    * However, some reviewers noted issues with outdated equipment, limited internet bandwidth, and poorly maintained hostels.

    Overall Value

Considering these factors, the decision to invest in a B.E./B.Tech degree at MIPS ultimately depends on individual preferences and career goals.

Here are some key takeaways to consider:

    * Placement performance: While MIPS reports a decent placement record, students' experiences vary significantly.
    * Teaching quality: Faculty members are generally helpful, but inconsistencies in teaching quality may affect learning outcomes.
    * Infrastructure and amenities: While the campus has some modern features, outdated equipment and limited resources might hinder academic progress.
    * Career prospects: Aspiring engineers should weigh the pros and cons of studying at MIPS against their desired career paths and job expectations.

It is a good college for B.Tech as the fees of this college is moderate.
Placements: My college claims 99% placements rate. The highest CTC offered by a company is 39 LPA and the lowest CTC is 2.4 LPA with an average package of 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Informatica and Wipro. About 80-90% students got their first internships in their 6th sem.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is quite good, but the problem starts in summers as there are no air conditioners in the classrooms. The Wi-Fi connectivity is not good at all, but the canteen and mess food are too good. There are digital classes with projectors installed.
Faculty: The teachers are very co-operative and they are highly educated. Their teaching quality was good. The course curriculum is way better with placements training provided for the students. The difficulty level of the semester exams is moderate.
Other: I wanted to learn technical skills which is why I have chosen B.Tech. I would like to request AKTU to update the syllabus as per the industry needs.

I got placement with a package of 12 Lakh per annum.
Placements: Almost all our batchmates were placed in my course. The highest package offered in our course was 42 Lacs per annum and the lowest was 10 Lacs per annum. Even I got placement with 12 Lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies are Oracle, Microsoft etc. All students got internship from the course and that too in reputed companies. Top roles offered were senior engineer.
Infrastructure: The hostel was not so good. The rooms were too small for four seater. The mess food was also bad no non veg items are served. Dal was watery. The classrooms were okay with comfortable chairs. The medical facility is very good. They have a inbuild hospital inside campus specially for the students.
Faculty: The faculty members were qualified and their teaching is superb. The course comprised everything related to industry. It makes the students industry ready. The teachers are always ready to help whenever required even after their classes are over. Anyone can go to them when required.
Other: I choose this course because my parents insisted me to do so but after joining this course I was so happy. Every engineering student should do their engineering from here. It is the best for engineering in whole Kanpur. Tbe campus is very much crowded. They organize annual fests to keep the students engaged.

    Maharana, a glimpse of success.
Placements: Approximately 40 percent of the students are placed; the rest are still unplaced. The highest package was 12 LPA, and the lowest was 118,000 per annum. The top recruiting companies are HCL, Informatica, Webkul, Lumen, Cedcoss, NEC, and Nashtech. Roles offered were Python Developer, GET, Trainee, Sales Associate, Business Developer, and GCS.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi was available in the college campus as well as the hostel. Labs were well furnished with updated systems and were fully air-conditioned with proper seats and high computational systems with configured software. The library was well furnished, though not air-conditioned, but had a great set of books and an enriching environment where you can study peacefully.
Faculty: Yes, teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was amazing. Yes, the course curriculum was relevant and helpful to make me understand the tools and techniques. The pass percentage is 33, and exams were of medium level, not very tough to pass and not very easy to clear without study.
Other: This course is the best course, and the branch was the emerging technology itself. More detailed topics I would add to my course to make it effective and interesting. Events and fests are amazing but happen only once a year; events are amazing but are very few in numbers.

Average but they are working on it which is good.
Placements: 1) 60% students were placed. 2)the highest salary 30000 per month, the lowest salary 9000 per month, average salary 15000 per month 3) Capgemini, Ericsson, Nucleous software, infomatica, mobilite were the top recruiters. 4) software engineer, analyst, Traniee, software developer were the top roles offered. 5) 40% from my course were placed in Nucleous software.
Infrastructure: 1) Facilities were average, classroom were good, labs do not contain new equipment and we go to labs rarely, even labs assistance were not much educated. We have outdated equipment. In our library most of the books were of foreign writers, which do not contain that topic which is in the syllabus 2) canteen is fine and as I am a day scholar so could not experience hostel life.
Faculty: 1) Yes some teachers were very helpful but some do the job of just completing the course and giving us notes Some teachers were qualified some were not as much Teaching quality of some teacher were very good but some were very poor, depends on how much knowledge they have. 2) Course curriculum is not much relevant as per me. It can be if we were made to focus more on practice knowledge than just maintaining our attendance.
Other: 1) Nothing much about the course at the time of admission I found it very interesting by just visualizing in mind. 2) Way of teaching should improve and focus on practical knowledge knowledge. 3) yes college takes part in events, fest, extra curricular activities.

Good but not so good due to bad policy and facilities.
Placements: Only 20% of the students got placed from my branch, and 20% of the students got placed in other branches. The highest salary offered is 6 LPA, and the lowest is 1.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Capgemini, Informatica. The top role offered is a software developer. The highest salary offered is package 6 LPA, the lowest is 1.5 LPA in our course. No student got an internship.
Infrastructure: When I joined college only for 15 days Wi-Fi facility is provided rest four years no Wi-Fi, labs have outdated machines, classrooms are good, the library has old books. Mess food available is not good, medical facilities are available with fees, sports hardly anything.
Faculty: All teachers were helpful, well educated and had sound knowledge in their particular domain. Teaching quality was good. The course curriculum was not relevant. It was a too old course which cannot meet current company standard. It was all waste no practical knowledge at all.
Other: To learn a wide variety of thing and in-depth knowledge about electronic items, I chose this course.

Review of Maharana Institute of Professional Studies.
Placements: The placements offered at this college are pretty average and decent. If you have enough skills and a good CGPA, you can land a high-paying job. The highest package that was offered here was 49 LPA. The average package offered here is 3.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is pretty decent. The classes are big enough and have facilities such as digital boards, CCTVs, projectors, etc. The hostel and the food provided in the mess are below average. Also, there is no sports equipment available.
Faculty: The teachers in the first year of B.Tech are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is also great. The course curriculum is based upon AKTU. Apart from the end-semester exams, there are many exams conducted by the college, such as unit tests and mid-sem.
