Teachers are good, but management needs changes and placement is at the worst level. They don't care

Placements: Maximum students are from CSE, but the minimum number of students placed is CSE. Last year, 2023, was their best performance for placement. If anyone checks the placement situation, the truth will come out about how frustrated the students are. Since 2024, the placement performance is 30%. The department doesn't care about the worst placement situation.

It is an average college but it can do better.

Placements: Around 66% of the students got placed in 2023. The highest salary package offered on campus was around 12 LPA. Top recruiting companies were TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, and HCL. The college doesn't provide many internships as it's a third-tier college so we shouldn't even expect much but they do provide the vacancy forms etc., for internships.

Good faculty and good tech but bad campus

Placements: About 65-70% students got placements The Highest package from on campus placement was 32 Lpa and off campus was 54Lpa. The Lowest package offered as I know was 2.4 lpa The top recruiters were TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, tech Mahindra, BNY Mellon technology and thoughtworks. Well I don't know exactly how many got internships but I think very few of them got internships from the college itself, most of the students don't get internship opportunities from the college. Top role that was offered is S...

Absolutely dissatisfied with the value for money proposition.

Placements: In 2023, 68% of students were placed through campus interviews. The average CTC is 4.95 LPA, with the maximum CTC being 21.64 LPA. Some top recruiters include TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, Infosys, and Amazon. The college is part of the Techno India Group, so some big companies come here to recruit students. The college does not provide any internships; students have to arrange internships on their own; however, the college does give permission to do internships.

The ground reality reveals a lack of verification. Only consider joining if solely seeking a degree.

Placements: Placements at our college are average, neither too good nor too bad. The major recruiters are Infosys, Cognizant, TCS, and Wipro, all of which are mass recruiters. Microsoft hired one student many years ago, and our college still boasts about it. The lowest package offered this year was 3 LPA by TCS, and the highest was 12 LPA.

MSIT review by a 1st year student.

Placements: 1. 80% of students get placed. 2. 11 LPA was the highest salary, 2/3 LPA was the lowest, and 5 LPA was the average for non-core branches. 3. Top recruitment was done from various companies. 4. Internships are not given by the college; students must get them on their own. 5. SDE is the role one can get.

Placements: Around 80 percent of students are placed in CSE and 60 percent are placed in other branches. The highest package is 17 lacs, and the lowest is 6 lacs. The top recruiting company is TCS. Around 30 percent of students get internships from our course in TCS.

Review of Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology.

Placements: Our college placements are average. Almost all students get placed in our college. A few students are going GATE. Top recurring companies are TCS, Infosys, etc. Students have to prepare off-campus for good stability in their careers.

Many students joined IT companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro etc. Many students got internships in Kolkata Metro Rail Corporation.

This college is famous for its good faculty members but has very low infrastructure.

Placements: Sales jobs were offered as well software developers were hired, and very few mechanical jobs. Around 50% of students were placed in our department with others pursuing higher studies. The highest salary package offered ranges from 3 LPA to 4 LPA. The top recruiters were TCS, Cognizant, etc.

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty helping nature, but very poor placement support.

Placements: 4 among the 70 students got placement in core companies, but none got into non-core. No guidance was given towards non-core placements. Companies came with offers of 3-5 LPA. Cummins, Pinnacle, TVS motors, TCS, etc. came in pool campus, like competition among a group of colleges, rather than just our classmates. Technical sales role was mostly offered with some as graduate engineer trainees.

Average college for average experience.

Placements: Since the recruitment drive has just begun only 2-3% of the class has got recruited or got an internship. The average package has been 3 LPA. Companies like AB Polypacks and mostly IT companies such as TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, Wipro are recruiting from our course. Two students got into internship for Flipkart. Job role like Graduate Engineering Trainee has been offered.

It is an average college, with average faculty and placements.

Placements: About 50% of students from the current batch 2021 got placed so far. 5-6 people got multiple offers off-campus. The placement scenario of this year is not very good due to the pandemic. The TPO cell is quite efficient in giving information about off-campus opportunities.

Placements: Top recruiting companies in our college are IT companies. One of the company offered many students for internship. TVS visited the campus in the previous year. Roles offered are as an engineer trainee and management trainee. The highest salary package offered was 6 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 3.6 LPA. And 3.6 lacks were the average.

Good infrastructure for study but not for enjoyment.

Placements: From Civil Engineering, only two students were placed until now. One of them has got a job in Byjus and the other one in Lumino Jupiter Solar LPP. In the training period, Byjus offered Rs. 15,000 per month where Lumino Jupiter Solar LPP offered Rs. 12,000 per month. No student has got an internship from any company.

Decent infrastructure and Great placement as compared to other private colleges, excluding a few.

Placements: About 60% of the students are already placed and the placements are still going on, I guess by the time the placements are over almost 80% of the students would be placed for sure. The highest Salary offered was by Microsoft 9.00 LPA and the lowest would be 3.25 LPA. Top recruiting companies would be sopra steria, TCS, nine leaps etc.

It is a good place to study with the best facilities and faculty members.

Placements: Placements in civil engineering are poor as compared to other engineering streams. However, they are better than a few other colleges in Kolkata. Placement graph of civil engineering department has fallen in the last few years although it depends on the market. Placements of other departments are okay.
