Review of LBS College of Engineering.
Placements: There are 60 students in each class. I am having a fee of 35,000 rupees per year. Infosys, Cognizant, TCS, etc., are recruiting companies that come to college every year, mainly recruiting for engineering roles. The college is providing training sessions for the recruitment process.
Infrastructure: We have well-arranged and maintained infrastructure, including all kinds of labs with faculty members assigned to each infrastructure. We have a well-maintained and clean canteen with good and healthy food, and also good hostel facilities in our college, which students are well satisfied with.
Faculty: We have nice faculty members who provide all help in the syllabus and exams. It is a semester-wise examination, which is considered as annual exams. The syllabus is really good and makes students ready to do projects and get ready to join the industry for professions.
Other: We have 6 branches in the college (CSE, IT, EC, EEE, MECH, CIVIL).

Good placements, infrastructure and faculty.
Placements: Placements for the 2016 batch were better than that of 2017 batch. Infosys, IBM, CTS, CSS Corp were among the top recruiters. On-campus placements outweighed in the year 2016. Majority of the recruiters were from the IT industry. Overall, there were average placements in the year 2017.
Infrastructure: The campus is spread over 52 acres. There is a building dedicated to each department. We have state of the art laboratories. We also have a Wi-Fi facility, basketball and volleyball courts. There are well-equipped hostels for both boys and girls inside the campus. There is an amphitheatre with 200 members seating capacity. There are well-equipped classrooms and seminar halls.
Faculty: The college followed Kannur University curriculum till 2018 batch, and it currently follows Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Kerala Technological University's curriculum. It is a government self-financing college headed by the chief minister of Kerala. There are highly qualified faculty members including IIT and NIT alumni.

Best college in Kerala, best college for B.Tech.
Placements: Good college if you want to be placed in IT sector. Core companies did not visit till 2013. Only companies like Wipro, Foradian and some startup companies which are started by our college students came for the recruitment drive. Only after 2014, many reputed companies came to the college like DELL, Infosys, Accenture, IBM. More than 30 students from our college got placed in 2013. After 2014, the placement cell is being good and more than 75 students got recruited. They all got job opening as software developers. Few students got selected for internship. The salary package offered starts from 2.5 LPA to 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure, faculty, library and all cultural facilities etc. are very good. The college is well equipped with amenities for both the students and faculty. The department has an excellent laboratory, infrastructural facilities and the students are trained in the following laboratories to enhance their practical skills. Food quality in the canteen is not that good. They keep changing the staff for canteen every time. Mostly, the students go outside the campus for food. The hostel rooms are also good and maintained neatly. They provide separate hostels for juniors, seniors.
Faculty: Across seven academic departments, our college has more than 150 faculty members committed to the highest standards of teaching, research and service. The HOD, tutor- all have master's degree. They are very good in the knowledge. Mainly our computer science teachers are good in what they are teaching. During the final year of college, there are may be several teachers which are guest. They are not that experienced but good enough to solve all doubts of the students. There are also some teachers who have zero knowledge and zero experience but they gave full attendance even if you don't sit in the class.
Other: Our campus is located outside a rocky place, so the weather here is too hot; You can't sit in the classroom in the month of March. They won't have any water at this time. Mainly, the college will be closed this time. Other than these, our campus has a name. Doing B.Tech from this campus always has a value. Here I found a peaceful environment to study. This college is ragging free.
