Placements: The placements do not exist for B.Sc students. Even if they existed, the students might not be well aware of the placements. Placement being important for students wasn't given much importance for undergraduates. Much more awareness and career development programmes are needed to be provided and brought into student's knowledge.
Placements: In this college, the placement department is not active, as the majority of students don't seek placements after graduation. The major focus regarding placements is given to BMS, BFM and BBI students. B.Sc students are not offered placements according to their calibre. The placement committee provides soft skills training, interpersonal skills and business etiquettes, which are covered in 3 sessions. The average package offered was 2.5 LPA.
Placements: I have completed my graduation from Mithibai college. The placements of our college are good. Many MNCs and other companies visit the college to conduct placements. The placements were very competitive, and the placement drives are managed well. Many students from our college get placed.
Placements: The placement of the college is good. Esteemed companies such as Balaji telefilms, Deloitte, PWC, Citi bank, KPMG to name a few visited the campus to offer great opportunities for the students. The highest package was about 9 Lacs offered by future first and the lowest was about 2.5 Lacs. The training and placement cell does put in a lot of efforts to not only get great companies on campus but even helps the students be prepared for the interviews.
Placements: Placements were 100%. All students were given the opportunity to sit for all the companies until they find their suitable jobs. Close to 50 companies had participated in the placements for my batch. Seniors were also placed at top mnc's and banks. Also them any students had got help with getting internships in various top companies.
Placements: The placement scenario is the same for both senior and junior batches. Almost everyone got selected in the campus interviews. Many great companies visited the campus, and many kinds of roles were offered to the students.
Placements: I didn't opt for the placements, so I don't know specific statistics. But as per my observation of my class, most of the students who opted for placements got placed in good companies. Overall, the placements are good on the campus. The internship was not a part of my curriculum, so I can't comment on that.
Placements: The placement cell of the college is very helpful. Right from your summer vacation they start to train you. There are lectures conducted by the cell where they teach you how to crack interviews, what to answer, what not to answer, what to wear and so on. The actual placements starts from the month of December where by various companies and startups come in week by week to conduct the interviews. Also the placement cells regularly help students to find internships as well. If you enroll in their ...
Placements: Masters course is not linked with any company interview or campus recruitments. So it's all about your own approach getting the next in your life after the course. However, the faculty will guide us well as per their enriched knowledge and experience, so that helps. Overall, placement & recruitment is the area in which improvement and advancement are needed.
Placements: A professional team was called to train students for interview rounds, group discussions and public speaking. The team also gave details like what should be the dressing style during placements. Companies like Morgan Stanley and many more visited the campus. The number of second-year students selected was very less, but many were selected from the third year.
Placements: Placements are pretty good for the students pursuing only B.Com but placements can help alot to the people who are pursuing any other professional degree like chartered accountant or company secretary. Even people with some additional Diploma can get good placements.
Placements: Top companies are approached for placements, and almost 80% of the students managed to grab a job. The salary package offered ranges between 4-7 LPA. They got placed in the desired fields. The college really helped students throughout the placement process. Companies hired students depending on their CPGA and other skills.
Placements: Placement opportunities are really awesome. Students can have a great future. Placement comes from Big 4 CA firms. And also many other reputed company. Placement percentage are really good for Students. Which gives students great opportunity for their future.
Placements: Our college has a big placement cell, which helps us get ready for the service sector and builds confidence in us. Placements are provided to every batch and also to our seniors in the college. Reputed companies take our interviews.
Placements: The college has an amazing placement cell. Reputed companies recruit students who have good potential and also provide internship along with studies. Also the BIG FOUR for CA aspirants. Basically, you can start working before completing your course and if you are good enough the company will hire you.
Placements: Placements are there from good companies like Indiabulls JP Morgan etc. Salary offered is always high compared to other colleges. Almost 80 % of the students get selected for placement but most of the students go for master degrees. There is also a placement cell in the college where once we submit our CV we get internships where sometimes there are certified courses and some with stipend.
Placements: The placements are according to the surnames into classrooms for the year are good. Mithibai has always been the best in all aspects, and it organises every aspect. The biggest thing is that it manages to get along all the three streams together on one campus, along with giving a various amount of facilities.
Placements: The placements were fair although participation had stricter rules. There were many terms and conditions which were to be met and it wasn't flexible. It has a strong brand value so it has decent companies coming in but not high paying jobs in the course I was doing.
Placements: We first have to register ourselves in the placement cell which is in the foyer area, and at the end of the year, 15 to 20 students are selected. The highest package offered this year was approximately of 13 LPA, and I don't have any idea about the lowest package.
Placements: For most master's courses under the university of Mumbai at Mithibai, college placements are not offered the students are expected to look for placements themselves. Internships can be included as a part of the dissertation, but that depends on which field you choose. My course being Biotechnology, we do get opportunities to interact with industry personnel, but that will not guarantee any placements.
