It is a perfect college for girls.

Placements: There are no direct placements from our college, and students get placed by teachers approach. The recruitment companies are Nestle, Cadbury, Kellogg's, etc. The top role got by students is a dietician. As there are no direct placements, I don't have an idea about salary packages. Our college doesn't provide internships, so students did on their own contacts.

I have enjoyed campus life, and it is a lot of worth taking admission in this college.

Placements: There are no placement opportunities in our college as they don't provide any opportunity to explore fields to define our career and more successful life. They should provide opportunities so that students can know what is good and bad for them. Even they don't provide internships.

The 6th best college among Delhi University colleges.

Placements: Placements in this college are quite good as the college provides a lot of opportunities for our bright future and career. As it is a vast course, you get to choose among the various fields available. I am not sure about placements for undergraduate courses, I will get to know about it when I pass the current year.

Faculty members are good, but the college urgently needs a placement cell.

Placements: We don't have a placement cell in college which is disappointing. However, the faculty members are helpful in informing us about opportunities, though a placement cell would be more preferred and effective. We don't get to find out about various companies and opportunities because of this.

Very satisfied with academics and extracurricular activities that groom students.

Placements: Students are provided with many internship opportunities by teachers, and students also apply for internships on their own in Bikanervala, FSSAI, Delhi Milk Scheme, etc. Teachers also informed us about many job opportunities in quality control, production, and processing in food processing companies. Stipends were not offered during internships. The college doesn't have a placement cell. Placements were handled mainly by the HOD of the food technology department and the teachers also posted job ...

Pretty satisfied with the college. Everybody over here tries to break the stigma of "home Science.

Placements: There are no such placements at undergraduate level but placement cell is quote prominent for B.Ed and post graduation as well. B.Ed provides 100% placement. College placement cell provides placements within the college. Teachers also help in getting placed with their personal contacts.

Satisfied with the college facilities.

Placements: There were no placements provided by the college. However, there are college placements for M.Sc students. As the M.Sc courses offer specialisation, it is easier for companies to place students from that course. This could be one reason why they do not place bachelor's students.

A good overall environment, with friendly faculty and amazing subjects.

Placements: Placements are for B.Ed department. Also taking up extra Diploma course can help placing you directly in companies, M.Sc. is of great help to those who want to be working women in future. Being in first year I do not have much experience about placement criteria but the course adders you to study subject which are accepted in almost all organisations and firms.

Breaking the stereotypes since 1932.

Placements: My seniors have been placed in some very esteemed organisations across the country with a good pay in exchange for the acquired skill set. Many acknowledged and renowned companies approach the institution to hire students. Everyone seems to be happy and content with their job profiles which also provides them with a scope of progression always.

The infrastructure is average but they have the best faculty of Delhi University.

Placements: The college doesn't have a placement cell of its own. It is only with the central placement of Delhi University that students can apply. Although the college provides internship, the students but students prefer to do the internships at their places of interest in various fields like nutrition, communication, human development, etc.

Lady Irwin College is a unit of Delhi University. It has an amazing crowd with no such restrictions in dress code or so. It offers only science courses which are a lot in demand in coming years. The college has a brand name and it valuable for both scholastic and co-scholastic areas. The atmosphere of the college provides guidance for overall development of the student. As the college is in the center hub of Delhi- hence, it provides a source of entertainment to students even outside the college...

It was completely an interactive and experiential course. Since, it was a vocational course it gave me the opportunity to study in 5 different fields, they are - Resource Management, Child Development, Communication, Nutrition and Apparel Science. Working practically with all these subjects helped me gained my area of interest for further studies. This College is best if one wants to go in any of the above fields.
