A:

Is MIET Meerut good for M.E/M.Tech?

Based on the feedback from various students and alumni, here's an analysis of MIET Meerut's strengths and weaknesses for pursuing M.E/M.Tech:

Strengths:

* Good Library and Laboratories: Many students praised the availability of relevant books in the library and the functioning of laboratories.

* Placements: Around 65% to 98% of students got placed, with companies offering packages ranging from INR1.18 LPA to INR16 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, Wipro, IBM, and others.

* Internship Opportunities: Over 80% to 95% of students secured internships, with roles such as software development, cloud developer, and data scientist.

* Well-maintained Infrastructure: The college provides amenities like Wi-Fi, libraries, classrooms, hostels, and sports facilities.

Weaknesses:

* Teaching Quality: Some students felt that the teaching quality was poor due to inexperienced faculty members who didn't engage with students effectively.

* Behaviour of Faculty Members: Some teachers were reportedly unfriendly and unhelpful.

* Infrastructure Issues: While the college has modern infrastructure, issues like frequent breakdowns of projectors and limited parking spaces were reported.

* Food Quality: Mess food was described as "average" by some students.

In conclusion, while MIET Meerut has its strengths in terms of placements, infrastructure, and internship opportunities, it falls short in providing a satisfactory learning experience due to inadequate teaching quality and poor behavior of some faculty members. Potential students should weigh these factors carefully before making an informed decision.

Q:   Is MIET Meerut good for MCA?

A:
{Source: MCA students & alumni}

Based on various reviews and feedback from current and former students, here's a summary of what we found:

* Infrastructure: While some students mentioned that the infrastructure is poor, others praised the cleanliness and maintenance of the classrooms, library, and hostel facilities. Some issues include lack of proper lighting and ventilation in certain areas.

* Teaching Quality: Teachers are generally considered helpful, knowledgeable, and supportive. However, some students felt that the faculty was inexperienced and lacked enthusiasm.

* Course Curriculum: The course curriculum seems to be well-designed, with students appreciating the opportunity to learn industry-relevant skills. However, some students felt that the course load was heavy and the exams were challenging.

* Placements: Unfortunately, the placement record for MCA students appears to be poor. Fewer companies seem to visit the campus for hiring MCA graduates compared to B.Tech students. While some students did report getting placed, the salaries were relatively low.

* Overall Experience: Students appreciated the college's location, proximity to public transportation, and access to amenities like a gym and cafeteria. However, some complained about the quality of food and living conditions in hostels.

Here's a summary of the key findings:

* Infrastructure is mixed, with some areas lacking proper maintenance.
* Teaching quality is mostly positive, although some faculty may require improvement.
* Course curriculum is well-designed, but the workload can be demanding.
* Placement record for MCA students is concerning, with limited job opportunities and lower salaries.
* Overall, students appreciate the college's location and amenities, but some aspects need improvement.

Keep in mind that individual experiences may vary, and it's essential to research thoroughly before making an informed decision about pursuing higher education at MIET Meerut.

MIET College is the best for Meerut and other students.
Placements: About 60% of students got placed in our college last year in our CSE branch. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is about 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are TCS, Wipro, Samsung, Deloitte, Nestled, Cognizant, and many others. These companies visit the college every semester.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure that our college management provides are good for everyone to be there. Facilities such as free Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, a library, and an auditorium are well-maintained. The quality of the mess and canteen food is good for everyone. Medical and sports facilities are very well-maintained.
Faculty: All teachers in our college are well-educated and knowledgeable. The teaching quality of all teachers is very well. This course curriculum is relevant and makes students ready for the industry level. Semester exams in our college are conducted by AKTU University. They are of moderate level.

Meerut Institute Of Technology Review.
Placements: Placement Cell is present in Meerut Institute of Technology, which is okay. On average, placements are there for students of each branch. The Placement Cell always tries to provide internships. Many seminars and webinars are conducted by different companies at the request of the authorities of MIET.
Infrastructure: As I am a day scholar student, I personally don't know about the hostel conditions. But whatever I have heard from my friends who live in the hostel is that the services and facilities provided in the hostel are good. Wi-Fi is present 24/7. The food quality is good.
Faculty: Faculty members of Meerut Institute of Technology are very supportive and always open to helping the students. Extra classes are conducted every weekend. In Meerut Institute of Technology, there are specifically different libraries for the students of each year.
Other: In Meerut Institute of Technology, events are conducted on a regular basis, whether they are cultural events, sports events, tech events, or any other.

Worth taking admission in campus.
Placements: There are no such companies for which we are preparing. Most of the companies offer low packages as they are mass recruiters. Students have to suffer a lot to get their dream job, as the college academics are not helping on the placement grounds.
Infrastructure: There are various labs, but most of the lab assistants are not trained to handle advanced levels of research work. The canteen area doesn't even have chairs to sit on, so you must stand with a table to eat something. The mess food is so weird that most students prefer to drink water rather than eat the mess food.
Faculty: Some of the teachers are studying the subjects forcefully, as they are out of their field, by providing notes from the authorities. This creates a gap in the system, resulting in a lack of proper understanding of the subject. The curriculum is oriented only towards the end semester, not from a placement point of view.
Other: Various fests and events are organized; most of them are by student teams, while some are annual events like Kolhaal, in which every year some celebrities are invited to perform at the event.

College of disasters.
Placements: I don't know about the percentage of placements, but yes, one student got a good package around 1 crore, but mostly students only get 3 to 5 lakhs per annum. They have some tie-ups with some big names like HCL, Groww, and Wipro, which can provide us a good opportunity.
Infrastructure: No Wi-Fi. Classrooms are very big, but in summer, it's like hell for students. Also, faculty members are very rude towards students. There is no AC in any class, and also fans are not working sometimes. The cafeteria is a big zero. There is no place to have any kind of fun. You can't play cricket, football, or any other games on campus, but you can play PUBG and Free Fire organized by our college group on campus. It can't waste your time.
Faculty: Some teachers are good and help students, but many others are very rude and disgusting. Semester exams are like average, and PUTs are above average. Like in PUT, exams were made from last year's question papers, so it's like predictable but not for final semesters.

Overall, our college is average. It offers an average salary package with great life experience.
Placements: In our college, around 60% of students got placed. The latest top recruiting companies that visited our college are Deloitte, TCS, and many more. The highest salary package offered is 24 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Around 70%-80% of students secured internships from our course in companies like Infosys and Wipro.
Infrastructure: Our college has every facility. Well-maintained labs with updated systems and air conditioning. Wi-Fi facility is available. There is a canteen with hygienic food. Outdoor and indoor games are available. Medical facilities are available with 24-hour ambulance.
Faculty: Teachers are supportive but a few are not. If we ask any doubt they will help us. Teachers are highly skilled in their field. Course curriculum is relevant and useful which makes students industry-ready. They teach us AWS, Salesforce, etc. Semester exams are moderately average if you study from beginning.
Other: I chose this course because I got a recommendation from known ones, as the AIML course is best for the future. After all, the upcoming era is AI. I don't think there is anything that needs to be improved. We can secure scholarships easily. Our college organizes a fest each year.

Not satisfied with placements. Campus is good and faculty is cooperative.
Placements: The maximum package offered was 8 LPA, which was cracked by 1 student. The minimum was 2 LPA. 30% of students got placed. The total number of students was around 400. Top companies were Deloitte, TCS, TransUnion, Wipro, and Capgemini, and some small startups. Around 30% of students got internships. Software developer and associate are the top roles offered.
Infrastructure: This college offers all labs needed for your course. The condition of labs and classrooms is quite good. Total 3 to 4 libraries are also present for each respective department, open for students all the time. Hostels are decent with decent infrastructure and have cameras all around the area and food is nice.
Faculty: Teachers and faculty are helpful. They are highly qualified for their respective subjects and mostly are Ph.D. Their teaching skills are also nice. The course curriculum is totally relevant to the course. If students follow it sincerely, they are good to work in industry. Semester exams are not too difficult. All topics given in the exam are tough in class, and the pass percentage is also around 80% different for different subjects.
