Placements: Placements are not available here. However, our college reputation is enough to get placements in any company because it's the best college for home science not only in India but also in Asia.
Placements: The college doesn't offer placements after B.Sc. as it is a basic undergraduate degree. Professional degrees like B.Tech get placements. But for a job, you need to do at least M.Sc. or B.Ed after B.Sc. as it sets your basic. I am going to pursue M.Sc. from the same college now, and after that, I will go for PhD.
Placements: The college is pretty good at providing placements. The placement cell is good. Our college provides placements to around 80-90%. Every year students got placements in companies like WHO, FSSAI, Nestle, etc. Almost 70-80% of the students got hired, and the rest go for further studies. Top roles offered are as a technical brewer, chef, research field, nutritional therapist, quality manager, etc.
Placements: About 97-99% of students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Amul and Cadbury visit our college to hire students from our course. Students get good placements after doing a post-graduation course. Only B.Sc. Home Science, i.e., under graduation course is not enough. We do not get placements after this under graduation course. Students need to do a post-graduation as well. So before you think of placements, make sure to do a post-...
Placements: Most of the students are placed in this course. You can do master's in dietician or nutritionist or you can take food technology. There are most of the courses that our college provides to students and many students got internships in our course or college as well.
Placements: Usually the admission cutoffs open at 88-90% and close at 84-85%, so getting admission here is not as difficult as other major colleges in DU. But the drawback is this college only offers courses in Home Science, Food technology and B.Ed. Besides this there are no placement or internship promises here. Most students don't get placements after graduation. Career options after Masters degree are Dietician, Nutritionist, or fashion related careers, also being a teacher or professor in the same fiel...
Placements: There is no such placement cell for the university itself. Lady Irwin College's faculty does give very good exposure for a better understanding in the future courses. The education is good enough to have your own private setup or clinic for that matter.
Placements: People get good placements after doing a post-graduation course. Only B.Sc. home science, i.e., the under graduation course is not enough. We do not get placements after this under graduation course. Students need to do a post-graduation as well. So before you think of placements make sure to do a post-graduation as well.
Placements: We have no information about placements. I don't think our college provides any placements. Most of the students in our college preferred doing a Masters degree before for a specialisation in the particular subject, and it's better as well because home science is quite a vast degree.
Placements: There are around 225 students in our course. There is a placement cell in our college that helps students get internships or jobs. Not every student gets these internship opportunities. There are various roles offered in our course, and students are willing to take those.
Placements: Lady Irwin College lacks behind the other Delhi University affiliated colleges at providing placements. As blunt as it may seem, but it doesn't offer any placements. Summer internships are done by food technology students during summer breaks. Internships are usually offered by Mother Diary, Delhi Milk Scheme and Britannia.
Placements: Delhi University provides best placement opportunities. Top companies which recruit students from our college are Nestle, VLCC, etc. Placements are good if the student is able to maintain a good CGPA and is involved in extracurricular activities. The person will surely get a good placement.
Placements: There is no placement cell in our college. You have to find job yourselves, and the faculty members or college doesn't care about if you are getting the job or not. None of our batchmates got a job, and all of us are still sitting unemployed. The college claims to have a placement cell, but it's a lie.
Placements: Around 50% of the students get placed but not from the college. They find jobs by themselves. Everyone got internships during the course in good organisations. Top recruiting companies based on the course opt for, but the students get good jobs after college.
Placements: You should have at least 90% of marks in your 12th standard to get admission here. The highest salary offered here is 2 lac per month, and the lowest salary offered is around Rs. 15,000 to 20,000 per month. The average salary offered is around Rs. 50,000 to 60,000 per month. You can do work in the hospital as a dietician or a teacher, or a professor. If you want to be a dietitian, you have to do your internship in reputed hospitals.
Placements: Our college has a placement fair and a placement cell. Various seminars and workshops are conducted to guide students. Major recruiting companies include food-based industries like Mother Dairy, Britannia, Nestle, etc. The process of recruitment is generally based on your experience in the field.
Placements: Most of the students opt for a master's after B.Sc. in food technology, so only a few of them get a job after B.Sc. There is no placement cell for food technology students, but the faculty members help us in getting contacts for internships and jobs.
Placements: The college does not provide internships for under graduate students its only in the post graduate that college provides internships. The same is true for the placement as well. After m.sc. you can get placement in good organisation as they also provide internships for their m.sc. students, especially the hdcs department provides 100% placements.
Placements: Most of the students of my batch are placed in various non-government organisations and corporate organisations. The average package offered ranged between 25,000-35,000 per month. The college has provided placements to every student based on their skills and interest in the domain. The top roles offered in the course are data analyst, monitoring and evaluation specialist, gender specialist, communication officer or manager, information communication technology (IEC) officer, corporate social re...
