Genuine and inside review of MVGR.
Placements: Nearly 90% of students are eligible for placements, and 80% of eligible students got placed in IT companies. Various big companies like IBM, Accenture, and TCS also participate in placements. Nearly 900 job offers were made last year.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good with a lot of greenery and sitting tables for students. Blocks are well maintained, and classrooms, benches, and washrooms are kept clean. College has a top-notch library with all resources and study spaces. Labs are pretty good with a decent Wi-Fi connection. Medical facilities are available. Canteen food is sometimes good, sometimes bad, it needs improvement. MVGR has a great sports complex with opportunities for all kinds of indoor and outdoor games.
Faculty: Some Faculty members are experienced and good in their subjects, while others are not as experienced. However, some senior faculty members are exceptional in their subjects. Course is 100% relevant to the curriculum. It includes real-world scenario subjects like design thinking and idea processes, which make students industry-ready.
Other: I chose this course due to current trend in IT and my desire to get placed in a good IT company. I think more student activities and interactions with students are needed. Events have decreased due to the change of new principal. Extracurricular activities are decent. A good thing about this college is its peaceful surroundings. It is also ragging-free.

Absolutely happy with joining this college and has very good faculty with a high placement rate.
Placements: I'm a student studying at MVGRCE right now, pursuing a B.Tech in mechanical engineering. The placement rate has been above 80% with an average of 4-5 LPA and with the highest package this year of 22 Lacs in ECE and 18 LPA in mechanical engineering. Companies like Hyundai, Tata, etc. are famous companies recruited in our college.
Infrastructure: The college has everything in it. It has the best infrastructure in terms of classrooms and labs. The college has a library with over 10,000 books in it, and every week new books are added. Even the library has weekly magazines. The hostel is so hygienic with tasty food. The hostel fee is also reasonable. Games in college are widely promoted. Canteen provides some very amazing food at very reasonable prices.
Faculty: The teachers are so friendly and very well behaved. They teach about life too, alongside studies. The teaching quality is so good. The course curriculum is very good and healthy for the industrial environment. The students are made industrially ready by real industrial visits, etc. Passing the semester exams is moderately tough, but the passing percentage is above 70%.
Other: Mechanical engineering in MVGRCE is the ebst around all the other colleges near Visakhapatnam and Vivanagaram. The best thing about the course is the futuristic learning process and very trained staff. The one thing I wish is to improve the course duration (semester duration). The college has a good amount of events and festivals. The campus is vast and very beautiful, with lots of greenery.

    Review of my engineering college.
Placements: As a lateral entry student who joined in 2023, I can say that the placement record is impressive, with approximately 90% of students placed last year. Every student seemed satisfied with the opportunities they received. I am pursuing Chemical Engineering, and our department attracts companies like Hetero and Deccan Chemicals for recruitment.
Infrastructure: The college offers well-equipped labs for every department and course. Solar panels ensure uninterrupted power during power cuts. Facilities include a digital library and digital classrooms, complemented by a green and peaceful environment. There is a canteen and a freshers' choice hub, providing adequate food options. The food quality in both boys' and girls' hostels is okay.
Faculty: The faculty members are friendly, highly trained, and experienced. They teach the subjects effectively, addressing all student doubts and providing quality study material. Special attention is given to students who need extra academic support, ensuring they excel in their studies.

Wi-Fi is available in classrooms for software downloads, while a digital library caters to the needs of hostel residents. The hostel offers quality food at its mess and ensures round-the-clock access to water and electricity. Sports facilities for basketball and volleyball are available.
Faculty: The teachers are supportive in their teaching approach, possessing extensive knowledge in their respective fields. The teaching quality remains commendable. However, passing the semester exams poses a challenge due to the rigorous syllabus for our batch, resulting in a passing percentage of 56%. The teachers hold qualifications up to Masters level.
