MCC - A heaven to gain knowledge.
Placements: This college has placements for over 30 companies around India. The highest package is 2 lakhs per month. Top roles are Financial Analyst, Human Resource Manager, Corporate Accountant, and Chartered Accountants. Almost 74% of students got internships in top companies like L&T, TCS, Deloitte, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is the best part of MCC. More than the infrastructure, the ambiance is purely greenish and pleasant to see and walk in. Astonishing trees and sceneries can be seen around this college. Wherever you go, you can only see green surroundings all over the college. You can also see deers, peacocks, and different kinds of birds in our college.
Faculty: The Bachelor of Commerce program has the best professors who are thoroughly educated and well-experienced. The subject that they teach is easily accessible. Each and every teacher has a vision for the syllabus and teaches very wisely. It is easily understandable.
Other: It has a period of cultural events, and you'll see cultural activities at every single place in the college. This college has a big cultural event called "DEEPWOODS," which is the iconic cultural event of our MCC. It also conducts educational conferences for students' bright futures.

Overall experience in Madras Christian College.
Placements: Depending upon the companies, their percentage will change, but the majority of students were placed in some companies. The basic LPA was 3,60,000, and the highest LPA is approximately 8,60,000. Top companies come and hire students, so overall, the placements were very good at Madras Christian College.
Infrastructure: Madras Christian College (MCC) is well-known for its beautiful campus and strong academic infrastructure. The infrastructure at Madras Christian College is designed to support an enriching academic and extracurricular life for students across disciplines. Let me know if you need more specific details related to your course.
Faculty: Faculty members were very good in our college; they will help us learn everything they know to become knowledgeable students, which will be useful for clearing exams in the semester. The semester exams were moderate, and the majority of students cleared the exams. Overall, the faculty and teaching curriculum activities were very good.

A review on current days at MCC.
Placements: In MCC there is placement but it's not 100% placement; only 10 to 20 from a class of 60 get placed. Normally the placement enrollment starts at the beginning of your 5th semester or the end of your fourth semester; you can opt for placement or higher study. The highest package was from Standard Chartered (SC) & Deloitte; it was 6 lacs CTC. Accenture, TCS and some well-known companies will participate in the placement drive. The average package will be Rs. 3.5 Lacs in CTS. The top role offered in placement was FMO at SC.
Infrastructure: The campus is well maintained. You are free to go anywhere except the lake & farm; you can go there only if you are in scrub society, which is a club in our college that cares for the college's fauna and flora. We have a decent library that is named after one of our college predecessors. You can borrow books for a period of 2 weeks and can renew them for another 2 weeks. You can find various types of books, magazine and daily newspapers. Now about college fest, there are 6 halls (hostels) in MCC. Regarding food, it is best to not eat from the canteen.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful but some may show partiality. Regarding the teaching quality, I would give 5 out of 5 for 70% of professors and 3.5 for the rest, so when it comes to teaching, it's up to you, professor; some read PPT and some make class interesting. In MCC we have 3 internal continuous assessments (ICA), out of which the best 2 will be selected for your internal mark. During the months of April and November, we'll be having the End Semester Exam (ESE). Last, about course relevance, it's updated with reference to current affairs and industry.
Other: I choose B.Com A&F because of my interest in the accounting field. The course here is designed in a way where it focuses on basic to advanced-level accounting and finance concepts, which are all taught by faculty using real-life examples and case studies so it'll be much more engaging and interesting. About college fest, there are 6 halls in MCC that separately conduct their own hall event. There are freshers & farewell days, christmas & Pongal, which are conducted by your ngal, which are conducted by your dept. & we have a college annual fest called Deepwoods, which will take place for 3 days.

It is the best college to train yourself, and the culture is the best.
Placements: The top recruiting companies were Deloitte, Accenture, TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Zoho, etc. The average salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. The placements will be started in the 6th semester. Many companies visit our college to hire students.
Infrastructure: MCC was one of the oldest colleges in Asia. Our campus was very good. In MCC, we call the hostel as a hall. There were six halls. The library was also provided. Cafeteria was excellent with normal prices, and the food quality was average.
Faculty: Faculty members were good. Most of them were doctorates. Industrial visits were also conducted by faculty members. MCC was an autonomous institution, but the quality of conducting exams was good. The pass marks were 40. For the internal exams, there will be 3 assessments. The pass marks for both internal and external exams were 50.
Other: The tradition of MCC was the best.

Review of Madras Christian College.
Placements: Around 30% of students get placed in our college. The highest salary package offered is 9.3 LPA and the lowest salary package is 2 LPA. There are three big recruiting companies like Deloitte, KPMG, and E&Y. Most of the students get internships in banks. Top roles offered are business analyst, assistant audit officer, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities provided in our college are good. It has a very good library. I recommend students to spend time in the library to gain knowledge and exposure. Hostel is good. Food served in the mess is good. Our college gives a lot of importance to sports.
Faculty: All teachers in our college are highly qualified, very helpful, and easily approachable. The course curriculum is very helpful and makes students ready to face the situation in the outside world. Semester exams are moderate.
