Absolutely dissatisfied because of poor placement.

Placements: Only 10 people were placed from the 2025 batch till now, and from our department, only 1 student was placed. The placement scenario is horrible in our college. Not even a single decent company has come properly; no notable MNCs like Cognizant, Capgemini, etc. have come to our college, and the average package is of about 3 or 4 LPA.

Infrastructure: Some of the computers in our lab don't work, and there is no canteen facility available. Also, the college is way far from the main road, so to eat something proper, you have to travel a distance. Wi-Fi is there, but they won't let us use that, and the network is horrible in that area.

Faculty: Some of the teachers are actually helpful, but most of them don't care what we do, and our TPO is the worst of all. Semester exams were decent, but questions were unpredictable. Also, the TPO or teacher nobody helped us during placements and told us to do coding. We were left on our own.

Other: I chose this college and this course out of curiosity, but this is not worth it at all. Events were good but not great, and the campus crowd is not good here as students don't get a lot of space, and the campus surrounding is horrible, filled with warehouses and car cleaning companies.

Our college provides very good placements.

Placements: Around 90% of students get placements at the beginning of the 4th year, especially for information technology and computer science students. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. Internships are provided from the 3rd year. Students get a chance to explore themselves.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is excellent. Every department has a separate floor. Hostel is not available in our college, but many hostels are available nearby. Every department has its lab based on the subjects. There is a library and an adjacent study room.

Faculty: Teachers in our department are helpful, cooperative, and well-qualified. Teaching quality is good as they teach students from the basics. Semester exams are conducted strictly. There are 4 CAs conducted in a semester in the form of PPT, report, UT, and online MCQs.

Other: I chose this course because of my interest in computers. The best thing is the teachers and our batchmates.

The college is well maintained and the faculty members are well educated and knowledgeable also.

Placements: Approximately 50-60% of students are placed. The highest package offered by Amazon i.e. 32 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Accenture, TCS, etc. Many companies are coming now so the recruitment process is now going on. The companies offered many types of roles.

Infrastructure: The labs are well maintained and the computers are very much upgraded. The computers have I7 processors. In the library, you can get all of your required books according to your course. The hostels are also very good and well the food is also very good. But I will suggest taking food from outside of the hostel, that will be less costly.

Faculty: The teachers are too much educated and knowledgeable. They are too much helpful also. You can ask your doubts at any time of the day. He/she will obviously help you. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant. The college is under MAKAUT university. The questions are not very tough.

Meghnad saha institute of technology .

Placements: In my college in the department of information technology there are 60 students, in this year almost all the students got placed, 58 out of 60 students from it department got placed. The highest salary is 32 LPA offered by Amazon, and the lowest salary is 20000 per month, average salary is 3.5 LPA. Top companies are tcs, Wipro, cognizant, microsoft sales, Amazon etc. There are no internship opportunity from my college.

Infrastructure: The college campus is not so big and there is no playground. Classroom is good. Study environment. There is no hostel. All the major books are available in the library and student can take any number of books. All the labs are extremely good and also Wi-Fi speed is good .

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They guide everyone and motivate, they taught complex topic with good example and simple language. Yes they make you industry ready with excellent coding skills, the teachers are highly experienced and some their are IIT graduated. And some of from Jadavpur University. Research culture is very good .

Satisfied with the faculty and placements of this college.

Placements: Placements are above average. The average package provided by the companies for CSE and IT students of 2023 batch was around 5-6 LPA. Almost all the students get placed. Top recruiting companies are Nutanix, Thoughtworks, Microsoft and Amazon. Nutanix provided 34 Lacs CTC for SDE role.

Infrastructure: There is no hostel in our college, students will have to stay in a near by PG. There are very good and pocket friendly PG near our college. Classrooms are of pretty decent size. We have a canteen in our college which is also good. There is no ground in our college therefore we are unable to play outdoor games, although every year both football and cricket tournaments are being held.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful enough. Curriculum is decent but many changes can brought into it. It does make students industry ready but I do feel few subjects that are taught are not necessary to get a good job. The semester exams in the college are not that tough, they are medium.
