Placements: Placements in our college are not that good. We don't have our permanent campus, and no company prefer to recruit students from the college which doesn't have its permanent campus. Around 2-3 recruiters visited the campus, and I feel that working for them is a waste of time. The college doesn't offer any internships opportunities, and students have to arrange all sorts of placement activities outside our campus.
Placements: Placements in this college are not good. Only a handful of students were placed from our senior batch. Only a single student was placed from the entire B.Com (Hons) batch. There is no official information provided on the salary that is offered to the students who were placed, but it is said to be around 2.5-3 LPA.
Placements: The college does nothing to get their alumni placed. It can take you months to get a satisfying job, but things had changed now, there were few actions taken by the alumni themselves at the grassroot level.
Placements: There were no as such placements for Economics Hons in the college. Only few companies visited the College, and economics honours had their 1st batch that year. Therefore, placements were very less. And average salary which the companies brought was approximately 20,000 to 30,000 per month. And the role offered was also not related to the course studied.
Placements: The placements of my college are not good. Last year, companies like MakeMyTrip and Yatra.com visited the college for placements, but none of the seniors got a job. The stipend offered during internships was as high as Rs. 1,000 per month and the lowest was no stipend. Roles like marketing and content writing were offered. There is a placement cell, but that is hardly useful.
Placements: There is no proper placement cell, and placement scenario is extremely bad in college. The only way to get placed is going through central placement cell of Delhi University wherein you compete with all the students of Delhi University. Unlike north campus and other established colleges, the college doesn't have a proper placement cell, and if you're here for placements, you won't get placed from the college. It is better if you could apply for companies yourself or go for CPC.
Placements: Placements are just decent, not so good. Companies do come in our college but not all the students get placed! The placement percentage is not 100%. The lowest salary offered was 25000 per month and the highest salary was 60000 per month. 60-70% of students get placed.
Placements: No placements are provided in the college. The placement cell does not work properly. It works only on-paper and keeps the fund illegally. The maximum numbers of students don't know anything about the placement cell. Our principal and teachers do not work on the placements of the students. My college is located near Noida (a special economic zone), it is beneficial to our college, but we don't get benefits.
Placements: The placement cell is not very active. Well, there was None before 2015 or 2016 when I was under study. Secondly, most of the placements were used to be for the students from commerce background. However, this year I came to know from my juniors that there has been a placement and internship drive and it was a good one. Thirdly, no one from my batch or from the batch of seniors and super seniors (batch of 2012, 2013 and 2014) got placed by college. It is for Journalism stream basically. Though ...
Placements: There are no placement for the our courses. No placement cell is there in the college. Rarely companies come to our college. I advice to get a placement cell in the college. So that the placement percentage should improve and students get exposure.
Placements: There are not any attractive placement records in the college. Placements held through the main Delhi University offices, but in this view, our college lags behind others. Some companies do visit the main office, but like graduation, students get decent jobs. In B.tec and MBA programs it was better.
Placements: There are two types of campus placement here. They are on-campus and off-campus or pool campus. A group of colleges or institute conducts this job placement programs. And in this, jobs are offered as an off-campus placement. This job placement program is for the students from other institutions. This programme will also be conducted in common places, and it may be in a college or in some public place, where students from different colleges can also take part.
Placements: To be honest, the placements here at Maharaja Agrasen College are as bad as it can get. Let's just say that there are no placements at all and it is fair enough, since the college does not promise you that too (officially). But if you go to the Institute for admission, the staff there is going to tell you that they have a good placement society in place and you can get a decent job. But trust me, even after having a placement society, their functionality is questionable. From the 2014-17 batch o...
Placements: It is not a good college in terms of placements. The placement cell is inactive. You need to be self-dependent for placement in good companies. Due to inactive placement cell, big names do not come to the college. In our year, only Genpact came for placement, that too with the highest package of 2.8 lacs per annum.
Placements: Being honest, the placements at Maharaj Agrasen College are very poor as compared to any other Delhi University college. The placement cell does not do their work properly. There is always a lack of coordination in placements cell. My seniors have also passed out the college without any placements offer. The internship cell is also worthless as the placement cell, poor facility of the experienced teaching staff.
Placements: Placements in this college are abysmal. Though there is a placement cell, it is mostly dormant. Midterm internships are available like other colleges but chances of decent job offering at final placement session are bleak. So aspiring students have to depend on the university's placement cell which is open for all colleges. The few firms which do visit make offers which are by no means modest in the present business scenario.
Placements: The placement cell is just made by a group of students from the senior batches to get in contact with good companies. Around 861 students are placed in some past years. The lowest package is 1 lakh and the average package is 5 lakhs. Some top recruiting companies are Infosys, Libsys, Nagarro, Opera Solutions, Newgen, Accenture and Vinsol.
Placements: Not many students were placed from the college. About 10 to 15 students got placed. The average package was 3.5 lacs. Genpact and Tata Power visited the campus. Most of the students were placed in Tata Power.
1) It is a college cum school. 2) No elections are held. 3) Very few extracurricular activities. 4) Crowd is not good either. 5) Infrastructure is like a school. 6) No good placements. 7) Faculty is average. 8) Focus is on academics only. I had a good friend circle in college, so it wasn't too difficult for me to tolerate these anomalies.
