Placements: The placements are not at all good on the campus. I'm not hoping for the placement from this college. There is a department for placement, but they are not showing many efforts for the college students. The average package for the students is 4-5 lacs per annum. About, 40-50 percent students are placed on the campus.
Placements: Talking about the placements, we have a placement cell called WINGS. Placements provided by LBC are average. We had an internship fair few months back, but I was not satisfied because most of the companies demanded night duty jobs. The placement cell of our college keeps us updated with the latest jobs available, which is quite good.
Placements: The placement cell of the college is only 2 years old. The placement cell usually offers jobs of the range 3-4 Lacs per annum, and the profile of the jobs is usually that of call centres. Since the cell is very new, it does not have the established contacts that employ the students in bulk. The top companies that come are BPOs. For the course of Economics Hons., it is not helpful to rely on college for placements.
Placements: As I am in the 3rd year right now, only one placement cell is held right now. So as of my experience, no finance and accounts profiles in placements. There are good placements for profiles like marketing and sales. Companies like Eureka Forbes, Rhiti Sports Complex, Lenskart, etc. were present at the placement cell.
Placements: The placements of the college are poor. It is just by chance if you get placed. There are hardly any companies that come and visit, that too with very few openings. There are no internship opportunities available. The package offered is 2-3 lacs. The roles offered are also general and not stream specific.
Placements: There are as such no placements which take place as it is a graduation college. Only a few companies visit the campus and select students from all streams. The package offered was 3-4 lacs. The college does not provide any internship opportunities to the students as it is not a part of the course curriculum.
Placements: Placement opportunities were not provided in the college, so students had to apply off-campus. There were no internship opportunities as well. Although placement cell was created in 2016, that is when I was in the final year. Till now, efforts are being done by the placement cell to bring more companies into the college.
Placements: The placement cell of the college, Wings, was created in 2016. Not many companies visited for my batch. TPDDL recruited a few students from the 2016 batch. After that, the placements have improved and many companies are visiting the college like Inkpot, Amex, etc.
Placements: Placement cell was created in the year 2016, that is when I was in the final year. So there were only a few companies which visited for recruitment like TPDDL and placed a few students from our batch. There has been improvement and the placement cell is making consistent efforts to bring the companies to the campus.
Placements: No placement drive took place which was a complete disappointment. But now, the cell is active. I had to finally opt for CPC placements. Companies like Genpact, Tata Power and Delhi Distribution came for placements. The placement cell had been quite inactive for a few years and no rigorous efforts were made to bring companies to our college.
College is good. Since it is a government college , fee is nominal. The faculty is good and well experienced. Infrastructure is average. No guarantee for placements here. Programmes such as annual function, fests etc are also held regularly. Regular class tests take place. Internal tests are given equal importance as external exams. The campus is neither too big nor too congested.
Delhi University College are not for the purpose of academics. Teacher did not take active role to teach and it's only students, who upgrade their marks on its own. If you are some fashion freak, then apply for this college unless not worth it. This college is just like school, no one appreciate your talent instead they demoralize you. Some teacher’s favorite pet only get the opportunity to show case their talent.
The teaching faculty is really good. Teachers understand students' preferences and they are the best at what they do. Although a few more facilities could be added like Wi-Fi and a proper auditorium. But the college is best for its economics course and teachers who care about the students.
Academically speaking, the college is good, but the campus life is not fun. Transport facilities are poor. Otherwise, staff and teachers of this college are good and helpful by nature. College fests are okay in my opinion. College trips are too costly. Library is good. College canteen is not spacious enough to accommodate so many students.
Placements: There are indeed options for internships provided by our college, but as for economics, opportunities are limited. There are not many internships available specifically for economics students in our college. Placements according to our college are available for 80% of students.
Placements: Placements were average in our college, and many students got placed in NGOs. The highest salary package offered ranges from 2 LPA to 4 LPA. The placement cell was good, and they try their best to invite top companies. The placement cell works very hard, but placements were difficult after graduation.
Placements: Around 50% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered is 7 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 1 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. About 40% of the students got on-campus internships in companies like Sharekhan and Bajaj Capital.
Placements: Around 36% students were placed in this course. The average package offered in my course was of 3 lacs per annum. Few companies visited the college for placements. The main role offered was of research analyst and data analyst.
Placements: I am pursuing BA (Hons) business economics, and I belong to 2019-2022 batch. A very low percentage of students get placements which are up to the mark. The highest salary package offered in our course is around 2.5 LPA.
