It is a good course and college.
Placements: On average, about 20% of MCC students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 2.95 LPA, the average salary package offered is 1.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 0.30 LPA. Some of the top recruiting companies that approach MCC students are Accenture, Delloite, EY, KPMG, and Goldman Sachs. Internships are offered to many students and training sessions are conducted from as early as the 1st year of graduation. Roles in nutrition, dietetics, and human development include nutritionist, dietician, research roles, and human resources roles.
Infrastructure: The labs are of high quality with separate labs for the undergraduate and postgraduate students in our college. Top-of-the-line equipment and great hygiene are maintained. The classrooms are good and a vast library with many books is also available. There are two canteens which have a variety of food available. Sports and games are encouraged at Mount Carmel ground which is at a distance of 10 minutes walkable distance from the college.
Faculty: The teachers in this course are very helpful and knowledgeable. A lot of them being young MCC graduates themselves, are very approachable and teach in a manner that young students can comprehend. The course curriculum is interesting to those who have an interest in the course and is available on the Mount Carmel website. The exams are graded quite strictly so I recommend speaking to the teachers about the style of answers that is required for them.
Other: The nutrition, dietetics, chemistry, and human development/Zoology course is a very interesting course that provides the students with a lot of scope in choosing their occupation. In addition, due to NEP, students can choose either human development, Zoology or Chemistry as their major. One of the best things about the course is the use of practical experiments. For the human development lab, students are encouraged to do small research studies which prepares them for research roles. Mount Carmel is famous for its cultural fests, encourages students to interact with other colleges and take part in many extra curricular activities. The energy of the MCC community is very positive and energetic. Often, we come across many girls in MCC who may be strangers but are supportive and encourage you.

It is one of the best women's colleges in Bangalore.
Placements: Due to the pandemic, we didn't have an opportunity to do an internship. The placements are good and they provide internship opportunities as well. I have no idea about the companies recruiting students. The roles offered in this course are dietician, nutritionist, preschool eacher, counselor, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college and course is good. There is Wi-Fi available in the college. The lab facilities are good, and the kitchen for practice is clean. The library is very big and can find an ample amount of books relating to all subjects. The hostel facility is available and is good. The canteen is huge and hygienic.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified and experienced. They are friendly and approachable. The semester exams are moderately tough, and the curriculum makes students ready for their future studies or jobs, etc. The passing percentage is 35%. The course curriculum is relevant.

Good faculty and campus, average infrastructure.
Placements: This course I. e B.Sc. Nutrition and dietetics, consists of 5 subjects, basically it's a triple major course. Basic nutrition, chemistry and human development or zoology are the 3 core subjects. Apart from this English is compulsory also you have to take a second language. This is a professional course so placements are only after M.Sc. not after B.Sc.
Infrastructure: All the basic facilities are there, Wi-Fi is there (the social media is banned on it), there are different labs for almost every course like biotech lab, nutrition lab etc. Classrooms are average. Library- good. Don't opt for the hostel if you want freedom as it's kinda strict and not at all flexible with the timings. College is also quite flexible with the clothing unlike other colleges in Bangalore.
Faculty: The teachers for my course are really very helpful, especially for nutrition and dietetics. They all are really well educated and have a good knowledge of their course. Even the teachers teaching chemistry are really good, not that helpful though. 2. The course content is really good, it even teachers you what you usually learn in Masters.
Other: 1. To be a well qualified nutritionist, the best thing is probably their course content, it's really good, though the syllabus is a lot 2. The human development department is a little messed up, as they don't tell the things before hand. 3. The campus is good, clean and full of greenery. It's a really happening college as almost every other day some or the other fest keeps on happening. There are atleast 4 fests a month. Also our college hosts an inter college fest called culah which is apparently the biggest fest of Bangalore.

Review of Mount Carmel College.
Placements: The education is excellent, with highly educated teachers and staff. The information provided is rich and appropriate, and there is no pressure on students. Recruitment is high, and skill development is prioritized here. Students can obtain high-paying packages from top firms.
Infrastructure: With well-equipped infrastructure and highly organized ambience, well-equipped labs, classrooms and a huge library with a lot of sources are there. The canteen has viable choices of tasty food, and importance is given to sports and games. The students are highly encouraged to do the same.
Faculty: This course is run in two batches, one morning and another evening. Though the course and curriculum are peaceful as of now, with regular hours of study and teachers who are highly educated and friendly, it gets us ready for society and work, giving us practical knowledge.
