GECI - An unseen wonder in the middle of the hills.
Placements: The college seems to have a firm grasp on placements here. Maximum opportunities are provided for the last year students from the placement cell of GECI. In addition, the cell provides proper guidance and mentoring focused on aptitude and interview sessions. IT collects maximum offers due to its current relevance in the field. Also, GECI provides opportunities for internships for all the interested students. The top roles offered by different companies include software developer and designer posts. The packages offered so far range from 3 to 6 LPA. The college has mandatory guidance over the placements as well as internships for its students.
Infrastructure: Top-level infrastructure. All the departments have equal priority in construction with additional facilities of Wi-Fi. Classrooms are well constructed with projectors and digital equipment. A well-equipped library is at the heart of the college. The ladies' hostel provides a good and clean mess and accommodation. An affordable range of fees.
Faculty: Qualified faculty for all departments. Efficient teaching by professionals. The mentorship is good enough to make the students capable of dealing with the industries. The faculty provides maximum support to make the sense easier for the students. The college has an above 80% pass percentage.
Other: Because of the cool and calm, composed atmosphere of the college, it provides a good mentality for peaceful studying. No ragging or any harassment.

A college with a good climate. Some satisfaction with guest faculty members, but the lacks events.
Placements: About 50% of the students are placed in our course. The highest package is around INR 1 lakh, and the lowest package is INR 5000. An average of about INR 25,000 is offered. The top recruiting companies are Wipro, Qburst, Experian, TCS, and so on. The top roles offered are cybersecurity offices, software developers, etc.
Infrastructure: There are well-developed classrooms, a library, two computer labs, and one robotics lab. Wi-Fi is also available. Facilities in hostels are also above average. The quality of the food is also good. Somewhat dissatisfied with the hostel's Wi-Fi and the maintenance of the facilities in the hostel.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are highly qualified. A little satisfaction is there about the guest lecturers. They are helpful as well as knowledgeable. The course curriculum is somewhat relevant. Semester exams are not very difficult. The pass percentage is 30%.

College review of GEC Idukki.
Placements: Under 50% of students gets placed through campus placement. Placement training and aptitude test are practiced. 25000 is the average package given for freshers. TCS IBM Tata motors are some of the companies that often regularly comes to college for placement recruitment.
Infrastructure: Free Wi-Fi is available with a average rating. Classrooms are comfortable with a good space and can accomodate more than 60 students. Library is available with books for every semester within the syllabus provided. Also penalty charge is taken for any delay in book submission. Hostel rent is very low and hostel mess food is of average. Mess bill will be under 3000 each month. Canteen has average rating of food quality.
Faculty: Teachers take classes according to the academic calendar. Teaching quality is average. Self study with resources available from library or ktu sits often helps students. Semester examinations are moderate to difficult for most of the times. Evaluation is very strict. Pass percentage is fair enough.
Other: Arts, teach fest and sports happens according to the academic calendar. Inter college competitions also happens. There are various clubs like IEDC, IEEE and student communities in the college. Scholarships are available for most of the students whose income comes under 1 Lacs per annum. Different criteria is applicable for different scholarships.

The college is very good, and it has many labs and good infrastructure.
Placements: Based on the caliber of students, the placements are offered. 7.5 LPA is the highest package offered, and the lowest salary is 20,000 per month. TCS, Wipro, Keyvalue, Infosys and Google come here. IT engineer is the top role offered. I am very happy to be a part of this college. All the facilities and guidance are very good and lovable.
Infrastructure: We have all the facilities. Labs are available. Free Wi-Fi is available on campus and also in the hostel. The hostel has a very good environment, and we have mess. We have a good campus life. Campus life is just admiring, and I love it.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and have good knowledge. The exams are moderate. All the teachers have the best qualifications, and 2 of our teachers are PhD holders. We are provided with all the facilities. Everyone will love this college and college life here.
Other: Campus life is very good.

Government engineering college idukki.
Placements: About 20% of the students get placed in our course. The highest salary offered was Rs. 30,000 per month and the lowest salary offered was Rs. 15,000 per month. Companies like TCS, Infosys are companies which come for the placement. Total of 65 jobs were offered by tier 1 companies like TCS, Infosys Wipro etc. To a maximum salary package of 4.2 lacs CTC for the students of GEC Idukki.
Infrastructure: Our college provides various facilities to the students and staff members. GEC Idukki facilities include separate hostel facilities for both boys and girls Library operations are computerised using SOUL software. GEC Idukki facilities include a canteen that serves delicious and hygienic food at reasonable prices. The Co-operative Society, which is located on the college campus, provides for students' daily needs such as stationery and textbooks. Auditorium, Wi-Fi, IT infrastructure, transport facility, internet facility and laboratories are some other GEC Idukki facilities.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified and friendly. Teaching quality is good and easily understandable. The course curriculum is highly helpful and easy to understand. To pass any theory or practical, candidate must obtain 18.1 minimum 35% marks in each theory paper. Minimum 50% marks in each practical marks.
Other: Freshers day, arts, sports, tech fest, women's day, Holi festival, Onam celebrations are done. College is very active in case of colouful events. All the students are so co-operative and gets the events success.
