This college can be a good part of your life.

Placements: Above 40% of the students get placements from our college. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA in the mechanical engineering department. For other departments, core companies don't visit this college for placements. However, Mahindra and Tata had visited here sometimes. Lots of companies other than core companies visit our college to hire students. Computer science students have more possibilities to get campus placements.

A satisfactory college with good facilities and infrastructure.

Placements: Above 40% of students got placed every year. TCS and Infosys were the top recruiting companies even for my stream. Core companies like MRF, etc., also come here. The college doesn't provide any internships, but you can apply one on your personal interest, and the college provides you with a bonafide certificate for it.

Good campus and infrastructure but placements can be improved.

Placements: Most of the roles offered in the college are from IT companies. These include but are not limited to Product Development Engineer, Product Development Assistant Engineer. Placements in core sector are meagre but some prominent companies have come offering good roles.

The placement cell for the mechanical branch is not impressive.

Placements: Only a couple of companies visited here for the core department for mechanical, and our college will charge if you get placed in any company based on your salary. There are lots of IT companies in the placement cell. In our time, Zoho offered a salary package of 8 LPA for a student which was the biggest placement. Other than that, there were IQVIA, Infosys, TCS and many others. Core companies for the mechanical branch are Cameroon International, SFO and VKC, and a total of 12 students get placed...

The college provides good placements. It is a great campus.

Placements: More than 60% of the students got placed in different companies from our college. The lowest salary package offered was about 3.5 LPA. The highest salary package offered is about 8 LPA. The top recruiting company was Fleet Ship, and the role offered was of a navy officer. The lowest salary offered in our course was 3.5 LPA. The highest salary offered was 6 LPA. Around 95% of the students from our course got an internship at Maruti Suzuki and MRF.

Overall the college offers a good atmosphere.

Placements: The placement process was average. About 25% of students in our class got placed in various software firms and some mechanical based companies. Most of the students waited for the Core, but those options were very limited. The placement committee had placed restrictions for those with backlogs even though companies had no issue with them. If the students get placed, then they have to give the TNP cell some share of your first-month salary.

I am satisfied because of the faculty, good placements and facilities.

Placements: Placements for our batch and the previous batch was very good. Most of the students got placed. Students got placed in their respective core companies. Almost 70% of the students got placed through campus placements. Remaining students opted for higher studies.

Review of Mar Athanasius College Of Engineering, Kothamagalam.

Placements: The placement scenario of our college was decent. Only a few IT companies and one bank visited the campus during our placement season. The placement cell was not active enough to bring in companies. People had to look for placements outside on their own. If placement is the only reason for you to pursue engineering, this is not the college for you as very few companies related to the core domains visit the campus.

A college with top class facility, standard teachers and green campus.

Placements: The TNP cell of our college places students. The highest salary package offered this year is 14 LPA followed by 9 LPA. Mainly companies like TCS, Wipro, etc. visit to hire students from our batch. Cochin shipyard hired 4 or 5 mechanical students. Almost 70% of the students were eligible for placements. The lowest salary offered is about 2 LPA. Most of the companies which came to the college were usually from IT sector and fewer core companies. A good college in Kerala for B.Tech, and it offers you a good future.

Placements: The placements are good when compared to other engineering colleges. About 70% of the students are placed through the campus interviews. They offer a good salary. The students will get internship also for their commitment and hard work. Our college has an active placement cell, and it invites highly reputed companies to conduct campus placements.

A campus with great infrastructure and facilities. It has an active training and placement cell.

Placements: There is a decent placement statistics in this college. The training and placement cell is active, and it offers guidance for the students to tackle the job interviews as well as bring out the leadership qualities among some other students by letting them organise the events. About 60-70 percent of the students get placed here with a decent freshers package. Electrical and electronics department itself got the best placement record of 61. The college has the best placement record of 305. Its one of the best-aided college in Kerala with every time high in the placements. There are the good faculty members and the infrastructure on the campus.

Excellent infrastructure and experienced faculty members.

Placements: The college has good placements in IT sector. Many companies including TCS, Envestnet, IBS and many others offered placements with an average salary of 3.3 lakh. The highest salary offered was 5.5 lakhs and lowest was 2.5 lakh. Placements in core industry are less but alumni of college made possible some core companies like Hyundai, MRF, Kitco, VKL etc. Placements for CS department are highest, followed by EC department.

Good blend of academics, exposure, networking and fun.

Placements: If you are gratified with an IT placement, then it's good. Most offers were made by TCS. The only core company that visited was Marico (3.6LPA). The college doesn't arrange internships and so companies visit only for final placements. Plus it's difficult to get leaves approved for a proper 2 months internship.

One of the best places to spend your four years.

Placements: To be frank, the placements for branches except IT are too bad. When I say too bad, I really mean it. Only one student from my batch got a core company placement and that too with a 2-year bond for around 25,000 per month package. That was the only core company visited. The one who got selected works as a Site Engineer there. Now about internships, the university has set a 15-day internship mandatory for every BTech student and most of them visit some construction sites. There are no stipends fo...

Good college in terms of infrastructure but the student teacher relation isn't that good.

Placements: Placements were very poor. TCS took the maximum students and that is around 180. Core companies were very less. The highest package was almost 6 LPA. Almost 300 students among 550 students got placed, mostly in IT firms with a salary package of 3-3.5 lakhs per annum. Other companies were Wipro, Mu Sigma, Envestnet, South Indian Bank, Qburst technologies, Tata Elxi, MRF, Kitco etc. Most of the students were selected as a software engineer or program developer.

Placements: The placement cell of the campus is very efficient. Majority of the students get through the campus placements. The placement cell makes sure everyone who is need of a job gets a job and that is why the cell is known for its excellent work. The companies that usually come are from the IT industry. The College was awesome, 4 years were just like 4 seconds to me. The faculty members are good. The only problem is the lack of student strengths. It has a very good name in the state. Our college has good facilities. It has Tech and arts fests that’s conducted annually. Supporting teachers and font of Innovations. Here, there is an entrepreneurship cell and innovation cell that makes and encourages students to innovate.
