The tech-fest, placement, and the faculty direct you to glory.

Placements: MEC is one of the colleges which are well-known for their placement. The placement slots for the 4th years start at the beginning of their last academic year. Within the completion of the first six months, around 60% of the students get placed. Unfortunately, the electronics and biomedical engineering department have the least placements. The highest salary offered so far is about 36 lacs per annum. The average salary offered is about 10 lacs per annum. The least salary offered is 7 lacs per ann...

Really good placements and exposure to engineering field

Placements: Our college is the top college in Kerala in terms of placements. The placement percentage of our college for the past year is 93.8 percent. Excellent placement, above average faculty, and infrastructure which needs to improve

Placements: Excellent placements, experienced faculty members, and proximity to some of the leading companies in India make our college one of the best in Kerala. We had almost 95 percent placement, which was steady for the previous years too. It must be noted that we had an economic crisis at that time which did not affect our placements.

Satisfied with placements but dissatisfied with the infrastructure

Placements: Placements are very good. The highest was 22 lakhs offered by D.E. Shaw and average packages are around 5-6lakhs. Overall, the number of students placed is also high. The college is ranked 27th at the all-India level for its placements. The placements are higher for computer science students compared to the other branches. The placements for Biomedical students are low. Companies like Nvidia, Bosch, Amazon, Deloitte, Redbus and many reputed organizations come for recruitment. Core companies for ...

A great college which can give you thousands of memories and gain knowledge in the process.

Placements: The college has very good placements. It has a placement percentage of 80-95% with top-notch companies such as DE Shaw & Co, Amazon, Nvidia, SAP Labs, Yahoo, GE Healthcare etc recruiting consistently most of the years. The placements for electrical are very less and most of the jobs are CS or IT-related. The highest package was 30 LPA from Nutanix this year. Minimum packages range from 2-3 LPA.

Absolutely good college to study engineering and get placed in top companies.

Placements: Unlike other colleges where a placement officer calls some companies to the college, MEC has an active student participation in the placement cell. Students try to contact their seniors or company HRs. They have connections to bring the companies to the college. Every year, companies like Microsoft, Yahoo and Samsung used to visit the college and grab the talents they want. I am pursuing M.tech in VLSI and embedded systems in MEC. All the students till the 2014-2015 batch were GATE scholars. In ...

Placements: The placement in our college has always been consistently ranked the highest (sometimes second highest) in the state. Microsoft, Nvidia, Yahoo, and Myntra are few of the giants who visited for placement, out of which the last three have taken in few individuals. Placements: Our College is one of the best colleges in the state for placements. CS department is the best where nearly 100% placements happen. Still, overall placements are more than 90% in college. The highest pay in my batch was 12 lakhs by LinkedIn and the least was around 4 lakhs. The average pay will be around 6 lakhs. A majority of the students get placed in IT sector. Home away from home kind of feel.

Placements: The placements are almost 100% for my batch as well as for my seniors. There are a good number of companies that comes AMS Enterprises, Atmel, Nvidia, Qualcomm, etc. and also other big wigs such as ADP, Amazon, Bosch, etc. The average placement package would be slightly higher at around 4-4.5 LPA since there is no mass recruitment by a single company here. The roles offered vary a lot based on different branches.
