Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT) provides freedom to students.
Placements: Placements in the college are not much good for M.Tech compared to B.Tech. Internship offers are good. The average stipend offered was around Rs. 12,000 per month. There is a placement cell, and it works well for students. Placements are less for my branch, but students do projects in research institutes like IISC, BARC, NAL, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Manipal is good. Some classrooms are old, and some are very good, but the ambience is great. Lab facilities are good enough for UG but not too good for PG. Hostel facilities are good, and food quality in the mess is good. Medical facilities are good, and the library in the college is vast. Lots of activities are organised in the college. Sports facilities are good with proper maintenance of grounds.
Faculty: Faculty members in the college are well-qualified, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good as they use proper technologies to teach. Some departments offer industry exposure. The course curriculum is good and useful.
Other: The college ambience is great. One cannot leave this college without good memories. Fests are organised all the time in the college, and they are organised in a good way. Lots of events are organised in the college. The campus crowd is huge, and scholarships are provided to top-ranked students. This is the top college for extracurricular activities.
