If you have another option, go for it.
Placements: There were no placements conducted in our college for our batch and our senior batches. They have tried very hard to invite some decent companies, but none of them visited. Only small scale local companies like garages, foundries and others visited the campus for placements. I've heard that one of our seniors worked in spare parts shop for only Rs. 4,000 per month.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good concerning Unipune standards. There is no Wi-Fi facility, and they say that the students will misuse it. Classrooms are big enough. There are no medical facilities. Labs have mechanisms that work sometimes. We were in DOM lab for a practical, and the balancing apparatus stopped working.
Faculty: Teachers in the college are qualified. Apart from a few, others don't help much. I spent the past four years in this college. The quality of teaching is acceptable. Our teachers also provide notes given by other engineering colleges.
Other: Even if they can't manage a single event, they force us to attend them. "You'll have to pay the fine" is the sentence that keeps tossing here and there.

Absolutely not worth of money, placements are rare phenomenon.
Placements: Less than 10% students are placed from all departments combined, at the college entrance there's poster of the people who got campus placement, do no get fooled by it, that poster contains every individual who got placed since the college started. The highest package was 5 LPA and the lowest was 2 LPA, the average package maybe around 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies were Saudi Aramco, TATA, Byjus, etc. Almost 50% of the students got internship, but you have to pay internship feels for that around 3,000-4,000 rs.
Infrastructure: The library outdated, it's filled up only with old edition reference books of SPPU 2015 syllabus, and there's no system to request for new books, they are not updating the library, the contains of 5 computers, 2 for girls and 3 for boys, and only one of then have internet connection, as well the CPU is pretty old and it hang a lot; classrooms are okay, some of them have projectors, some of them do not, some of them have whiteboards while rest have chalk board; Majority of lab needs maintenance and is not fully functional and the management do not care about even cleaning the labs until any person of authority visits the college. I would say hostel is only good thing about college, the food quality is awesome and they have non-veg too, there is canteen with everything, medical facilities are available and pretty good, there's study room, gym, sports, etc. Almost everything, just you have to share your room with 3 others.
Faculty: In first year, teachers are experienced, knowledgeable, very generous and helpful; but in second year, the teachers are pretty native, with no experience and proper teaching skills, they seems fresh graduate hire on low salary maybe. Course curriculum is relevant but it does not make students industry ready due to lack of practical knowledge and poor teaching quality. Semester exams are tough, and happens very strictly, although the pass percentage is around 82%, majority students have multiple backlogs.
Other: I chose Mechanical engineering, because I hage interest in learning about machines and especially mechanisms, the best thing about my course is industrial visits, that's pretty fun and knowledgeable. I think hiring some knowledgeable and experienced teachers and maintaining Labs in working condition maybe better for my course. There are very less Events, no Fest, campus is not very crowded, everybody is very friendly so connectivity is good, Campus surrounding is mind freshing, there are multiple scholarship options (not from college but from Government scheme), extracurricular activities are rare phenomenon here.
