B.Tech. in Information Technology and Engineering - Batch of 2028

Worth the money in Delhi.
Placements: Around 60% of students were placed, with top recruiters being ZS Associates, Accenture, and TCS. The highest package was from DE Shaw for 57 LPA, and Atlassian gave 60 LPA to 3 students. A variety of roles were offered, with software development being the most prominent one.
Infrastructure: The campus is small in size yet equipped with good facilities and canteens. The classrooms and labs are equipped with AC, and good lighting, and Wi-Fi is provided on campus, which can be used when it is registered. The library is 5 floors, with AC and internet.
Faculty: The teachers and professors are well-known in their respective subjects, with a strong grasp of the topics. They are mostly helpful and ready to assist when needed. The course is relevant, with new specialized branches such as Data Science and Machine Learning.
Other: The fests have recently started to take place, and the crowd is decent when compared to other colleges under IPU. A lot of cultural and technical activities take place inside the campus by societies.

Really well maintained infrastructure but small in area, facilities are good.
Placements: Approximately 70% of students from CS-related branches were placed, with an average package of around 8 LPA, a highest package of 80 LPA, and the lowest package of 3 LPA. The top recruiters were Atlassian, QS Associates, TCS, and Accenture. Unfortunately, very few students got internships, and all of those were off-campus.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is well maintained and good. The classrooms are good and have air conditioning. The labs are also well maintained and have air conditioning. There is one main cafeteria and five other small canteens. There is a big ground and a badminton and basketball court. Medical facilities are also available on campus.
Faculty: The teachers at my college were really helpful and always tried to solve my doubts. However, the course curriculum was outdated, and we had to learn industrial study by ourselves. The semester exams were not that hard, in fact, they were quite easy. There were two midterms and one final exam, so it was quite hectic.
Other: I chose this college because it has an above average placement record, and the fees are lower than other colleges. However, I think more workshops would improve my course.

MAIT Review by ITE 2022-2026 Batch student!
Placements: In my course last year, almost 40 students were placed out of 60. Last year, the highest package offered was 30 LPA. But in our college on campus, the highest was 40 LPA; off campus, it was 95 LPA by Goldman Sachs. Companies like Amazon Dublin, Adobe, Honor AI, ZS Associates, etc. hired students last year. Generally, students get internships at startup-based companies.
Infrastructure: First of all, our college has a very small campus but is well designed. We have a huge library where students can study, or you can find most of the books in ours. Unfortunately, there is no Wi-Fi on our campus, which is really disappointing for students. We have a small football field, and we have multiple canteens where you can refresh. You can find PGs near colleges, where most students live.
Faculty: We have well-qualified professors, mostly with doctorate degrees, but I would not say they are knowledgeable. The course is designed in such a way that you will be industry-ready. We have two exams in each semester; one is the midterm college-level exam. And the second is the end-term examination, which is the university-level exam. Both are easy to pass because of lenient checking.

MAIT: A great choice for quality education, impressive placements, and an engaging campus life.
Placements: Placements for the B.Tech IT branch at MAIT Delhi are excellent, with around 70-80% of students placed each year. The highest package offered to IT students in the last batch was 65 LPA, the lowest was 5.5 LPA, and the average package ranged between 10-15 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, and Capgemini, and product-based companies like Amazon and Paytm. About 60% of students secure internships in companies such as Tech Mahindra, Wipro, and startups, which provide hands-on experience in the industry. The most common roles offered are software developer, IT analyst, web developer, cloud engineer, and system administrator. The placement support team ensures students have ample opportunities to prepare for interviews and improve employability.
Infrastructure: MAIT provides excellent infrastructure for CSE students, including well-equipped labs, high-speed Wi-Fi, modern classrooms, and a rich library with access to e-resources. The hostel facilities are decent, with comfortable rooms and a hygienic mess offering a variety of cuisines. The medical facilities and sports amenities like a gym, basketball court, and football ground are impressive. The canteen serves quality snacks and beverages.
Faculty: The faculty at MAIT for IT is knowledgeable, approachable, and well qualified, with many holding advanced degrees and industry experience. The teaching quality is good, emphasizing hands-on learning through labs and projects. The curriculum is industry-relevant, covering subjects like AI, cybersecurity, and full-stack development, which prepare students for competitive roles. Semester exams are moderately difficult, but with consistent preparation, most students perform well. The pass percentage is above 85%, reflecting strong academic support.
Other: The college is located in a prime area of Delhi with great connectivity to public transport, including the metro. The surrounding areas have plenty of cafes, libraries, and co-working spaces, creating an ideal environment for both study and recreation. The campus hosts exciting events such as Renaissance (cultural fest) and Innobuzz (technical fest), where students can showcase their talents. Other activities include coding hackathons, sports meets, and club events like photography and robotics. The campus life at MAIT is vibrant, with a diverse student community from various cultural and academic backgrounds. The friendly and inclusive atmosphere helps students feel comfortable and fosters teamwork. The campus crowd is energetic, with active participation in academic and extracurricular activities. Rated 4/5, MAIT provides a balanced mix of academics and social life.

B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2028

Nice Faculty and Infrastructure.
Placements: In Mechanical Engineering, approximately 80% of students are placed. The highest package of Mechanical Engineering 2020-24 was 10 LPA. The internship is compulsory. From the third semester, internship opportunities are provided by the college. There are many societies in the college which also help with internships.
Infrastructure: The college has well infrastructure. There are two ACs in every class. Wi-Fi facility is available but a bit slow. The network is lost in classes and sometimes there is zero network. Labs and the library are well-managed with all equipment and books available.
Faculty: The college has very nice teachers. There are two mid-semester exams and one end-semester exam conducted every semester. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant, and if the student is dedicated, then he or she is industry-ready too. Semester examinations are not so tough and not so easy.
Other: There is a small ground and a bit high number of students, but it is well-managed and designed.

The college is good with good faculty.
Placements: Placements at MAIT have been increasing, but it all boils down to the quality of students. As an Active Placement Cell Coordinator and Corporate Relations Member, the college tries its best to invite companies on campus. DEShaw, Adobe, and Atlassian are big names, and the count will definitely increase. The highest package off-campus goes as high as 1 Cr+. This depends on the student, but the students are capable; if the institute offers more support, these figures will improve significantly.
Infrastructure: MAIT has a decent campus with decent facilities. Labs are not up to the best mark but work okay; there is definitely a need to improve them. The library is probably the best part of it—well-maintained and equipped. The canteen is decent as well, with fairly low rates. Sports facilities are practically non-existent and need improvement. Wi-Fi is the worst part; it's an engineering college, and it should have free high-speed Wi-Fi, but that doesn't exist.
Faculty: Faculty members at MAIT, like in any other college, vary a lot. In every department, only a handful of people know how to teach; the rest are just there to collect their salaries. The curriculum is fairly outdated; they are teaching in FSD specialization. Really? PHP? Industry readiness is not a thing here; just cram the night before the exam, and you will likely pass.
