch of students studying this particular specialisation. College does not provide internships, there are no collaborations with mental hospitals or NGOs. Students are basically supposed to arrange everything themselves.
Infrastructure: College has tie-up with hostels. They are like convent schools and no sense of privacy. I would recommend moving into a PG or an apartment. The cost of living is low, it is a semi-urban area.
Faculty: Qualifications and knowledge in a subject are not equal to competence in teaching. The passion for teaching and ability to build rapport with students is a separate skill.
Other: The psychology department is understaffed, and some are clueless and unhelpful. College has no tie-ups with any hospitals for internships. The burden of contacting hospitals and coordinating with the college falls on the students. Practicals are not at all systematic. The professors simply rush to finish the portion. College has annoying rules about dress code and appearance. They are very judgmental of students who color their hair or wear sleeveless clothes and take extreme measures to correct these behaviors. They require students to have at least 85% attendance, which is fine, but they take attendance for fests and extracurricular events, and include this in the total attendance. Apart from the course fees, they charge examination fees. They have no reservations about making students pay for their own travel expenses on field trips.
