Journey of a student from 12th grade to graduation.
Placements: Since I am studying at MIT, which is a top college in Meerut and has a good reputation, what I see is that the majority of students took admission in computer science, but we do have a few students in our batch of electrical engineering. The number doesn't vary that much, but we do have 15–20 students in your batch. If we think about placements, the minimum package that an average student can get is around INR 4–5 LPA. Can vary according to the capability of the student. The top recruiting companies in our batch are BHL, BHEL, L&T, Schneider Electric, and many more. Around 50–60% of students can get internships at a good company. Roles are not high, but a starting one after training can achieve a good rank.
Infrastructure: The facilities that I was provided with as a student of electrical engineering at a well-respected college in Meerut are really nice. We are provided with good Wi-Fi connections with good speed and availability. We do have a number of labs for various topics with good equipment and the latest technology. Each of our classrooms has a projector to help students better understand topics. Even our library is provided with a number of books on our topic as well as on other topics with good availability. The food in our mess is good but lacks some flavor and hygiene. But medical facilities are good. Even our college supports a number of sports and games.
Faculty: The teachers for our course are really helpful. Many teachers in our college are Ph.D. graduates with doctorate degrees in their respective branches. They are really helpful in clearing my doubts, and their teaching quality is good. Our course and curriculum are relevant, teaching us about various topics related to our respective branches, and that is what makes the students industry-ready. Our final semester exams are challenging, sometimes tough and sometimes easy. But a good student who has studied well can face those challenges. Our minimum passing percentage is 30%.

Our college faculty members are good.
Placements: About 75 % students are placed in campus. Top companies are cognizant, wipro and Tata power. About 80-90 % students got internship opportunities during campus in NEO. Campus Ambassa offered to us during internship. Students got selected in mostly IT companies.
Infrastructure: Facilities provided in our department are Smart classrooms, computer labs, machine labs, control labs and network connectivity, well and good water facilities. Food quality is average in canteen and mess. Medical facilities are provided, good sports facilities with best grounds.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and helpful for students, they are well experienced and knowledgeable. Course curriculum is average. Basically it does not make the students industries ready at all because of huge syllabus and assignments burdens. Semester exams are little bit hard 30 marks are the passing criteria.
Other: Since, I have chosen Electrical branch because it is a core branch and very deep for learners. Basically attendance criteria needs an improvement because 75% attendance burden is not good for students.

I am satisfied with the college because of faculty members and placements in the previous year.
Placements: Placements at our college are quite good. Around 85% of students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 24 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 2.8 LPA. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, and many more companies visit the campus for recruitment.
Infrastructure: Our college has a good infrastructure, good classrooms, concerned department labs, and a library with various books. The quality of food served in canteen and hostel is quite good. The college provides free Wi-Fi facility also which helps us a lot for learning more.
Faculty: On our campus, teachers are very helpful during college time but they also help us after college time. They are very qualified and also very knowledgeable. The course curriculum is quite good for students who want to learn a lot and improve their industry-relevant skills.
