Placements: In my course, there were no placements as we come from a science background. However, many internships are available, although they are not paid. These internships help improve CVs and resumes by offering certificates. Only selected students are able to participate in these internships.
Placements: I have done my Bachelor's from maitreyi college, university of Delhi, in the discipline of Physical Science with Chemistry. I graduated in the year 2021. Talking about the placements for this particular course in maitreyi, there were no companies that visited the campus for our department. There was no placements from my batch.
Placements: Around 55% of students got placed in our college. The average salary package offered was 50 LPA. Internships are also offered in our college. Nearly 20-30% of students got placed in botany courses.
Placements: I am pursuing B.Sc. Zoology hons., and there are very few placements for Zoology students in our college. I don't know much about it as I am not an active member of the placement society. Mostly, students from B.Com (Hons). and B.Sc physical sciences get good placements.
Placements: There is a placement cell but no company comes to recruit students. On-campus placement drive was organised and since companies were not relevant to the course so no one applied. No one from our batch was placed anywhere.
Placements: Due to COVID, most placements were deferred. Although the placement cell tries hard, there aren't many employment opportunities for science students. Most students take marketing internships or subject matter expert roles. The average salary package doesn't go over 3 LPA.
Placements: Top companies like EY, Jamboree, Global Logic, KPMG, TOI, Outlook, etc., visited our campus for placements. Roles like data analyst, sales rep, content development, GMAT/GRE faculty were offered to students. The average salary package offered was 3 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 6-7 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 1.2 LPA, and it was offered to the whole batch.
Placements: Being a botany student, we generally don't get placements just after completing our graduation. Regarding internships, only a few students who are willing to continue the subject further, they do it with a maximum stipend of Rs. 8,000-10,000. I think there should be placement offers for science students too.
Placements: Placements in college were not good. The salary packages offered were quite less. Even the companies that visit the campus to hire the students of the economics (Hons.) course were quite limited. You will find companies that pay more for the same roles visiting other colleges. B.Com (Hons.) course has more options and is much preferred during placement drives.
Placements: I didn't get any placements neither I was interested as the option offered were not related to my field. From our batch, I didn't find anyone got a good placement. Companies visit our campus for other courses. There was a placement cell.
Placements: Placements in the college are awfully bad, even for economics honours students. For B.Com (Hons.) students, companies like EY visit the college for recruitment and offer roles related to auditing. But they hardly hire 3-4 students out of 80 students. So, placements are something where the college is lacking.
Placements: There were no placements provided in the college for B.A honours political science, but there were placements for B.Com honours. There is an opportunity to work in other companies as workshops are conducted. Internships are mostly unpaid, but it gives experience.
Placements: The placements provided by our college are average, and the package offered was around 4 LPA. NIIT visited the college for placements, this year, offering the role of a content writer. E&Y and Urbanclap also visited the campus. The placement cell is poor, and they do not keep the students updated about the companies visiting the campus.
Placements: I was absolutely dissatisfied with the placement of Maitreyi College as there were no placements for graduate students from science field. For students of commerce stream also, there were limited placements with the lowest salary offered. Most of the students themselves had to search for the job outside the campus.
Placements: 30% students placed. Highest salary 4 LPA, lowest 3 LPA. Companies like EY, Evaluserve, Clairvolex, Urban Clap etc came for placements offering roles related to business development, process associate, assurance associate. No internships were offered for our batch in 3 years because the placement cell came into effect in 2015-2016.
Placements: There were no placements offered to maths honours students as such but there are placements for BCom(H) and they are pretty good. Companies like L&T, Aon come. Students would get an average package of around 2.3 lakh per annum. There is also an online portal for du (all the DU colleges) there you can apply and attend their meetings seminars and get placed over there.
Placements: Placements for our batch were good and also for seniors. Nearly 80-90% of the students were placed. The lowest salary offered was Rs. 30,000 per month. The highest salary offered was Rs. 45,000 per month. Companies like EY, Godrej, Happy Happy, etc., visited the campus for placements. Internships are also good, as many students got an average stipend during internships. There is a placement cell, and it is very much useful.
