Review of Manipal Institute of Technology.
Placements: In the civil engineering department, mostly people go for higher studies or government exams like CAT, GATE, UPSC, etc. Those who are interested and eligible for placements mostly get campus placements. The top recruiters are L&T and Adani Construction in core fields, and some of them go for software roles in IT companies.
Infrastructure: The classrooms, labs, and library are all equipped with comfortable seating, wifi, and ACs. We have high-quality food in the mess and canteens prepared with utmost hygiene. The library has numerous books for every subject. One can either get it issued or read it there only in a silent and comfortable environment.
Faculty: The teachers here are very helpful. We have a concept of a teacher guardian who is a professor, and you can directly approach him anytime you want, and they are always there for you. All the faculties are PhDs and are very knowledgeable. The exams are quite easy, and pass marks are 40%.
Other: I chose this course at MIT because it has one of the oldest and best civil engineering departments in India. The faculty and labs here are great. MIT has fests like TechTatva, Revels, etc. The weather here is pleasant, and you get to interact with and learn from people of different cultures here.

Satisfied with the college placements but extremely happy with overall learning development.
Placements: The highest package was 45 Lacs offered by Microsoft and minimum package was 4.5 lacs offered by Accenture, which was a mass placement. The top companies that came for recruitment were Amazon, Microsoft, GS, Deloitte, KPMG, ZS, and Black Rock. The on-campus internships were predominantly for computer-related students.
Infrastructure: The facilities, whether it's hostel food or classrooms, are really top-notch. The money you pay for these services is really less compared to the value you derive from them. Annapurna Mess is the best mess at MIT Manipal, where the food is top-notch and contains a lot of variety.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful but the course structure is not in line with the jobs offered and this issue is faced by the majority of engineering colleges. The exams are difficult and they test concepts rather than just knowledge, which makes it tougher to crack.
Other: The best thing about this course is the overall personality development and the exposure you get to both technical and cultural backgrounds. The technical projects are really a plus in terms of industry learning and innovation carried out by students. Apart from academic excellence, there is plenty of learning the campus has to offer, which can lead to holistic development. One improvement could be adding more elements to the skill level part, which can help students in the future.

Review of Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal, Manipal Academy of Higher Education.
Placements: Almost 75-80% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 14 LPA. The minimum salary package offered ranges from 6 LPA - 7 LPA. The top recruiting companies are L&T, Jacob, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available and the speed is 10 Mbps. Hostels are well-furnished with decent facilities like laundry and water coolers. There is a night canteen in every block which runs till 2.00 AM.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, polite, and helpful. Our course curriculum is relevant to make students ready for the industry. Semester exams are moderate. If we prepare well then we can crack exams easily.

Quite satisfied with my college. Good hostel facility.
Placements: Well, there weren't a lot of students who got placed in my branch since my branch is a core branch and it requires experience. But, on the contrary, the placements in other branches are pretty good. The highest package in my branch was 4.5 CTC and the lowest was 2 Lacs CTC. Top recruiting companies are L&T, Tata Constructions and Goldman Sachs. Around all the students get internship in different companies such as L&T, and some technical companies. Top role offered in my course is of Construction Engineer.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is pretty good. Labs and Classes are equipped with ACs and smart classes. Library is made in such a way that it can accommodate a large number of students. Wi-Fi facility is good in hostels and library, around 200 GB/student. The quality of food in mess is decent compared to other colleges. Sports and Games facility in hostel is decent but students don't play much because of the studies maybe.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified. Most of them are Ph.D. holders and some of them are still holding higher positions. Teaching quality is good until and unless you don't focus on your classes. Curriculum is relevant and good. Students are well trained for industrial training. Semester exams are moderately tough. You have to study and you can't complain. Pass percentage is 95%.

Review of Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal, Manipal Academy of Higher Education.
Placements: I am a student of the 1st semester only. I do not know whether it provides civil engineering placements or not. It is better than other private colleges.
Infrastructure: The quality of the hostel is average. The hostel is good enough to stay.
Faculty: Teachers are much helpful. They try to make students understand every point. Teachers are one of the best parts of this college. You can feel free to ask all questions, and they will answer them correctly. You can meet teachers also to talk freely.

Manipal main campus is much better than the Dubai campus and it is very evident from the college rankings. Main campus definitely has better facilities, labs and even faculty.

Yes, you might be able to get civil in the main campus but not in the first round of counselling. You should get it in the later rounds, though.
