Can pick the college because of the power of its name outside for good placements.

Placements: In my course, the percentage almost doesn't matter. What matters is your portfolio. Make really good projects. The highest package is 37k, and the lowest is 12k. Internship was optional for us as we were the Covid batch, but in a class of 30, only 3 participated. Companies like Homelane and Rolls offered roles as design project manager and interior designer.

Great for people involved in extracurriculars.

Placements: There are many companies that come for placements and even internships. But the package is not that high for undergraduate courses. And even selection in internships is difficult and very few people are selected. It is a long process and sometimes information isn't given properly or is delayed.

One of the best college of my life .

Placements: The placement opportunity is good in our college as many big and MNCs companies visited in like HCL, Microsoft, Infosys, dell, TCS and many more are there as the placement package that offers is 20 Lacs per annum and the average is 6 lacs per annum as 80 percent of student selected and get a good job.

Review of Mount Carmel College.

Placements: My stream was M.Sc. biotechnology which didn't have any decent placements. The commerce stream is given more importance. Placements are not given much importance to in our stream. It needs to be taken more seriously. It has been the same for previous batches.

I am satisfied with Mount Carmel College.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. The salaries offered were between Rs. 50,000 to 2 Lacs. The placement cell helps students not only to find their dream job but also to start their startups. They also provide lots of internship opportunities for students.

I'm not happy with the college life.

Placements: Placements weren't given much importance in our batch as most of us wanted to go for further studies. Placements for the science batch were rarely conducted. However, placements are pretty good when it comes to commerce stream, and most of my senior friends got the job offers. Many companies visited the campus for placements.

There is a scope of improvement if they stop being puppets to one another.

Placements: As far as I know for our department, there were no placements. Our college hardly realizes that our department exists. The chances of anyone getting into a good company through college placement is minimal since they don't even consider calling in good companies relating to our field of expertise.

Satisfied with the management and the friendly behaviour of the faculty.

Placements: Placements were average as there were only MNCs but no mid-level companies. Very less number of students got placed and there was no co-ordination from the placement manager. Hence, I was not really satisfied with the placement facility and the companies which provided jobs.

I would rate the college 5 out of 10 and recommend it as it is a great place to make friends.

Placements: Around 40% of the students got placed mainly because many companies refused to participate in the campus recruitment due to the lack of training in students. Mainly Big 4 companies visit the college. Junior associate and analyst roles are offered to the students.

Good infrastructure, faculty and facilities.

Placements: Our department does not provide campus placements. But at times, the placement cell provides us information on any opportunities. So far, Godrej has recruited a few seniors. We also search for internship opportunities by ourselves and we can work anywhere within or outside India if we wish.
