Placements: Our college is able to provide only 40% placements to their students and provides 100% placement assistance. The salary offered by the companies in placements is in between 250$ to 500$ US dollar. Companies which offer placements are MOL, Maersk Line, MSC and Goodwork. The fee of our college is about to 3 lacs per annum. Internships are not offered here.
Placements: Right now due to recession in the merchant navy field the amount of jobs have been decreasing but still our college is working hard to bring in companies for recruitment such as BW, MOL, MOL Tankers, MTM, MAERSK Tankers, etc. So the placement department is trying their best to provide jobs for the cadets.
Placements: Placements have tremendously risen in the past couple of years as the world's largest shipping company called Maersk hired almost 23 cadets in the first year itself. Now, almost 33 cadets of my batch got placed in companies like MOL, Maersk Line, Maersk Tanker, BW, etc. Many more are going to get placed in their final year.
Placements: Lack of jobs in every field has been a major problem in the college, and the same is the case with the shipping industry. Even then, we had a great placement record. From our batch, almost 75% (53 out of 69) of the students got placed, and 100% of students who were without any arrears or backlogs got placed. Companies like Wallem, MOL, United Ocean and GOL Offshore visited our campus for placements. After four years, i.e., now since ever the students got placed, they are about to become second o...
Placements: The placement of our batch as of now is pretty good. I myself am placed in the biggest shipping company in the world (Maersk). But previously it was pretty bad. But now companies are rolling in huge amounts. Recently the 4th year cadets got placed in ht shipping company which is a newly found company. So overall the placement is pretty decent if we consider recent condition.
Placements: Last year, 80% students were placed. If you are a good student, you will definitely get a job. This college offers the best course in reasonable fee. The companies which visit the college are the world leading companies in merchant Navy field like Mol, BW, Maersk, XT, etc.
Placements: In terms of placement I am frankly speaking the current scenario of placement is not good here. 3 or 4 years ago situation was quite different but now as the whole marine industry is going through a crisis that is why there is less demand of fresh job in this field. Current situation is only 20-30% of cadets have got placed in past few year.
Placements: The placements are good. Many companies like MAESEK line, MOL, V-Ships Molta, XT, TOM, etc., visited the college. The placement cell is also helpful for students to get selected in campus placements. If you clear all semesters and if you are not suspended during your course, you will get placed for sure.
Placements: The placements are good on the campus. The companies like MOL, Maersk, Torm, and many other companies visit our college. You just have to be all clear on every subject to opt for placements. But also due to a bad phase going on shipping, the placements are also affected in the college as the companies are not approaching the college.
Placements: Overall placement is good. Many shipping companies are visiting our college for placement like Maersk line, mol etc. And select cadets after pi test and interview, who passed in both exam. Placement cell helps cadet for placement scenario. Placement is started from 2nd year.
Placements: To be honest, the placements here are very good up till 2015 but because of the recession in the market and some negative feedback have cost the college. But from last year though there is a recession, the college has been able to provide placements to cadets. Marks MOL MOLTA, Goodwood, V-ships, TOM are some of the shipping companies that come to MANET for the placements.
Placements: The college invites the shipping companies to the college for campus placement from the third year onwards. The college placement record for the year 2005 to 2015 is cent percent, but nowadays, there is not cent percent placement. Many reputed companies visit the college like MOL, Synergy Molta, Maersk Line, Torm, etc. There are no internship facilities.
Placements: As now, this institute changes its university to MIT ADT, so the placement is improved, and I'm also placed in Maersk Line, Denmark in the 3rd semester only. It's a good academy if you are an intelligent one. The placement offered for my senior batch is not too good but still placed in the various companies like Torm, MOL, V ships, MTM and BW maritime.
Placements: This college is just a couple of decades old, providing two degrees on B.Tech Marine Engineering and B.Sc. Nautical Sciences. Well honestly, speaking about placements, this college has had cent percent placement till 2011. After that, the placement of the college started dropping a little. The college kept on shifting universities. Initially, it was Indian Maritime University (IMU), then another marine institute YCMOU, again IMU and finally now under Maharashtra Institute of Technology, under wh...
Placements: The placement is getting down year by year. The management is working on it. In my senior batch 59 students got placed out of 200 and in my batch, the condition is worst till now. The companies which visit for recruitment are like MOL, TORM, MOL and other companies which come for the placements are also good. They provide trainee marine engineer post on board. The college does not provide an internship. The placement needs to be improved. While taking admission, one must get ensure for placement...
Placements: Placement in our college is really good. I'm myself placed in an ownership company BW Maritime Pvt. Ltd. Singapore. I will be joining in December. Other companies that have come to our college are V Ships, Wilhemsen, Mol India, Synergy, Torm, Molta, Elite Marine, Maersk and many more. All these companies came for our seniors too and they are on board and sailing right now. Almost 60% students get placed every year in our batch if they have cleared their exams. We don't have an internships in our...
The college is good. Campus and hostel excellent. Faculty also good. Placement is 100%. Mess food is not that good. Rest all is overall average. It has two courses. B.tech marine engineering and BSc nautical science. You can go for this college. If you work a little bit hard you will pass the semesters and get a job. The companies coming for placement are top companies across the world.
Our college has a great campus away from the Pune city. Hostel facility were good. Recreation facility were available. There used to be a friendly environment between seniors and juniors. Faculties had a vast experience about the shipping industry which helped us to grow fast. Every science student after completing their HSC should join this college.
About the placement, yes the market is improving and so the companies are visiting for campus interviews. Some of the companies are MOL, MTM, V Ships, Wilhelmsem, BW and Fleet. Be all clear to get placement. Though, the placement is not 100% but still it decent. The faculty is experienced. Rules are very strict, you may get suspended for small things. You will not have a good experience if you are homesick. Otherwise also, you would need to spend 5-6 months to get used to the environment. Believ...
