Placements: Placements weren't given much importance in our batch as most of us wanted to go for further studies. Placements for the science batch were rarely conducted. However, placements are pretty good when it comes to commerce stream, and most of my senior friends got the job offers. Many companies visited the campus for placements.
Placements: Around 7-8 companies visited the campus, but most of them came for finance and operations. EY, TCS, Viacom, DE Shaw and a few others visited the campus. Viacom was there for our seniors and picked only one, so did DE Shaw from our batch. TCS and EY recruit in a comparatively large number.
Placements: The college conducts pre-placement preparation classes which help students to focus on their weaker section and perform better during placements. Many companies visit here for interviews which gives every student an opportunity to explore. The placement coordinators have a complete idea about the companies visiting and help students to gain knowledge before their interview.
Placements: The placements for my batch were a lot to the department of communication studies. Almost 50% of the class got placed before the 6th semester. Roles offered are editor, content analysis etc. In my opinion, 4 out of 5 students got placed in my college. There is a placement cell. However, it isn't very efficient.
Placements: The placements for our batch were pretty average. The placements continued even after our final semester. Only around 40% of the students got placed on campus. The average package offered was Rs. 2 to 3 LPA, and the highest package offered was Rs. 8 LPA. Well-reputed companies like Deloitte, E&Y, McKinsey, Wipro, etc., visited the campus.
Placements: The placements are provided in our college. A huge percentage of students are offered jobs by reputed companies visiting the campus. Companies like Google, Amazon and Dell were the scouting young starters. Our college has a placement which guides our decisions and helps us a lot.
Placements: Yes, there is placement cell in mount carmel college and it is quite useful and efficient. Around 30% of students got placed through the placement cell in companies like Dell, Deloitte, Target, KPMG etc. The roles offered included risk management, analyst roles, marketing roles ets. And average salary offered was around 3-3.5 LPA. The lowest salary offered was 2 LPA and the highest salary went up to 6 LPA.
Placements: The placements are good, but not as expected. Our placement process isn't completed as we haven't graduated yet. But, the internships were pretty good. I am not much satisfied with those either as I am expecting more. The highest stipend offered in the internships was Rs. 10,000 and the lowest was Rs. 4,000. Few students got internships.
Placements: The placements cell at Mount Carmel helps its students in all possible ways to GET placed in the top notch companies like Ey, delloite, Goldman Sachs to name a few. They ensure 100% placements and students are extremely satisfied with the job roles.
Placements: MCC provides good placements including Big 4s, MNCs, medium and small scale startups. (EY, PWC, KPMG, Delloite, Amazon etc.). It provides a wide range of position and experience. Approximately around 90% of the students GET placed. It provides opportunities for internship also.
Placements: It guarantees you around 80% placement. The package ranges from 15k to 25 k on an average whereas few get even around 35-40k. This is about commerce students I am not sure about the other streams. The college has a placement cell which looks after the students internship and placement who have registered with the placement cell.
Placements: The placements from the college are good as many students got placed in many reputed companies from all streams. The package was also quite decent and good, internships are also provided to the students from different companies, and frequent training sessions are given to the students in the college.
Placements: The placement scenario is okay, and not too many students doing B.A. opt for placements. But the good companies visit the campus. Generally, the students from the commerce background opt for placements. Compared to other colleges, the placement scenario is not that good. But it's okay because not many students look for placements.
Placements: Ours is a very new course called B.Voc Analytics. The placement office this year got two-three companies like E&Y and HSBC, but we are expecting more companies to come forward related to our course. The courses are getting a lot of companies coming, and many are getting placed. Many job fairs held, where many startups come for internships.
Placements: The placements are good finite and catering to jobs, not related to B.A. courses, but still one can choose from NGOs MNCs, and some startups. The placement cell also provides internships, but they are usually non-beneficial because you can get better internships through intern shall and even if you work for courses. You will not get attendance which is important for writing end semesters.
Placements: Going by the statistics, MCC provides good placements as 70 to 80% of the students get placed from the people who have enrolled themselves in the placement cell. Every year, companies like E&Y, Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture, DE Shaw, Dell, TCS, Goldman Sachs, and a lot more come for the placements. The placement cell is hard working and strives to do the best for the students. The highest package offered is about 16-17 LPA, and the lowest was 1.7 LPA. The average salary offered is 3.6 LPA. The roles...
Placements: The placements are very systematically done. Many MNC'S came for placements as there is a placement cell in our college. Most of the students who attended the interview got into jobs. The jobs offered were mostly in the call centres. The amount offered was minimum from Rs.12,000 per month and so on accordingly.
Placements: Mount Carmel college has very good placements. It also has campus selections. Our batch and our senior batch also got very good placements, and I am damn sure that our seniors will also get it, and our college placement cell provides the students with the opportunities to get placed in the leading MNCs, Banks, etc. The placement cell conducts activities like workshops such as interview skills, group discussions, aptitude test, mock interviews, etc. Many companies like HP, GSK, Amazon, Green Room...
Placements: The placements are said to be pretty good in the college, as the college is well known in both within the county and the outside. The seniors have told us that they are definitely able to use the fact that they studied in MCC to their advantage at work and otherwise. The college also makes sure that they have companies catering to all courses, coming in for the interviews, so that everyone has equal opportunity to get a placement.
Placements: As far as I know for our department, there were no placements. Our college hardly realizes that our department exists. The chances of anyone getting into a good company through college placement is minimal since they don't even consider calling in good companies relating to our field of expertise.
