Really good infrastructure, faculty and atmosphere.
Placements: Mostly in ME, placements are less but in our batch lot of IT companies came and more than 50 percent of students are placed in different companies. Last year, TCS, Infosys, QC, TATA consultancy like companies visit the campus to select students. Federal Bank also came for recruitment, that is the highlight of the last year.
Infrastructure: I think our college has the best labs and infrastructure. Almost every machinery is available for our future development. Good faculty and very good cad lab is there. Our hostel Life is different from other colleges because we have different hostels for different years students. Food is provided based on preference.
Faculty: There are well-qualified teachers who can solve our doubt and support us for improvement. Mechanical engineering is one of the base of all engineering, it is improving and so we have to learn from every other batches also, that improves our knowledge in surrounding situations.
Other: I chose this course because l am more like physical job than an office job. Every month, different activities and fests happen.

LBS College of Engineering is the only good college in Kasaragode district.
Placements: The college didn't provide core placement offers for mechanical engineering students. The college provides placements in IT companies. Some of the mechanical students get placed in IT companies. Students of branches like CS, IT, and EC get placed in the companies related to their field. Sometimes, some mechanical companies visit the college for placements, but only a few students get placed.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of LBS College of Engineering is good. There are separate buildings for each department. There are separate workshops and labs, and they are good. Most of the equipment in our college is too old. Lab facilities for mechanical students are fabulous and are in good working condition. The college also offers M.Tech in mechanical engineering.
Faculty: The college offers electrical and electronics, computer science, information technology, electronics and communication, mechanical and civil branches. Temporary staff members are available in most of the streams. However, it will not effect the academics. They are friendly and helpful to all students. They provide printed notes to students.
Other: Every year, arts and sports are conducted by the college union. Clubs like IEEE, IEDC, and placement cell conduct workshop in our college. There is a central library with a great collection of books. There is also a centralised attendance system that helps both parents and students to view the academic details of students online.

As an overall LBS is a good college providing good faculty members.
Placements: Students are getting placed in reputed companies like IBM and Wipro with an average of 10 Lacs per annum. Like other colleges in Kerala there is no placement for mechanical students but for CS it and other branches placements. Each year the intake is getting high as on the year 2016 more than 104 have been placed.
Infrastructure: The campus covers 52 acres facilitating sports games and other culturals. They provide quality education especially for mechanical branch it is one of the best in malabar. The college canteen is cheap and the hostel facilities are good. But the hostel buildings should be inside the campus premis as for now final years and the girls are having hostel near the campus.
Faculty: The student-faculty ratio is 50:1. Every branch has got skilled tutors. The faculty members are dedicated and possess great teaching skills. The students are well exposed to the tools and materials from their respective workshops and from the industrial visit.
Other: The college is known for their cricket football teams. The campus environment is in such a way that a student can enjoy and study.

Dissatisfied due to its surroundings and the political clash in the college.
Placements: There will be good placements, especially for the computer science and electronics. Also, the placements for the IT companies like IBM every year around a hundred student got jobs through campus placements. For the mechanical students, there are no placements. But, they can participate in interviews for the IT companies.
Infrastructure: THere will be a full Wi-Fi around the campus. Also, there will be a good collection of books in the library. There will be a separate library for the mechanical department which consists of 500 volumes for reference. There is also a separate ground for the cricket, football, basketball badminton, an indoor court for the badminton. Also, hostel facilities for girls and final year boys are available here.
Faculty: One of the main drawbacks of the college is its lack of the permanent staff in the college, in the civil and the electronic branches. But for the mechanical branch, there are well-qualified teachers. They teach both theoretically and practically. Also, there will be conduction of regular exams. Also, there will be very good classrooms containing 8 fans, lights, etc.
Other: There will be scholarships for the top rankers in each department, Kannur university Kalotsavam will also be conducted here. Main drawback of the college is that there will be the worst people around the campus and a political clash in the college.
